2Musically, their old stuff is great but yeah I know what you mean. The guitarist is singing now and has a much better voice. Strange that he didn't do it before...
Looks like they're re-recording The Hunter for their next album:

No problem! They were really good live, lots of energy!
Here's their new song ^^

Good start. There's some exercises you can do to improve your pitch (hitting the right notes). Try following these arpeggios and do this daily

Any fans of Esprit D'Air here? Apparently, they reformed last year, but that's when I found out about them. I'm going to their London show tomorrow at O2 Academy !
Here's their latest song If you haven't heard them before, you should check them out!

I saw them at London's HYPER JAPAN last year. The crowd really loved them, and they knew how to get them going haha. Not my usual thing but they were good live

Surprisingly, I ended up enjoying listening to the album more than I thought I would as I never expected much from a best of album. My fav tracks off it are Kare Uta, Guren, Ito, and Taion. Especially Kare Uta, it still remains one of the most beautiful mid-tempo ballads I've ever listened to.
I noticed that too with the lyrics! No more "I will walk together" hehehe XD

Thanks all!

I'm also an art student (kinda) living in the UK.
There's an art section in the forum, so hope to see you there
Ah, missed this earlier! Cool, nice to meet you. I will check it out!!

From my photo, you can tell obviously X Japan, haha... I was lucky to see them in London recently, and also 6 years ago when they last played here. Seeing them really inspired and reassured me that love of jrock still exists. I also like Matenrou Opera, the GazettE... recently, I got into Esprit D'Air [link to new song] (they reformed last year. I saw them a couple of times and they go crazy on stage!). I also like Kiryu, Versailles, Vamps, Crossfaith, and R-Shitei What about you?

Woah! Skillful crafts Very detailed on the hair, especially in Hizaki's! Nice one
-
Glamorous Sky... usually an easy one to cover for beginners. Good luck!

Feeling welcomed. Thanks guys!
-
honey drop was what got me into them!! Anybody here going to their London date this year?
-
What do you guys think of their recent Best Traces Vol 2 ballad release? I am liking the re-recorded tracks, although I will always have a soft spot for the original recordings.
