Today (or yesterday, lol it's so late) I went to see Deep Purple in Helsinki with my dad since my mom was too tired to go. I had seen them once already in 2007 but imho they were way better back then. They played almost exclusively songs from their newest album (which sucks) and I almost fell asleep during the first hour. Encore was full of great old songs and that was fun. Otherwise... meh.

Any vapers around here? I thought that a forum this size must have even a few vapers here. I've been vaping now for almost two years. Visual kei in total is a pretty uniform genre where looks and sounds seem to repeat themselves and get copied from band to band all the time. Being such a genre it is I was wondering, if there are also repeating trends in song and album names. How many songs / albums can you count which have either the same or a very similar name? I think it's not worth discussing very common words such as death or love, because I think every band which uses English has a song/album name with either one of those words in the name. I decided to make this topic since I was just listening to Lycaon's MASK and realized there are actually three MASK-named songs on my PC: Dir en grey - MASK Lycaon - MASK Royz - MASK

As Champ stated earlier, this thing is basically up to Trombe to decide. But I think that by using only a few tags could actually help. What if only like two tags were used, eg. "New release" and "New band"? I doubt no one would really explore tags like New member, New tour (since most of us don't live in Japan), Hiatus etc - those interest only those who are actually interested in the band and they'll check the info anyways. But I understand Magatsu's view of an easier way to spot new bands - though it isn't that hard or confusing atm.

I think it would probably make the forum harder to read - if there was a need to use only 3-5 prefixes, but you listed 17 different prefixes - how does that make it easier? Maybe tags would be more efficient and easy, but imho prefixes wouldn't be good for that job.

Could it be that these bands announcing that they'll conditionally disband wouldn't otherwise afford to continue their activities? I hope it's like that instead of them being complete attention whores.
