i feel like a broken record at times like these.... Oshare kei is a mistake by whoever tried to write it at first. It's osare kei. Secondly, the global community is the only community who still has a deathgrip on the "~~~kei" description. In +4 years and ~200 vk concerts I've almost never heard anyone use these classifications. which is why you cant really put the label on most of the bands these days. Not to mention the terms the global community itself came up with. also as an ensoku fan I've gotta point out--you used the band name for everything else but when it came to ensoku you wrote the song name this is a pen. When describing bands these days we describe the atmosphere because very few bands are strictly one way or the other. "abare" "kirakira" (I've never said or heard kirakira kei) are the two main ways to describe bands besides "futsuu." Sometimes, we do say "kote/kotekote." you're looking at modern vk through a very dated system

-真天地開闢集団-ジグザグ 繋がりたい 悪いのはバンドマン 仕切りが嫌い オキニ ZigZag just kind of (mostly) killed it this year for me. I really enjoyed most of their releases. While their songs are enjoyable without any Japanese, I think they're better enjoyed with knowledge of bangya culture & knowing the terms etc. I worry that they're going to run out of jokes soon though lol シェルミィ It's hard to say an entire release for them was great, and I still haven't gotten their newest mini (oops) but they had a lot of songs this year that are my jams. So here's my fav songs of theirs from this year 平成メンヘラセオリー 放課後の凶室 絶交 and that one song where they throw candy live I forgot what it's called because in my head it's just 飴玉を頂戴 ザアザア 雨に殺される No doubt about it, I enjoyed XAA-XAA's releases way more last year than this year. However, 雨に殺される is probably my favorite release of this year. ZETSURIN HAGUKI 若者離れが止まらない! It was interesting seeing the transition from their substage acoustic act into a real band. I'm glad they put both versions of the songs on the CD, too. I've always enjoyed 絶リン☆ハグキ so it's not that surprising I enjoyed them as ZETSURIN HAGUKI. It's a shame they haven't done more as a full band but I'm not that surprised they went back to just doing stuff as the acoustic act. ReVision of Sence 八面楚歌 It just has a lot of my ReVision jams on it like Yeah! めっちゃナンマイダ, ヨノナカカオ & 幸せの殺し方 and I mean there's a love song to broccoli so what more do you need プロキシオン ▲:再生 My fav of the bleep bloops rock tbh. 続・ルル, キラキラ, and あいのうた are some of my fav songs on the album. It's not my fav release of theirs but it's really solid and I love them Last Day Dream Another Dimension VoDvsLDD I just love LDD so much you guys :') Another Dimension is such a great song though. I love Saimotic's screams and like wowee three guitars and some of the best crabcore Osaka has to offer HONE YOUR SENSE PHONOMENA I love Broken Toys in Attic so much. I love HYS so much. what a great band. ヒステリックパニック シンデレラ・シンドローム I want to say Big Issue too but I can't remember what songs are even on the CD. Cinderella Syndrome has a great DVD attached too. I think my list of CDs I bought and then forgot about is as long as the list of CDs I enjoyed this year so as a bonus here's that list too Some of my favorite purchases this year were older CDs from bands that were new to me--Proxyon and Cosmo-Shiki for example--or that I finally bothered to really check out--HONE YOUR SENSE and Las Day Dream for example. By the end of this year, I was going to non-VK lives just as much (or more?) than visual kei lives and it's reflected in my CD list too. Next year I'll pretty much be done with VK, tbh.

i havent talked much to ryo tbh but i do have his pick... hyo's my homeboy though. I've talked to him the most out of any of the members. they'd certainly be delighted if you were able to see them yeah if they play a certain song (I forgot which one) they throw A LOT of candy... Last time hyo was walking back from the merch table and just randomly handed me more candy?? thanks bro... hmm i mean less that they're crazy and more that they need parental supervision. They've made some really catchy songs that I love but.... very often they remind me of a high school garage band that you wanna support but at the same time cringe a little while watching...

I'll probably always have a soft spot for hyo. he's a big goofball. A lot of times we run into each other we just noises at each other lol.. 平成メンヘラセオリー、放課後の凶室、絶交 are all my jams I also like that one song where they throw candy into the crowd (half because of the candy, half because i like the song itself) but if you ever see them do that one be careful... hyo is merciless when he chucks the candy into the crowd LOL (on the other hand yuga daintily throws it lmao) but this band is honestly a H O T M E S S

yeah i was about to say the same about XAA-XAA years: 2 years unique songs: 41 time it takes to listen: 2 hours, 38 minutes productivity rate: ~20 songs / year it is worth mentioning they made 12 songs in about a 2 month time frame before forming.

I think dosuguroi is my fav of the three singles btw Junko has officially left the band. We asked at an in store and they were like yep she quit. Anyway I guess Roji has chosen the translation of 中毒者 as addict rather than junkie Interestingly enough, they're starting a fanclub in January that's only 423yen a month. For those who join early, they're having free birthday onemans for Haru and Kazuki. Haru's is "oharu no hi" (oharu's day) and Kauzki's is called "mayu sagari kinenbi" (drooping eyebrows' anniversary/holiday). So, yeah, they make fun of Kazuki's eyebrows too if you were wondering They'll have an important announcement @ LOFT Everyone is expecting it to be "we're going up to Tokyo!"

they were just doing OK tbh they've plateaued and interest has been waning for a while imo. I've never seen them get more than a few rows getting into it at event lives. Most of their songs people just don't even bother with--they just wait for them to play kangoku rockmen. They really have never been able to get past being the The Kangoku Rockmen Band. The recording quality has really suffered since they left badegg box and the newest single was forgettable. they were pretty fun live (well, for the most part). I enjoyed seeing them whenever I did and hope I make it in time on Friday. live was way better than CDs imo. but I'm also in the camp that I just kind of accepted shiki's vocals. I hope they get a new vocalist but remember N@H is technically on hiatus too. So, I wonder if GIGAMOUS will come back at all.
