Was it Miyavi? Most of the Japanese concerts I've been to have discouraged (flash) photography, but Miyavi is the only one where I remember actually having my camera confiscated after the bag check. Really sad to see this. I've always liked your writing style - it is a little formal in tone sometimes, but I always get the sense that you've put quite a bit of thought into everything you say and that you're not afraid to express opinions that go against the majority. In some of the past tradeoffs, even if I disagreed with what you were saying about a song, I always thought the way you were saying it sounded lovely. That's a wonderful quality to have on a forum, IMO. I'm definitely going to miss having someone around that's actually heard of most of the same semi-obscure hair metal bands I grew up listening to as well! Wishing you all the best in the future! <3

I'm casual when it comes to VK - I only really know the most popular bands, and even then I only listen to full albums by a select few. Open to learning more, but I rarely ever seek out new bands. For Japanese music in general, probably a Casual Shadow. I'm not picky about genres, but I usually get obsessed with just a few bands at a time and move through a bunch of their releases. I search around for new stuff every now and then to make sure I don't miss anything super exciting, and I'm quick to snatch any individual songs or videos that catch my interest, but I don't listen to full releases by very many artists.
