New track from Scour, the side project of Philip H. Anselmo, John Jarvis, Derek Engemann, Adam Jarvis and Mark Kloeppel. Check out the track and ask yourself "whois the guest vocalist on this track? hmmm. who can it be?". Trust me, you'll never figure it out without seeing/reading it.

Ghetto Ghouls got two new tracks out for the holidays, this time based on two slasher flicks. Garbage Day, based on the infamous Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2 and Edge of the Axe, based on the movie with the same title. Enjoy.

That sure was an okay track! Can't say I'm in love with it, but it was decent.

Cool! Sounds pretty good, and both choices are excellent. Your own stuff sounds very good too. Well done, sir(?).

Hello  I am the singer of a punk band called Clan dos Mortos Cicatriz, we have a lot of eroguro elements and japanese literature references on our lyrics but they're in portuguese. This week we have released an album playing covers from bands that we consider to be important to us and between them there are songs by The Stalin and G.I.S.M.

    The Stalin - https://clandosmortoscicatriz.bandcamp.com/track/the-stalin
    G.I.S.M. - https://clandosmortoscicatriz.bandcamp.com/track/death-agonies-screams-g-i-s-m

Hope you guys like it! See ya!

Man, William Castle was such a fun director. Macabre, House on Haunted Hill, The Tingler, 13 Ghosts, Homicidal, Mr. Sardonicus, Strait-Jacket and The Night Walker are all pretty damn amazing, and The Old Dark House is really fun, albeit very strange, as well. He was quite ahead of his time, and really pushed horror forwards with his use of gimmicks both within and outside of the movies. I really would've loved to travel back to the late 50's and see some of his movies in the cinema. Must've been absolutely amazing.

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan - I did not like the original Borat movie when it was released 15 years ago, but considering the current political climate in the USA I just had to watch this and it's a homerun for sure. Holy shit, this was incredibly funny, and, even more relevant. All around hilarious, and at times just pure genius. Sacha Baron Cohen is, as always, very good and Maria Bakalova is even better. That performance is INSANE. Can't believe she kept her face straight through some of these scenes. Incredible!

I think their Death Metal Demo, Helloween EP, Walls of Jericho and Keeper of the Seven Keys Part I & II are absolutely brilliant, but nothing after Keeper Part II have managed to grab my attention. I do prefer their Death Metal Demo, Helloween EP and Walls of Jericho to Keeper Part I & II tho. More speed than power metal, and both rougher and rawer. But both Keeper albums are superb as well.

Watched the new HULU movie Books of Blood loosely based on some of Clive Barker's writing. I was preparing myself for disappointment but... it was actually good??? I enjoyed it at least, almost all the way through. There was some dumb stuff in it (some of the "connections" between the stories were kinda forced/lame) but otherwise I liked the individiual stories they presented. This sort of format is ripe for sequels so I hope that 1. they'll make one, 2. when they do, they won't fuck it up. Solid stuff.

Andy Lau has about  a billion albums, just like a billion other Asian actors and actresses. So in his case, and Jackie Chan etc, it's not as unusual as it in certain times have been incredibly popular to work this way.

I haven't heard everything he's ever done, but this song is just beyond fantastic.

Meiko Kaji is another one. She is easily among my all time favourite actors, and she's released some incredible music as well. In fact she's a personal favourite of mine. Quentin Tarantino used two of her songs in Kill Bill, Shura no Hana and Urami Bushi.

Man, the world is just so fucking weird. About 6-7 years ago I used to take the night bus home drunk and kept meeting the same guy, a "thrasher" who had similar taste to me, and we always talked about music, girls and whatever. And we usually joked about starting a thrash metal band together, inspired by Municipal Waste, Toxic Holocaust etc. But just as a joke of course. Over the past 3 months or, me and a very good friend, have had some of my good friend's friends play stuff for us as neither of us play any instruments (I've written the songs, but I can't play any instruments so we need session musicians). I know the drummer and bassist from before, but the guitarist, who is a friend of my friend, is someone I did not know who was. I do know his band and all, but not who he was. I did however meet the guitarist for the first time yesterday as we were filming some promo stuff and god damn it, it was the guy from 6+ years ago. And now he's playing with my band, playing thrash metal inspired by Municipal Waste, Toxic Holocaust etc. It's so fucking random and weird. How the hell? Hahaha! But fun of course. Always seemed like a really nice and cool guy, so that's a huge plus.

Same, but it really isn't. Currently holds 100% on RT with 62 reviews as well, which is pretty damn good for a movie like this.

@Bear Not bad! I'm not really in the mood for this type of thrashin' these days but it was okay for a spin.

Speaking of, I've just been listening to the new Skeletal Remains album for the first time today, solid stuff as expected! Also seems like I'm spinning a lot of old Jungle Rot albums lately, just can't get enough of that straightforward caveman-ish death metal, lol.

It's so good they finally covered this officially. I've seen them live several times now, and despite having original material that is just sublime, this cover has always been among their best live tracks. It's just to good, too catchy, too much fun.
