Quite similar to CAT here. I listen to so many different types of music that I just have my phases... I've just come out of a whole episode of too much pop music and have been listening to bands like ONE OK ROCK, coldrain and occasional Western bands for the past few weeks. It all depends on what captures my mind at the moment so I don't actively think "Oh, let's stop listening to this for a while so I can get into something else, maybe." It just happens. And I just go with the flow.

Yerrriiiinnnn! Love her. She's so adorable.

Uh, can't wait for this either. 2013 is shaping up nicely.

Can't be anything other than great. The small previews sounded great and I've loved all of their music up till now. They keep getting better and better. Wonder how their sound changed this time around though. Masato hinted they'd go heavier?

For Japanese vocalists I think Takeshi Hosomi (Ellegarden) and Taka (ONE OK ROCK) are obvious ones. There are loads of Alternative rock bands that mainly sing in English too. The vocalist from Champagne for instance. Or the guy from Noisemaker though his English is weird at times. Crossfaith's Kenta Koie. Can't say for sure about SiM's Mah but he's not too bad I guess. And oh yeah, Taka's little brother Hiroki (MY FIRST STORY) too. Adding Coldrain's Masato wouldn't be fair seeing as he's half American and fluent in English. For VK, I have no idea. All English I can think of is just "Meh."

Just about 10 years ago, around new years 2002. My brother had gotten Kingdom Hearts for Christmas and we often played it together. The soundtrack totally got my attention so I went to look it up and was suprised that when I'd downloaded it, it was in Japanese and not in English. (I'd mixed up Simple and Clean for Hikari) I got addicted to Utada pretty fast and from there on out it never stopped. edit: just noticed I already did my story on the first page. Oh well...

Wish I could go but apparently they're coming to Groez on Saturday and I have work then

That last setlist is quite nice. Shokubeni will forever be my first Diru love.

/jumps in upper neighbours' thread Ik vergeet steeds weer dat ik polysics al live heb gezien :/ En Dir en grey heeft hier randomly ooit ook op een festival gestaan. /sneaks back out

I don't know if you can still find it because the live I've watched was taken down. I can send it to you though. I have the official MP3 too. If you want it, just let me know

Love them. Their cover of Sistar's Alone is one of the best kpop covers I've ever seen. The vocalist's voice is incredible.

Reviving this one for another similar question: Anyone knows Japanese websites that offer online magazine versions? Free or not doesn't really matter.

Everyone's talking about "YG will want to extend" but does anyone ever think about what the members will do? If their contracts end, they can leave if they want to. Minzy and CL might not leave, but Bom and Dara are quite a bit older so who knows what they see their own future as.

Been waking up to people yelling for the past days. I want to get away from this and do my own thing but even that doesn't seem to work out. I've had to postpone studying abroad for quite a few times already but this time I don't know if I'll find a solution for my problem seeing as I actually need a person living in said country to act as a "sponsor" to me. A tax paying citizen. And I only know students....

Now this feels kind of random.

Just saw a tweet from the guys of Enter Shikari and they mentioned Crossfaith is set to support them on their North American tour in March. I would have loved to see them on the European tour too but sadly that's already taking place now.

With all those awesome singles this can't be bad.

All these new releases... Great!

This hit me hard to be honest. I woke up to all kinds of vocalists talking about it on twitter. Whatever the subgenre they were in they all looked up to him for his words and his works. I hope he didn't suffer too much after all...
-
They need a new full length in order for me to be able to forget Go. Their two latest singles were good so more of that please.

One Ok Rock, My First Story, Dir en grey, Coldrain and Crossfaith. I'm ready for 2013.

Damn this is looking and sounding good. Can't wait. They keep surprising me with little things.
