  1. I stumbled upon this show last week when I only had basic cable while I was waiting for my digital cable to be set up and I fell in love with this show right away. It's a riot, witty, funny and easy to like.

  2. Go play Final Fantasy 6 while you're at it. Do it.

Me, I decided to finally get around to finishing LA Noire. Disappointing game overall in the gameplay department but the case stories are fantastic.

Believe it or not I've NEVER played a Final Fantasy game, lolwut. (Actually, that's a lie I partially completed Final Fantasy VIII)

I agree with the LA Noire bit, the game felt like it played itself but the cases and overall plot/storylines for each departments set of cases were bad ass.

  3. Might be moving to Tottenham or Alliston, Ontario within the next six months to be closer to my cousins. I can't wait to move there!

Even though I just moved back to Newmarket the job market here is fleeting and I've already had a handful of job offers in both Alliston and Tottenham.

  4. It's a reiteration that people think is an awesome way to describe a heavily distorted palm muted chord. I think the term was coined by Misha Mansoor from Periphery.

well frederik (meshuggah) started with the term to describe the sound by muting with one's palm. mish started to use it to search for guitars which had a heavy "djent(ly)" sound. since he is quite famous for his work ppl started to copy his terminology and that's how the (imo ridiculous and stupid) "djent-wave"

although i admit that i'm into those "djent" bands, i rly hate to use that word as a genre, since it's just plain technical and prog metal - nothing more and nothing less

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. I don't know much when it comes to "djent" terminology.

I also like a shitload of bands slumped into the category of djent and I can't stand the word either unless I'm using it sarcastically.
