⇒Physical Music (CD`s, Tapes, Records) I have my music collection separated. Half of it is in America in boxes. The other half is sitting on a little bookshelf. I have bands that are broken up or that I am less likely to update their collection at the back and then bands I update more frequently stacked at the front (by order of release). ⇒Physical Videos (Blu-ray, DVD, VHS) They're on the shelf under the CD shelf. I don't really bother so much with DVDs. ⇒Digital Music (iTunes, Google, rekochoku, downloads, etc...) I don't really download or buy off of iTunes. Everything's in my music folder. Slightly more organized than that sounds. ⇒Physical Goods (Clothing, Obi, Posters, Cheki, Bonuses like photo`s, etc...) I have a cloth box that I dump my towels in. I often forget to return them to the box. Cheki is in cheki files (either ones designed for the band or just your average 100yen shop trading card cases). I stopped buying goods besides towels and cheki but the ones that I do have are either on the shelves or in a bag in my closet. Tour pamphlets are in the bag in my closet. ⇒Other Stuff You Collect Crap I catch at lives. Picks go in with the cheki, specifically with the cheki of the member whose pick it belongs to. Unless I don't have any for that band (hoshi no house, grieva, lost ash...) then it's just stuffed in the pocket in one of my random cheki files with the other picks. Drum sticks have a post it on them so I know whose it was and is put in that bag I mentioned. Other crap is just dumped in with them. I'll probably remember what band it was from.... probably. Magazines etc are possibly in that bag too or sitting on my floor if I am contemplating throwing them out.. I haven't looked at it in a while. Flyers are in a accordion file thing if I plan on keeping them, in a little HEARTS. bag if I consider them trashable but... haven't thrown them away yet. ⇒Summary I should probably throw away/sell half the crap I have.

I dig it. I know what I'm doing December 20th \m/

Tatsuki's just helping a friend (Aito) out because Vurst got put in a really bad situation when their new bassist quit really suddenly
-
one of my friends for souiumono follows both. i'm not big on megamasso and havent seen ansia but the bassist is adorable. he was excited to hear i'm american and positively delighted to find out a nickname for mcdonalds in the states is mickey d's. for some reason he started calling me that until i threatened to throw an empty coke bottle at him, then he said my name properly. he has a tattoo in english but wouldnt show me and my friends (like i said i'm american, my friends there that night were an Australian and a Japanese lady with decent English) because if it was wrong he'd be embarrassed so my Japanese friend joked that it was an "I ♡ mom" tattoo and he just nodded along, lol.

I also saw POLYSICS at some point (on the myspace music tour, haha). 2007? 2008? Something like that. Also Bikkey telling me happy birthday and giving me a hug after their Osaka oneman. Minemura (hana shounen baddies) asking me about something I wrote in a fanletter to Tsubuku before leading me to him an Tsubuku remembering my name before Hiroshi excitedly ran up to meet me is also a fond memory. Worst memory would be getting norovirus the 2nd time I went to see Souiumono. It had been months since the first time I saw them but I had to leave in the middle of them.

i forgot to grab the single from april both times i saw them then oops. but yes it's a free thing if i recall correctly they're decent but have like 5 fans so i'm surprised they're so close to finishing the 1 year plan. i wouldnt mind if the release for stores was the songs repackaged tbh.
-
biopanda is right in that the soundtrack album is their opening themes that they came out on stage to and a completely separate thing from the best of album. it drops may 25th and you can get it at fiveStars, their official shop or i believe the remaining live(s?) they have. best of album is July 2(?).

