Can we just appreciate the fact that Trombe is still the top all-time contributor with more that twice the amount of points that 2nd place has? Talk about an unbeatable high-score.

Where do I start with Goatbed's discography
-
I cant live without MH! I am here since 2012!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know if there are none-japanese bands which play melodic hardcore with spoken parts like for example Catalysts or Fall of Tears etc.?
Or is it really only a japanese "thing"?

Where to find vkei news now like forum style.... MH was one of the biggest sources for vkgy...

No matter how hard I try, I can't get into Cardi B's music. I just get meangirl vibes from her music, and I'm sick of dealing with petty ass meangirls IRL, what makes you think I'm gonna handle a musician who makes it part of her music? lmao
-
@Himeaimichu Yeah I guess it doesn't hurt to try to keep up on things... just have to balance it well (no use in wasting your attention/energy for things that don't deserve it).

So uhm, System of A Down is back? With new music????

I appreciate the sentiment behind (putting aside immense personal differences and getting together to record, but I assume it was more a case of "oh hey I have this instrumental demo lying around, and oh hey you have one too" and) releasing music with some kind of message but these songs sound so incredibly dull and lifeless.

Omg emmurée's リバティabsolute brilliance, I'm in love. ❤🖤 And just every song compiled on 19992018 god tier.

I didn't label my BUK BUK & Tensai collab CD; now I can't find it. I'm gonna murder myself.

LMAO @ nega debuting the guitar noodling that Ratsu built his entire style around back in 2011 I'm crying

damlam really can't flop away soon enough, a good debut album + couple alright leading singles is already past an average vk bands disband point already.
-
Can you suggest names of VK bands that were growing up a following quite notably just before suddenly disbanding? I can think of Charlotte (しゃるろっと for the snobs).
-
Weirdest / most experimental / avantgarde VK band or release? What do you guys think?
-
Pretty sure that one indies-vk band who just did plain noise/industrial ambient stuff takes the cake, but dammit I can't remember their name now, lol (it was some usual French-like vk name & they did a photoshoot against a black backdrop and they possibly all had red hair, that's all I can gather from memory). Also Blam Honey probably.
edit: found them, it was Medue'obscur. Also nowhere near as unusual as I thought, lol.

When I suddenly remember that there still isn't any Starwave Records artist that reached at least a minimum level of relevance in the scene, I question myself how is it that this label still exists, and why would an artist decide to get signed to a house who hasn't managed to put out any decent production and market strategy for any of its members...

It's funny how at the time of MYV doing the Kvki Boiz stuff, it seemed to have huge mixed reception in the foreign communities. People were shocked by him having like mc hypemen and a DJ.
In hindsight, especially considering what he's done in the last decade, that period was so fucking inspired and unique ..

I agree so much with this. Although even back then I really loved what he did with the whole Kavki Boiz concept (it was even my first time seeing him live, so that whole era is really ingrained in me ).
