Laughing at the idea of Dir en grey being the only band able to do something musically. But I actually like the sample for DIFFERENT SENSE a lot. It does seem like the same style as Hageshisa, but based on the sample I think I'll like it better.

Other bands covers being shitty doesn't make this one any better. Tracklist seems interesting enough though. Am curious about a few songs. Kaoru, saying something retarded? Well I've never.

Don't think they wrote it themselves. But yes, reading that made me facepalm so hard it hurt a little. Oh I'd like for Dir en grey to drone. They obviously did not write it. Yeah I kind of figured. I just laugh every time someone seriously thinks Dir en grey is grindcore/deathcore/etc, haha.

AHAHAHAHAHA. Wow. 'the strongest and maddest record resonating across the globe' 'uncategorized' 'only artist that can surpass themselves'? I know band descriptions are generally terrible and wanky, but this is even worse than usual. It's so bad I kind of like Dir en grey less now.

I don't like the album title. It doesn't fit with any theme Dir en grey has ever had, imo. I'm excited, because I ended up loving UROBOROS, but the two singles released thus far have been pretty meh. I'm still hopeful, but I kind of expect to be let down.

Hm, let's see. I'll start off with saying April I didn't listen to almost anything new, so mostly I'm still stuck in March. But there haven't been a ton things I really loved. There haven't been any Japanese albums yet this year that have really impressed me. Closest would be Aube or Yamaan. Overall though there haven't been many albums at all yet this year that have. It's been a pretty weak year, especially compared to one of the best years in music I can remember, 2010. So far Jessica Pavone - Army of Strangers White Suns - Waking in the Reservoir EMA - Past Life of Martyred Saints Josh T. Pearson - Last of the Country Gentlemen Mountain Man - Grief Lykke Li - Wounded Rhymes were probably the only albums I really dug.

I've been to a lot of different concerts, but I've only ever had one bad experience. I went to AnimeNEXT to see RENTRER EN SOI. I bought a copy of I hate myself and want to... to get the pass to get an autograph. I didn't have time to take it back to the hotel room, so I just brought it with me to the concert, and someone stole it during the show. I wasn't too upset, since I already owned it. But they were only supposed to sign the CDs and nothing else. So I talked to the group doing it and they contacted the band's management and approved me getting something else signed. So, it worked out in the end and all I lost was a CD I already had.

I hope no one stole my username. =[ I would be sad if they did. [it probably was me. As far as I know I'm the only Marupinku around.]

'ello, I'm Marupinku. I used to post on TW a few years back and then I left. And now I'm back. I'm 20, live in the US, like music and books and other random nerd shit like video games. As far as VK/Japanese bands I like, ガ??ーシャ, RENTRER EN SOI, Dir en grey, cuol, the futures, Basket of Death, イツロウ, 戸??純, 浅??マキ, ??野敬二, ave;new. Really I'm into whatever, but those are some of my favorites.
