Hello Everyone! I always wanted a place where i could meet people with the same interests as me, unfortunately, i don't know anyone who likes v-kei or Japanese music in general, so i'm really happy that i finally registered on MH! A forum that i knew for a long time but never registered because i'm a lazy guy e.e The bands i usually listen too are: Razor, DADAROMA, Mejibray, shellmy, luna sea, The Gazette, Royz, Disreign and jiluka (probably more but thats enough bands for a post) I know about v-kei for some years now but i only got really into it a couple of years ago. I play the guitar and the drums too ^^ I can't wait to meet and discuss music with all of you guys!

Hi there! I'm Andy. 26. From Argentina. Graphic Design student.... let's see, what else... Started into Jrock/VK with a The Gazette's song: Cassis, years ago, and since then I have been gone and back and gone and back; now I'm mostly a Kaya fan (in fact i freaking worship him lol), but i like to see/hear what's new from the bands i like (Versailles, the gazette, screw, alice9, D, matenrou opera) and what's new in general. I think you'll find me, most likely, gushing about how perfect Kaya is, but i'll check other threads too Later!

Well hello! I'm Raine, short for "Lorraine", and that's my middle name and what I go by. I'm not really good at typing these things, so I'll just tell you whatever. I'm 14, born on January 17th, 2002. I like anime, I have many favorites since it's impossible to pick a favorite, ya know. (but if I had to pick, it would be either Death Note or Tokyo Ghoul). My favorite genres of music is Punk, Rock, Alternative, Indie, and Visual Kei. My favorite Visual Kei band is DADAROMA, just in case you wanted to know aha. I can be shy sometimes, but it depends on who I'm talking to, and what my mood is. I like playing the guitar and the ukulele, although I wish I could play the violin and the piano. I'm mixed race, you could say. Half white, half black. My favorite color is red, and I like manatees. So I hope to meet new friends on here, and thank you for reading.

I found a pretty new VK webshop today. It's called Chaotic Harmony and the have some pretty well priced goods from a handful of VK groups. They have a special deal going on now too for 10% off if you use the code Vkei10 at checkout. http://www.chaotic-harmony.net I really like the prices and I think some of the items can only be bought at lives.

What better place to spread my Visual wings than here?! Ello my name is Raphea and I'm a connoiseur of Visual Kei. I want to share my thoughts on matters as well as hear what people think about the bands that I prefer/like. I have few friends who listen to the genre, and if they do they're probably only stuck on few bands... There are few bands I dislike if any! I believe that all music is music and people pass judgement without a logical approach as to why they don't like something. I don't listen to EVERYONE I think it's quite impossible ha, but if I don't listen to them, I most likely know about them either way. Of course I have my own collection, but feel free to refer me to anyone you think I'll enjoy! Bands I enjoy Matenrou Opera (All time favorite) Merry Dir en Grey X Japan BUCK-TICK Vistlip AvelCain Umbrella MEJIBRAY Plastic Tree Kiryu ZIZ lynch. LM.C D HYDE Kuroyume The GazettE VELVET EDEN Malice Mizer Moi Dix Mois Raphael BugLug The Sound Bee HD Vampire Rose GLARD Disbanded ex Versailles ex BIOSPHIA ex ViViD ex AWOI ex Aicle. It's honestly a pleasure to make your acquaintances. Let's chat yeah?

All right, since I am looking for prog bands (doesn't matter what country) ever since I got into Periphery about a year ago, I was hoping some of you that are more knowledgeable on this matter could suggest some awesome Prog metal/rock bands to me. Avoid posting bands that are also mostly non-stop screaming, I do appreciate when a band has come amazing clean vocals (Like Periphery and Chronographs) I already know and love these bands here: Periphery TesseracT Chronographs Sean Hall Anciients Between The Buried and Me The HAARP Machines Means End Polyphia Scale The Summit Uneven Structures If you know bands that are similar to Periphery, TesseracT, Scale The Summit, and/or Polyphia, DO NOT HESITATE to post that band on here

There's this new band I recently found that played at Rock in Japan Fest 2013. They have a bit of an indie/electronic sound, they still haven't exactly found their footing yet but this song I think exemplifies what they should try to keep to. Give it a listen and see what you think.

Well, it's been a bit of a skepticism on their singles ever since Raise a Flag. Even though it was the single that brought me to NoGoD, it was a pretty bland single. Kamikaze's b-sides weren't as interesting as the title track itself. Stand Up was very "commercial" if I can say that but Naraku was a hell of a b-side. 神髄 -FRONTIER- is a change! The title track is the best I have heard since Kakusei and while the chorus is a bit on their usual style the guitar solo and riff right after that more than makes up for that. The b-sides remind me a lot of Naraku with such amazing guitar intros and just amazing mood throughout the whole song. This is definitely an amazing single and apparently the first of a series from NoGoD on the concept of "true meaning"? Best single since Kakusei (Quoted)

There has been speculation that RUKI has been composing new songs and posting info on twitter but I haven't seen any. Apparently, there is also a picture of a soundtrack on Ruki's mac with a song title "(kanji)scars"

Hi! ^__^ I would like to request the lyrics (kanji is ok) of their new single "DIE KUSSE"! Thanks in advance!
