ギルド(GUILD) Vo.RYUICHI will depart after their one-man tour "GUILD SEASON1 LAST LIVE - DEPARTURE -" final at Akasaka BLITZ at 2017/2/3 and their future activities are uncertain.

活動再開をお待ちいただいていたファンのみなさまには、突然のご報告となり大変申し訳ございませんが、
今回の東名阪ワンマンをもって、ヴォーカルRYUICHIがギルドを卒業させていただくこととなりました。
現メンバーでのライブはこの東名阪ツアーが最後となりますが、今持っているものを全力でお届けする所存です。
尚、今後のギルドおよびRYUICHIの活動は現状未定となります。
決まり次第、改めてご報告させていただきます。

my heart sank reading that. they have been playing together since high school and they've around forever so most guild fans kinda just assumed they will remain around forever.

 

i can't imagine guild without ryuichi at all T_T

Same thoughts exactly, i dont see them as guild without him. Even if they continue it'd be better to kinda just reform under a new name should they recruit a new vocalist.

ryuichi said that he still enjoys singing and hopes that one day he might have the opportunity to stand on the stage again.

 

reading everyone's replies to ryuichi's tweet made me tear up badly. i can't remember when the last time was i saw THIS much love for a bandman T_T

Awwwww his vocals are what got me into in the first place.... They haven't been as active and I thought they disbanded but I do hope he comes back again!
