Neige: Well, listen to me Herbst, we have to write a new album for Lantlos Herbst: Do you have anything new in mind, any new tunes? Neige: Hmm, actually no. but I can write 4 or 5 songs within a couple of days. I'll make them really simple but the fans will love them, the hype you know... Herbst: Let's put some jazzy shit there to make the songs sound weird! Neige: Coool! And a really good artwork, a brilliant production and promotion from the label! But fuck, we have no songs now. But who cares? Herbst: We can claim the songs are simple because we are modern and we make minimal music. Neige: You are on fire!! Herbst: Well, let's start with B minor and then....hmm no inspiration, help me Neige!! Neige: And...we end with B minor man! This is minimal!! Herbst: Awwweeesomeee!! After one more listen, i realised the new Lantlos is really boring and bad. The so called "Jazz Parts" sound more like an Ambient Soundtrack for a boring Point and Click Adventure Game.Total Lack of Passion. There actually is no Songwriting at all. But the Production and the Performance (mainly the Drummer) is nice.

I loved the older Atrocity Releases like "Todessehnsucht" and B.L.U.T which was the most superb and diverse Album they came up with. "Calling the Rain" and "Die Liebe" were nice in Terms of being understood as Experiments. After that, Atrocity began to suck really bad, when "Willenkraft" was released. Ok, there were actually some storng Tracks on it like "Love is dead" but mainly, the Album was rather bad, compared to their former Releases. I don´t understand why they bother being a bad Industrial/Gothic Blah whatever Band. Their Strongspot is Death Metal. You can hear that clearly in Tracks like "Reich of Phenomena" (Atlantis Album). Doing the 80's Coverversion Album was a nice Idea, but they overdid it badly. "Werk 80 II" was redundant and the Coverversions are poorly executed. I rather keep listening to the Originals (just listen to the A-Ha Coverversion....yuck.) Alex's long Hair or Livs Tits cannot save them from being plain boring.

An Excerpt from Chryst's (formerly known as Korovakill) upcoming Album "PhantasmaChronica". http://www.omniversal.net/player/ The Album will be one big 50 Minute Song. I hope the Rest of the Album is as good as the Sample.

Indeed, they really blew me away. The PV to "The Violation" is great too. Someone on Youtube described them as "Septic Flesh on Cocaine", and he is damn right. Einvera - Static Ascension

I like this Band a lot and they deserve far more Attention. Not only because they are progressive and technically very good, they have some eerie Melodies and Riffs that make me shiver. "I have made my Bed in Darkness" is a very interesting Release. Nothing groundbreaking, but unique.
