Is it too late to ask for a quality rip of D's "Tafel anatomie" DVD?
I came across some clips on YouTube, and man, that was an AWESOME performance to give! I'd love to get to watch it entirely and not blurred a bit!

Not even a bit of lazy, VK scene gave us our first Kizu copycat of the year. Whoever wrote this song -in the last 5+years I started to believe that almost every A-side from any band of the scene is ghost-written- did an actually great job, mimicking their metalcore guitars, cheese string background and traditional Japanese harmonies and melodies, all packaged with a dramatic-red inspired visual aesthetic. Even the PV seems very well shooted and edited, much above the standard of our average indie VK. But hey, in the case of gulu gulu, producing formulaic music in this sense isn't already bad news, because if you want to copy Kizu you'll have to put on your best effort and money on good songwriting, tech-skills, costumes, PV and live production. So, I think we can expect really good stuff from these guys... although it's not over the top to expect for them to develop a more genuine sound in the future.

Hey, does Black Gene actually counts as a forgettable project? I think I can remember them being something like a VK dream-team, being actually good musicians, having several releases and stuff. I came to really like some of them, too. Rame could look as a creep, but he is a really skilled bassist!

Sounds pretty interesting. I'd love someone will post at least a bit of information on each novel arc, as a guide to re-read the lyrics and find the story telled trough them. Btw, I love D, but all these albums covers seems pretty bad done. Is it me or D has been drawn into a low-budget production for the last 4-5 years?

The constant and drastic changes of look and sound that this band has had since they were born may tell that they've always been managed by a group of people that tries everything they have near them just to sell them as much as possible... For me, they are the prototype of what in this forum people call the "idolized" VK industry of the recent years.

Sure it's common, but something being "common" isn't necessarily and indicator of "goodness" for itself. In my case, it never came as something "good" to me the insistence of bandoman on using cringe-worthy EDM curtains. And sure, that could be a good indicator of the bands composing skills, along with other stuff that may show the lack of inspiration, like the rising dependence on formula-stuff for the whole work (music, visuals, lyrics, live performance, etc.). So, yeah, we can agree on oneself actually waiting for the release to have an opinion, but... man, look at the sloppy EDM and horrible video editing those PVs have. At least the hair and make-up work are pretty gorgeous... I really hope that the reason behind this is actually low budget. Btw, there are really few examples of actually well crafted and used EDM in the scene.

Wow, what a honesty strike. The marketing for VK bandomen themselves usually skip the set of personal reasons behind their motivations for making VK music, in favour of making them up worship material for bangya. So yeah, reading this is pretty surprising and sad...

Seems that somebody has created a channel exclusively for purposes of sharing Kiryu video stuff. I think there are some full DVDs splited into videos for each song of the setlist.
