...I...I literally JUST heard these songs on nocleansinging. Such br00tal.

While I really like the "The Comeback Kid" style they've got going on here, I feel like they've lost something with Hiro going down the more hardcore vocals route. Meh, I'm probably just not used to it yet.
-
THIS is excitement. Their self-cover album a few months back was excellent.
-
Get hyped people, dat post-punk groove is sick.
-
I am so hyped for this. When LAR put out their last mini-album, I ended up with all of their stuff at once. It was a beautifully melancholy day. I mean that in the least high-school-goth way possible. Like Brand New or Sunny Day Real Estate melancholy.
-
Apparently it was released, but I never saw it anywhere. Best luck is probably amazon or special order through a record shop.
-
I'm still trying to find their last album, "Shinzou LIVE RATIONS." I'll end up picking it up next time I'm in Japan, but still.
-
I think they might also be releasing their new album in the UK/Europe, if not another world-wide release. Burundanga had world wide release according to altpress, and in the same story they were talking about new plans for recording. Maybe we'll get lucky?

Just as an fyi, the whole "Stop sharing" thing is a gigantic gag. What Nao, the drummer, is saying at the end is stuff like, "Stop shouting about uploading to Winny, nobody does that anymore. Look even the kids are gone because of your shouting. Look, now the last one is gone too." Obviously, yes, they probably do support that "please stop sharing," ethic, but the entire "stop stop winny upload~" seems to a bit of a deliberate over-exaggeration.

Jinn, whose last commercial level release was 2010's "ENGINE," mini-album will release a new Tower Records limited single titled "RIZING," on May 8th. Likewise, on June 5th, they will release their third album, "To The Seeker," on Defrock Records. Jinn saw popular radio play as well as several anime tie-ins in and around 2007/8. However, they have not put out a full album since 2008's "Qualia," making it over 5 years since their last album. A lyric video as well as announcement for "RIZING," and the album can be seen below. http://youtu.be/l8oFHtWU5TY

Well, Kouta is the other guitarist in LIGHTNING, which is IRON-CHINO's "serious" band, and Juhki from KNIGHTS OF ROUND are both in it, so the Doujin crossover is pretty strong. Got me though.
-
Absolutely it will. I'm actually kindof glad that I came on DEG when I did, because their musical evolution has followed my taste's evolution pretty damn well.
