Can Malice Mizer's music in its last era really be classified as goth? All the goth bands I haver ever listened to they don't sound like that. I think there's a stereotype about goth music only because in part the goth aesthetic is inspired by the baroque period, but that's not necessarily the type of sound that chacarerises goth music. The same about Moi dix Mois's music.

I love this band and this song captures me the most. The music style, the lilt, they have an hypnotic effect. The dramatic interpretation, the theater on stage. Love how the drummer is completley absorbed by the song. It makes me want to play the drums too. I wish today's VK learnt from bands like Veill.

I think I know why I used to like NoGoD but then lost interest in the band. I think it's because the band's music had mono no aware. When they became major that mono no aware factor was lost to a consistent extent.

Does anybody remember that live, EGOIZ III? There Secilia LUNA played their song Nanji no inori. I love that song, but I have always wondered if they ever released it as a single or in an album...

Yarikirenai Neurose by Mist of Rouge is such a cool song. So hypnotic and  psycho. I wish someone could share the lyrics and possibly a translation too.

After like 14 years of wishing I finally managed to find and read Chirality, the manga. I didn't like the excess of nudity but the story was good.

Koibito by SHAZNA is full of Mono no aware. That gentle sadness that is hard to describe but you can feel it in the song.

Does anybody happen to know if Soleil Face of Soleil 2000nen Natsu was ever relesed as a CD? Ever since I discovered AGITO playing 首吊り屍形 I fell in love with the ong, but it seems it is impossible to find it except for the short clip in that video.

I hope there is more from MIRAGE to come.
