Lol, I actually love 「あゃ」 and have seen Annie's Black so I am slightly familiar with some of his work... but it seems most people don't know him. Hope it's a nice fit for the band

It's from a Oneness in store event back in march, but it's probably my favorite picture I've taken with any bandman.

Figured I'd grab DADAROMA's CD while seeing them. Ensoku for a friend (there was an in store I wanted to go to) Souiumono's newest CD in type A format (there was an in store I wanted to go to; I already had B and didn't particularly plan on getting A...) Ensoku cheki x3 Souiumono cheki x2 + the cheki I took with them at the in store Reirei's ryoji cheki because they were fun and I told him "I'll buy a cheki if it's yours" so he pulled it for me, lol Minus Jin-Say Orchestra cheki x2 And an embarrassing amount of Roji (XAA-XAA / ex. Belmosaic) cheki because I like cheki from Belmosaic times and everyone and their mother comes up to me asking "YOU'RE A ROJI FAN RIGHT?!" smh I also preordered Shounenki's kokoro monster and got some Oneness cheki.

because there's enough demand for it + they're going to do in stores for it which means that their few hardcore fans will buy multiple copies regardless. but that doesn't quite mean that they're getting to be even close to popular. they're a baby band and there's mild interest and that's nice but popular probably isn't the word I'd use, is all as for Nagoya--plenty of bands go there regularly. Even if there aren't many bands stationed there they get lives all the time from Osaka and Tokyo bands alike so I'd say there's still a high amount of competition...¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think it's just like with XAA-XAA's Usotsuki in that they just didn't make that many to begin with. But thankfully, unlike XAA-XAA, they'll actually repress it. It'll even have their SE included in the 2nd press so I might buy it again... Both times I've seen them they didn't have many people there for them... But I saw them in Osaka and they're a Nagoya band so it might be another story in Nagoya looking forward to that!! They're fun and even if the vocals are still a bit iffy to me I want to keep an eye on them

I fell in love with them after seeing them 2013.05.18. For disclose tour it was basically two of the most amazing lives I've been to even if I wasn't hardcore into any of the bands I was there for. The chemistry was so good. cocklobin's last live was amazing. XAA-XAA is always A++ so of course their first oneman was great. Their sponsored live also had really good chemistry and most of the bands that played were really good so that one is also up there. Minus Jin-Say Orchestra is an amazing band--and way better live than recorded. It's always so fun and weird, so their oneman is definitely up there. the best one you've ever seen (be it by internet, dvd etc.) once again I can't choose just one (._.; ) Souiumono (2012~spring 2014 timeframe) →　It used to be a lot more fun... They had setlists that got everyone involved and it was easy to get into and it was a fun and exhausting (in a good way) experience. The most tired i ever left lives was after Souiumono. They were best at onemans, but lately they aren't considering setlists very well for that either.... Minus Jin-Say Orchestra → They are extremely consistent in quality and have never disappointed me. They change their setlists around regularly and I've always left loving them more than before. Belmosaic → They were so good, I'm still crushed about them being broken up. XAA-XAA → Honestly, the most exciting band for me right now to go see. BugLug → I always see them and am blown away by just how good it is--especially since I'm not so big on recorded stuff Ensoku → they're amazing. The end. Sel'm (2013~fall? 2014) → After Souiumono, the most exhausted I've ever left a live is from Sel'm. They're so skilled and then it's just crazy how much we got down at their lives. I've heard it's gotten boring now that John is gone though... I haven't seen them in about a year however.

nuppe's can still be considered black face. He did it because playing the part of someone from Africa. His mannerisms were affcted and he was supposed to be speaking another language obviously so he would just make sounds. It was a joke but I still think it was more out of ignorance and lack of cultural awareness (a huuuuge problem here) than racism Oh ok sorry. Though, once again as you noticed it's a pain in the ass to sift through tanuki threads so it's highly doubtful someone (even fuckyeahtanuki) would grab links to specific threads--plus discussions like what you wanted to see are most likely spanning several threads. But definitely, you have to be skeptical with reading it and most of the time is bitching about gya tbh. But even if you're majoring in japanese it doesn't prepare you for the bangya slang that riddles the threads and they sometimes give members nicknames (ie kisaki is "tooth" iirc. JokArt au Legal's bassist's name was Suu so they wrote his name as the kanji for vinegar)

The new songs that I heard tonight seemed pretty good! Looking forward to the minialbum and hope I can go to the oneman... I can write down most of the mini album songs since they did announce it today for us. But I'm mobile so it's a bit of a pain..

Yeah if you're overseas I understand that feeling. But when you're here, you pick up the crazy talk without realizing it. It's messed up my japanese, lol. But I don't really look at fytanuki, it's easier to find info on bands I want to know about+see if I've been mentioned by looking myself.also, to be on topic: nuppe's obsession with boobs has gone from amusing to gross at this point

It might not be said in those terms but it's hinted at on tanuki itself. If you are out of place etc people will be like "what are you, panpi?" and panpi are expressly forbidden (it's in the rules and I've actually taken the time to look at the rules page lol) But yeah if you can't find it yourself you might be in over your head with tanuki... The slang is crazy on there. (sorry getting a little off topic now)

I think the (unspoken?) rule for tanuki is if you don't know how to use it you shouldn't be on there. Also, unless you have built up the really crazy japanese VK vocabulary then a lot will be nonsense...

ryoga from BORN was mentioned before And here's one that probably only I remember in the foreign community: nuppe from Souiumono. That wasn't the worst of that incident either but it was more ignorance than racism imo