when sending in letters be sure the stationery does not include designs that use registered trademarks!! They state that if you do there is a possibility they wont be able to use it. if you want to send something in but are worried about the address etc i have advice on logistics here: http://yeti-house.tumblr.com/post/85875150289/postman-pv-project

looking forward to the cds. Though i wonder if there will be in stores since they literally announced it as "even though we're going on hiatus we're releasing two albums" at the tour final. also there will be an important announcement at the hiatus live june 1st.
-
haha but actually they made it all caps starting from the tour in february..? During symmetria, right? the tour that half of it was moved to like this past week because Kei had the flu. ..but the tour had me raising my eyebrows a bit though, for a few reasons (namely ticket price+the choice of live houses that I know anything about). regardless, I do like the art for the tour announcement though
-
Glad I somehow could help! Hope you enjoy them. I'm looking forward to seeing how the release turns out.... actually I didn't particularly like CHAIN that much but maybe it got better after that..?
-
oh man that week was insane for me with ~7 lives in 8 days (I literally ran from one live on one day to catch the last 3~4 songs and encore of another one day so it's a little more than 7) while being pretty sick... so things are kind of a blur. And I didn't write a proper recount of what happened like i normally do for lives so i can't reference much. They were heavy. More metalcore than hard rock? idfk terms lol. I can't remember what the singer's singing voice is like but I was okay with his screaming, which I can be picky about, and he also did the high pitched screeches like those Yuri did (idk much of Signal's work after Korey left so I'm not sure if he kept it up after that) if you know what I mean. I lovingly call that type of screeching pterodactyl noises but maybe there's a better term for it lol. I do remember having some feelings of "ah yeah this reminds me of old Signal." I have a feeling that they were a lot like old Signal, and I remember thinking that that was probably what Korey wanted to do to begin with anyway (and why he left Signal was difference in musical opinion, right?). But like I said, I'm foggy on it. I just remember my mental note basically being "Fixer=good and want to see again sometime." They had like 4 fans in front row, I should have asked about going into saizen for them lol (I probably would have if I hadn't been sick). Maybe now that they're starting formal activities they'll start getting more fans....? If not, uh-oh doesn't look good on that front. Hope that answered it a little. I still need to listen to that YouTube video (maybe it'll refresh my memory? probably not.).
-
Looking forward to the CD I was quite pleased by how they were live. I liked the guy's screaming/screeches. I'm interested to see how it sounds in the fully recorded songs
-
That's definitely true! Hopefully we'll find something else in common (even if I'm a huge fan of the silly and weird bands, my tastes are all over the place). Hah, yeah, I'm active in the scene here and it'd be more if I didn't live in the middle of nowhere. But it's been a fun experience!!
-
Welcome! I think the only band we have kind of in common is CodeRebirth. I went to their last live actually... they were pretty great live
-
Yeah, I really love 琉海WahLD too. I'm interested to see what the follow up will be like (especially since it includes Natsume) Also, I agree that it's interesting that their sound is still very true to the roots, despite Jin being the only original member. Though, I feel l like this lineup is the one that works the best since serial number's original line up..which technically wasn't even the original one anyway (but I assume we're talking about Jin, Shiyu, Kai, Hibiki and Kazune or just the first four).
-
Yukimi's new blog can be found here.
-
yeah there probably won't be any surprises from them with the mini-album. I agree that their sound hasn't changed much over the years. That's probably one of the reasons why they are still really tiny. Though, I feel like they've got less silly songs these days? But I'm looking forward to the mini-album! When I (finally) saw them they played letter, 色彩 and 病ンデミック. Letter has moshing and yandemic has moshing but they are two different types of moshing.. And it's not like moshing in the west.

Can't say I'm surprised about ryo leaving. Three bands is a bit much + INHALE hasn't been very active. I was beginning to wonder what was up... But still, I'm a bit bummed, I had wanted to see him in INHALE again but I guess Unveil will have to do since they're starting up activities again.. Still curious about what his other band RINEN is about.

yeah ok it's not like i was at the oneman, talked to him seriously at demachi after the live with just one other person present or went to his izakaya last night??? when i say he's sad i'm not joking. he's genuinely down. i've met this guy many times over i know what he's normally like on stage and off. I'm not saying I believe 100% any of what's going on in the official announcements, but something is up.
-
Sorry this is late I know. No announcement at the oneman about it. We talked to bucky but a lot of that's remaining private. He seems really down and it was obvious at the live.
