EDIT: I completely forgot to put this up: I have a cassette tape which has marked on the A-side Dir en grey's first live along with the location in Kanji, and on the B-side X [Jealousy] DEMO, [Art of Life], Yoshiki demo. There's no sugar-coating this one, the quality is TERRIBLE. You can tell what the songs are if you're a fan, but that's about it. It's not what one would call listenable. However, it sounds like the real deal, a mix of early Dir en grey songs with a couple of standby's from La:Sadie's thrown in as well(I believe Objexxx & Lu:ciel). The label is written in pen by hand. I've never seen this anywhere online, ever. I've never seen it in any stores. I don't even own a machine to make copies of the damn thing. The thing got passed to me years ago by Gordon of JrockNYC - I've no clue where he got it, but I'm pretty sure it's a god damn rarity. - http://imgur.com/a/AEqdw
Hey all! I'm obviously new here to the boards. I'm not sure what the etiquette here is, and frankly I feel uncomfortable having my first post here being a sale thread, but a couple friends who are members heard I was clearing out my collection and suggested I put up a thread here. I've the main page up over at https://buymyvkstuff.wordpress.com/, but I'll post it here as well:
"I’m clearing out my collection of Visual Kei and Japanese Rock stuff! Before I put it all on eBay I figured I should let the community that helped drive my obsession have the first go at it. There’s a lot of really wonderful stuff here that I hope can find a good home where it’ll be appreciated. We live in a world where almost everything is mass produced and instantly available, and maybe there’s something to be said for holding a tape in your hand that there’s only 500 copies of. Sorry for the lack of photographs – in the middle of unpacking and haven’t hit the camera yet.
If there’s anything you’re interested in feel free to send me an e-mail over at “silvsellshiscds at gmail dot com” with an offer and I’ll try to work something out with ya. Payment through paypal is preferred, just because it’s easiest, but if check or cash is your thing that’s always an option. I charge whatever the real-world rate for shipping a CD is(A few bucks for a CD here in the continental US I believe); I have zero interest in making money off people for S&H. I’m also a fan of delivery confirmation, just as a means of making sure everything goes smoothly. I’ll be listing things by band name, title, track numbers, retail price, and any additional information(autographs, damage, edition). Retail price isn’t the perfect way to judge the value of an item, especially with the pricing on Japanese products, but many of these items are hard to price with stores like Third Stage out of business, and it helps to give a *general idea*. Please don’t take it to be an asking price, there’s certainly some items that sold for ridiculous retail. DVD’s included are more than likely region 2.
With that out of the way, here’s the list!
Aioria -~煌め逝く瞬間~ – 11 tracks, ¥3300/$40, This is just one of the gems of my collection. Incredible incredible design. Full slipcase, obi, regular booklet and secondary photobook. Aioria’s lineup was one of those crazy things that happened in the early 2000s. Everyone either played in or went on to do big things – their singer went to Shelly Trip Realize, their drummer to D, their guitarist played for Da’vidshito:al and Klein Kaiser and went on to play in babylon and their bassist came from Clair de Lune and went on to join guysfamily.
Anubis – PAPYRUS ni Egakareru RA no Tenbin – 5 tracks, ¥2100/$26, oversized DVD-case style release. Marked as a “1st Collectors Single”. Contains CD, lyric booklet built in, collectors card of their bassist RUN, and an “Anubis The Book of the Dead Passport” that’s part dayplanner, part photobook, and part history lesson on ancient egypt and the hieroglyphs.
Black:List – MELANCHOLY – 2 tracks, ¥1050/$13, obi included, small single-style case.
Blast – 緋い領域 – 4 tracks, ¥2000/$25. Incredible incredible incredible design. Oversized fold-out case, beautifully illustrated with a quite novel slide-in CD holder. This is one of those things that I really need a photo of. A prime example of how amazing production values were on indies releases at the time.
Blood – 1st Period DX – 11 tracks & 2PV, ¥2500/$31, obi included
Blood – 2nd Period DX – 11 tracks, 2live & PV extra, ¥2500/$31, obi included
Blood – Dead-Hearted – 7 tracks, ¥1890/$23, obi included
Blood – Les Fleurs Du Mal – 2 disc 12 tracks & DVD with 2007 US tour documentary, ¥3500/$43
Blood – Lost Sky – 16 tracks, ¥2500/$31, no obi
Blood – The Reaper behind Me – 2 disc, 23 tracks, ¥3500/$43, obi included
Blood – Vengeance for Blood (Limited Edition) – 2 disc 18 tracks, & 10 track DVD, ¥3500/#43, obi included
Blood – Vengeance for Blood Live in Mexico – DVD, 38 minutes, 10 tracks, ¥3500/$43
BloodIV – GAIN -second edition- -9 tracks, ¥2800/$34.50, obi included
cascade – ピアザ – 18 tracks, ¥3045/$37, obi included
Clair de Lune – Lovingly – 7 tracks, ¥2300/$28, obi included, limited 2000 edition, Serial No. 0312
D’AIR – WITH – 4 tracks, ¥1575/$19.50 – obi included. Still wrapped and unopened as far as I can tell! I feel like D’AIR was one of those bands that slipped under the radar. Just good decent synth-driven VK. Nothing revolutionary, but good. Even if you’re not interested in the CD, go youtube them or something.
D≒SIRE - 終末の情景 -La Scene Du Finale- – 13 tracks, ¥3398/$42, fullsized plastic slipcase, INCREDIBLE digipak case, hard cardboard with built in heavy paper lyric book
deadman – endroll – Last Live at Shibuya O-East 06.05.23, two disc DVD set. First DVD is their last live containing 21 songs, the second is a PV disc containing 4 tracks from their final album. An excellent concert, and a reminder of how damn awesome deadman was.
Devil Kitty – -悪魔降臨- – 12 tracks, ¥3150/$39. Obi included. Devil Kitty was bizarre. Just plain weird and off the wall. Not Cali=Gari off the wall, but you get the idea.
Die In Cries – NODE – 7 tracks, ¥2300/$28, obi included. Die in Cries was awesome. Their singer Kyo was ex. D’ERLANGER and their drummer yukihiro went on to play in L’arc en ciel.
Die In Cries – VISAGE – 11 tracks, ¥3000/$37, obi included
DieLa’vice – Amelia – 2 tracks, ¥500/$6, obi included. Die La’vice was awesome! They should have been HUGE, but they made the mistake of forming in 2007 instead of 1997. Great riffs, prominent bass, driving clean vocals. Some of it is reminiscent of late 90s pop-driven VK, some of it is darker, like if Dir en grey hadn’t descended into cacophony after Vulgar.
DieLa’vice – Harmless Aberrance – 3 tracks, ¥1050/$13, obi included. DieLa’vice was apparently way ahead of it’s time. The obi contains a QR code for scanning on smart phones, released in 2006.
Distray – Fare Well – 3 tracks, ¥1890/$23, obi included, Matina records. Let’s talk about ridiculous band names. Most of these dudes played in LAYBIAL before playing in Distray. Ruiza went on to play in Syndrome and then D, their second guitarist moved on to the legendary Madeth Grey’ll and their drummer went on to play for Syndrome and Shelly Trip Realize. Distray is that typical Matina late-90s sound. It’s everything that hooked a lot of us on visual kei.
Domestic†Child – 心臓 – 4 tracks, ¥1500/$18.50 – See-through case, obi, AND disc! Super cool!
Duel Jewel – Visions – 2disc – 5 tracks & PV disc

