That's how I am. If I could, I would, but I'm lazy... and to even SEE anything like that in this place would cause a huge uproar, no joke. I rarely dress up or anything, usually only putting on any sort of makeup for special occassions/whenever I feel like it (which isn't often). The exception is jewelry, cause I make different sorts as a hobby/modify existing pieces to make it my own. And AKADO is a great example of visual kei influences, but not to a point where it looks just awkward. It mixes other styles with it to get a fusion that works really well. And I like industrial goth stuff, so I like the music pretty well. (I wonder if they'll ever release more? Looks like they're kinda on a hiatus... or dropped off the radar.)

Seaweed snacks, listening to Let's Plays on a playlist for background noise, reading (currently in the middle of Songmaster and 1984; reading H.P. Lovecraft short stories off and on) and making random ringtones from Pokemon cries.

This. Use styles that compliment your body. Not just for people trying to be a VK band, either, but as a basic rule of thumb when making an outfit for yourself. I like certain fashions but there's no way in hell I'd wear them due to my current body type. Side note: There are some bands that are influenced by it and do it well. (I guess an example I would give is PSYGAI. They've mentioned influences from it, that link in specific. Yet people seem to spout that they're shitty because of that (they're not bad)... if only they knew some of the bands in this thread.) @freundin's link - One of them is pretty much a cosplay of Toshiya [link] from Dir en grey from way back when... HOW THE FUCK DO I KNOW THIS OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD. Also, vocalist sounds like he screamed until his throat became raw... only to start singing like that. To keep on topic: This is all I could find. I dunno if it fits, but most of the stuff here is worse...? I dunno, you be the judge. Side note: The one I WANTED to post I can't find since the files no longer exist anywhere on the internet nor does any information on the guy other than his last.fm page. Granted I found this stuff nearly a decade ago, so it's not a shock that everything is dead and that my memory is possibly really awful in regards to how it sounds. All I remember is 'this is fucking weird, why do I have this?' sort of feel about it.

Ah, I forgot about this place, it's one of the first free music sites I went to, and learned about she and anamanaguchi: 8bitpeoples [OHP] As the name implies, it's chiptune-based music. It has early works from she, anamanaguchi, KPLECRAFT, USK, and more. (I mention those cause they're sorta-recognizable? Espically anamanaguchi as of late.)

Another label that releases stuff for free - Bunkai-Kei records Ambient electronica sort of stuff, all have samples to listen to. Stumbled upon them through Smany, who has the latest release for download on there as well.

Shortest: Couple months. He always hit on other girls in front of me to get me riled up *eyeroll*. I asked nicely to stop, he didn't, and that was it. Longest: 2 years. Counting the prior friendship, 10 years. It was an online thing; really long story. Once we started dating though, things slowly went to hell. He became really possessive, verbally abusive and didn't want me to do anything to get healthier. I'm glad we never met face to face; it could have gotten FAR worse. Still sucks to see him turn like that after so long. Current: Single. Focused on health, not dating.

Let's see... constant knee pain that makes it difficult to walk, let alone stand up blinding migranes (or something?) that include dizziness, nausea and what feels like my brain being thrown around in my skull numbness in my arms and fingers thanks to my shoulders and a pinched nerve the car acting weird right after getting it taken into a mechanic and last but not least, my older cat throwing up unchewed food on her bed again. At least the house plumbing stayed fixed today.

I really should look for a new Rainmeter skin.

Avatar Yes, the James Cameron one. I'm probably gonna get SO much hate for this opinion, but I could not finish this movie -- and I NEVER shut off a movie I have not seen before. The movie is beautiful visually, but the story I have seen so many times before, ala Pocahontas, Fern Gully, and other movies in that same vein. I can see why it got good reviews (mostly for the visual aspect, but VFX does not a movie make), but that story... I'm so glad I didn't rent this, but borrowed it off a family member. Long story short: Beautiful visuals, but a bland and predictable story that's been done many times before.

Wreckless Eating is a channel I've been watching for a long time. They eat, do food challenges and review all sorts of things, and there are different shows for what they review, along with the main show which is where they eat some of the weirdest stuff (at least for Americans) imaginable. They also post A LOT of content - 1 to 2 videos daily, and have a video game/LP side channel. If you like this channel, I suggest also checking out Cult Moo. CookingWithDog is a cooking show that features a dog as the host, and a Japanese lady as the cook. She makes various Japanese dishes. I actually learned about her through MH... been subbed since then. Continue? is basically three dudes on a couch playing retro games and having fun, even if the game is terrible. I always watch one of their episodes when I'm in a bad mood.

The last two movies I saw were Mr. Brooks and Shutter Island. Both were pretty good. I'm trying to watch more movies, since there are a lot I haven't seen.

Was playing SWTOR, now going through Pokemon: White 2 endgame... thinking about picking up a 3DS game, but not sure what. Prolly the Ocarina of Time remake or Fire Emblem (after checking it out -- never played the series but it was recommended to me...) Don't have the Xbox at the moment, otherwise I'd finally pick up Mass Effect and run through the series.

Personally, I have a thing for simple mixed drinks. Some that I make on the rare occassion I do drink are: Fireball Cinnamon Whisky + (diet) soda Vodka (regular or whipped cream flavored) + blood orange juice/Italian soda Jaeger + Dr. Pepper Kaluha + milk I don't drink often, so those are pretty much the only things I make when I do drink, the first being my usual since I always have soda. Haven't found a beer or a wine I liked, which is amusing since this town has a lot of wineries, is a huge producer of hops, and has a festival celebrating that fact every year.
