  1. Here's a fun fact about The Wire. The first time you see all the season you'll go "oh wow that's the best series I ever saw". And it is. Some seasons worse than others of course, but the weakest season is a clear 9,8/10. The second time you see it all the seasons will be twice as good. And then when you think it can not get any better you watch it the third time and it is twice as good once more. Then the fourth time you've finished it you'll get down on your knees crying because you can't handle something that good. As for the fifth I do not know. Didn't get to try yet but will soon.

That's a fact. It's worth trying because it will happen to you.

I just saw À l'intérieur. The story lacks but everything else is superb. Tortureporn FTW!

  2. Vocals: Hisayoshi [Rosenfeld]

    Guitar: Takaakira Goto [Mono]

    Guitar: Michio Kurihara [Ghost]

    Bass: Heath [X JAPAN]

    Drums: Tatsu [Crossfaith]

    Violin: Sugizo [Luna Sea etc.]

Noises, Electronics, Programming: Masami Akita [Merzbow]

    Music would be interesting :P

Get rid of Heath, Tatsu and Sugizo and you'd have an interesting band. Still the most (=only) interesting post in this thread this far. I'm impressed!

  3. I didn't say the whole release sucked. But when the first song is so bad and annoying you just can't listen through it it's not something too good.

I have a policy I picked up several years ago and that is to give every album/single/ep i download at least ten listens. So I am not finished with this release. So stop being so cheeky and tough. That's lame since you don't know anything about how I listen to music.

But it's still not a good sign when a song is so ba you can't listen to it. That's just a fact and denying that is stupid. Amazing for you, bad for me. But as stated I will give the single more listens. At least I'll try getting through it as hard as I can. But stop judging me guys. :)

  4. ON THAT NOTE:

I really fucking hate the direction girugamesh is going right now. It's absolute bullshit. They're sacrificing originality for fame. Fuck that.

Sounds like you're talking about Dir en grey. Remember TMOAB right. They did that.

Dir en grey, The Gazette, Mucc and so on all released albums that I truely hate but I don't hate the bands since I love something they have done. But I do in fact hate everything that lies behind the music in these bands. The members, their image (except for early Mucc when they looked cool in my eyes) and so on. But the only band I really, truely hate is Phantasmagoria. Everything about this band is very bad. Not only is the music extremely bad. They also have Jun(?) (the bad guy who think he is hide) who everyone hates. Not possible liking this guy. He's so very buuu!

  5. This is SERIOUS and a bloody tribute to old grindhouse movies. People wanted to see it so bad they decided to make it into a movie.

Danny Trejo has his first mainrole in this movie and the movie will for sure be a legendary movie. The second best movie this year just beat by The Expendables. But also include very awesome role castings. The best ever, actually.

Been waiting for both this and The Expendables for a very long time now, so this will rule so hard. Both will be the manliest films ever made with Rambo 4 as a good third. Best movie year ever? yeah, it is.

  6. Was thinking the same. I always thought Hydra 666 was a new song. Doesn't sound anything like the other one so I don't see how it can be a remix, re-recording, remake or whatever. Totally different song.

  7. And I don't know why you mentioned Murderdolls in this thread anyway.
    ...

maybe 'cuz Joey is in this band too?

I don't know... another reason you think?

Still not a good reason. They have nothing in common music-wise, 13/15 songs are old Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13 written by 13 way before he even talked to Joey and so on. Joey basically did what he got told on that album, like he was 13's slave.

It's weird to think about the fact that Paul Gray used to be in Anal Blast.

  8. Edit: and i agree, they are live band. Amazing and offers their audience a pure relieve. I didn't catch them during Vol.3 and All Hope is Gone tours. But the first 2 for Self titled and Iowa tours, i was there and it was a thrill!
No offense but you sound old. Hehe! I'm not that old I could have seen them back then. I saw them opening for Slayer, playing after Mastodon which also did an amazing job. And that was after Vol. 3. You got all the best songs from the three first and that was great. Just the amazing songs. None of the "good but not good enough" songs. :)

  9. Domestic_fucker666 is way off here.

The Offspring's four first albums is Punk. Their self-titled and Ignition is more or less Punk/Hardcore. While Smash and Ixnay on the Hombre has more of a Skate Punk feel to it. But after that they stopped doing Punk. But all the four albums are classics especially The Offspring and Ixnay on the Hombre.

Green Day also used to be a punk band back in the days. Just as The Offspring their first four albums are punk. Melodic? Yes, but Punk nonetheless. Kerplunk and Insomniac are also really good albums.

  10. I love them. And I'm looking forward to Murderdolls' new album which I'm sure is going to kick some serious ass :B
A new Murderdolls album would probably be good, at least if they continue using Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13 and Maniac Spider Trash songs. But I doubt they'll do that on Women and Children Last. But the main problem with Murderdolls was the horrible production. You don't trig (trigged) drums when it comes to punk. You shouldn't do that in general, but in Punk it's worse than in anything else. But both FDFP13 and MST are awesome bands!

And I don't know why you mentioned Murderdolls in this thread anyway.

As for Slipknot. I like a lot of what they've done.

Iowa is their best IMO. Their most metal, brutale and well-written album ever. It sounds extremely complete and the ending song, the 15 minute long title track is by far the darkest song I ever heard. Well done!

Then Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. is their second best release. They don't consider it "official" but it was released by them so I consider it a Slipknot album. Great, wicked and experimental. Totally different from what to come late but still great.

Slipknot is a really great album, but lacks a little. The album is too long and should have been cut down 10-15 minutes.

Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) is good, though far from amazing. But I don't mind listening to it now and then.

All Hope Is Gone is decent, but not all that. Only a few really good songs.

But this band is best when seen live. Massive! I was lucky enough to see them some years ago. :)

And I don't like Deathgaze at all. They have a few similarities, but I don't think they sound anything like eachother. ;)
