Thanks guys! The only concert I've been to so far was a VAMPS concert. I stood in line for 8 hours and ended up somewhere in the middle of the crowd. It's nice to know I won't have to be so extreme for this one (especially considering it's in the middle of winter instead of summer).

*pokes head in* Hello everybody! I'm new-ish around here... I have a question for anybody who's been to a folk metal concert before. I'm going to see Ensiferum and Finntroll next month and I have no idea what to expect. Will I have to show up 12 hours early for a good spot in the front like I would for a J-rock concert? Or are folk metal fans not quite that zealous? How violent are the crowds, generally? Stuff like that.

Hello. I'm doing a school project on Visual Kei (specifically, comparing and contrasting the music category to the fashion/style) and I'd like everybody's help searching for sources. I'm looking specifically for any interviews with vk band members that mention the band's purpose -- why they chose to make the kind of music that they do / why they chose vk fashion and what message they are trying to send to their audience with their music/fashion, that kind of stuff. Thanks in advance to anybody who can come up with anything! ^.^