EZO – Fire Fire – 11 tracks,
[FIGURe] – When Miyavi left Due le Quartz to go solo, Kikasa and Sakito founded a follow up project called [FIGURe]. It was received terribly. So terribly that I can’t even find the proper title for this, their 2nd single. Two tracks, comes with a trading card.
Galneryus – Beyond the end of despair… – 12 tracks, ¥3000/$37, slipcase included, no apparent obi(doesn’t seem to have been released with one), also comes with a Galneryus cardboard coaster or oversized Pog. I’m really unsure of what it is!
Gazette – DIM (DELUXE EDITION) – 17 tracks, 2 disc, 2nd disc is DVD – ¥3600/$42 – REALLY COOL. Full-size slipcase with “holographic” image, two disc CD-set and thick photobook titled [sCENE]DIM.
Gazette – NIL ~Nameless Liberty Underground – 12 tracks, ¥3150/$39, obi included

Kar’MariA – 5 tracks, ¥2100/$26, obi included, made up of members of Chateau la Tour, ANGEL+DUST, Devil Kitty, Ghost & Domestic+Child
L’arc~en~ciel – SMILE – 11 tracks. Appears to be the American pressing done by Tofu Records in conjunction with Ki/oon.
L,DEAR – Ai no biyaku – 3 tracks(2nd pressing, 1st press lacked final track), ¥1500/$18.50, obi included. Two of the members were actually siblings. Pretty rare in VK!
La’Mule – 結界~ガラス神経ト自我境界~ – 2 tracks, ¥1500/$18.50, obi included, first release from Soleil records! If you don’t know La’Mule you should - http://youtu.be/OXMUwGUeYwM

LOUDNESS – Devil Soldier – 8 tracks, ¥1529/$18.75, obi included
LOUDNESS – DISILLUSION – 9 tracks, ¥3500/$42. The amazing thing about this release is it’s from 1984. The ridiculous price represented the new technology at the time. Pretty funny how it dropped and then climbed back up to this by the late 2000s.
LOUDNESS – The Law of Devil’s Land – 9 tracks, ¥1529/$18.75, obi included
L’yse:nore – four-leaf clover… – 5 tracks, ¥1890/$23, obi included, as well as case-sized postcard with the cover and band members on it. Soft digipak style case.

Mell – Red Faction – 3 tracks, ¥1050/$13, obi included

Their singer went on to play in Medical Trance Peach, a weird but really good band.Sleep My Dear – Relieve – This might be one of the coolest items in my collection. 3 track single that comes in a cd-case sized decorative box that’s a few inches deep. Included with the disc is a large fold out series of photos, and a two-track video(& MORE! it promises) on what appears to be an old video recorder cassette, one of those small ones that were used in the late 80s/early 90s.
