  1. Like it matters what label they're on. A PSC band is going to be at Tokyo Dome. Anything could happen.

Buuuuuuuuuut I this is gonna be over in six months.

Actually... it matters. Have you seen any UCP band changed the scene dramatically or even been very unique? :Umno:

But I agree with that other thing.

  2. I liked the whole mini actually. Well old songs haven't changed a bit and new ones are good too. Horizon is very good actually. Can't review this well because most of the songs are old ones.

Oh, I almost forgot. I am happy he makes something different to RES because it would just sound pathetic.

  3. Eh, I think bands aren't overhyped if they have released about 10 songs. For example GULLET is one of my favourite bands like EVER and they have released 12 songs (okay, it's not under 10 but still). Of course I have stalked their previous members and I have found more great bands that way.

But back to the topic. Dir en grey for sure. They have couple of good songs but I still can't get over the size of their fanbase. If every band whose singer sounds like kyo would have the same fanbase the fire alarm would be the next big hit.

The GazettE. They make the same music as hundreds of others VK bands but still they are much more popular.

UnsraW. I don't really understand this one either. They make very decent music but still they sell.

Many more too but these are the ones who came up to my mind first.

  4. Everyone should listen to these albums at least once:

Plastic Tree - Puppet Show (1998)

    ??? - ??? [MUCC - HomuraUta] (2002)

    ??? - ??????? [Merry - Gendai Stoic] (2003)

lynch. - greedy dead souls (2005)

    D'espairsRay - Coll:set (2005)

    RENTRER EN SOI - Sphire-Croid (2005)

    girugamesh - Girugamesh (2007)

9GOATS BLACK OUT - devils in bedside (2008)

These should give a wide picture of japanese rock music.

  5. Sigh... Finally it happened. They have made very shitty music after Browny single. And they were at their best when Ryohei was in the band. I guessed it when I heard that Aoi was going to do solo. Kind of relief I guess

  6. Okay, I have listened to it couple of times now.

Human clad-monster: I like it. It's not their best but I like the way they have flirted with industrial music. It reminds a little bit of MIRROR stuff. Well done. 8/10

DEATH POINT: I've heard this thousand times before. Nothing special but what can you expect from this kind of PV songs. It's not bad but god it's generic. 7/10

13 -Thirteen-: I like the drumming in this one. I'm not a fan of this kind of "hey! hey!" songs and this doesn't change it a bit. Overall pretty forgettable though. Except the drumming. 6.5/10

LOVE IS DEAD: Okay, I have to admit that I was wrong. This doesn't fit in the album at all because they don't use electronic stuff much. This really is D'espairsRay's Fuzz. This stands too much out of the album. This really isn't the song that should stand out. 5/10

DEVIL'S PARADE: This is a great song. DEVIL'S PARADE reminds a bit of Coll:set. Those eerie guitars and keyboards are amazing. But I hate the chorus. They should have made it more darker or something. Now it sounds just stupid. 8/10

dope: This reminds me a lot of Coll:set. It's much lighter but still. Unfortunately this kinds of songs are very generic these days. They sound like many other western band. 7/10

FALLING: Lighter song. It's just good. I wouldn't listen this many times but I already forgot what it sounds like. Boring. 6/10

PROGRESS: It's like Desert with slower tempo. Even if Desert is one of my favourite Despa song this isn't that good. Pretty boring. 6/10

FINAL CALL: Super-boooring. Typical single song but still... this is baaad. Why they had to put this in MONSTERS. It would have been much better without. 5/10

abyss: The snoozefest is continuing. I don't think they have used many hours to make this piece of mainstream. 4/10

Overall the album was a solid entirety with couple of stand-outs. Okay, it's MUCH better than REDEEMER but still... This is boring and heard already. I would have wanted something bolder. Nah, not bad though... after REDEEMER.

    Overall: 6/10

  7. This is freaking lie!!!!!! Junno is considered as a good singer too!!!! that's the way he sings which the voice is kinda unique and better than some vocalist of crappy major bands. So, please stop criticizing his talent!!! 8=>
I wouldn't say his voice unique and talented but whatever.

I hope they will find a new singer. Maybe they will be better too.

  8. I was pretty shocked when they were going to become major band but now I'm not afraid at all.

smile. - Nothing special. This actually the first time THE KIDDIE reminds me of An cafe. The riff is nice but still it's kind of boring. Skippable. 6/10

shooting star - Great. This is the best THE KIDDIE song since NOAH. The guitar riff is simple but interesting and Yusa's voice sounds great. This gave back my faith in THE KIDDIE. 9/10

HERO - Pretty nice. This is boring and forgettable and Yusa doesn't sound good at all. Still it's different from other THE KIDDIE songs and that's why it's nice. Maybe it will grow on me. 7/10

Overall the single was great. Shooting star was amazing and other songs were pretty good too. This hooked me again to THE KIDDIE.

    Overall: 7.5/10
