Minidisc is an audio format, so both are audio only. 1990.02.24 is the better quality one of the two, but both are very, very nice for 22 year old recordings.

Each disc is a clone of either 1st/low generation or master cassettes. In the case of the MUCC show, I believe it is the master disc itself because I've never seen anyone with the same recording.

Simply put, yes. They're all "original" recordings and aren't available anywhere on the internet.
