I need that in my life! Sel'm is so damn good. They are probably the only VK band that is still around that I love as much as much as the first time I listened to them.
-
That was surprisingly different and kind of enjoyable...I had a hard time getting over the vocalist's voice though lol.

http://loudwire.com/dir-en-grey-kaoru-ep-album-scream-for-the-truth/ In a new interview with Kaoru he was really digging downy...that's pretty awesome! XD I can only hope that downy will somehow influence Diru's music, cause that would be sweet!

I still love it anyways I think that guy's youtube video kind of sucked dick, but I still agree that the show kind of blows chunks. Now let me rage against modern anime as a whole: Dear modern anime, TAKE SOME FUCKING RISKS! For the love of god don't set your show in a school setting! "oh, but it's not a school! You see, it's in the future where bunch of kids are together in this spaceship..." STILL PRETTY MUCH A FUCKING SCHOOL! "Well, you see, it's not about the school, it's about the fighting and the ridiculousness of it all." THEN WHY THE FUCK DO YOU NEED A SCHOOL?!?! I'LL TELL YOU WHY! IT'S BECAUSE YOU ARE TOO FUCKING PUSSY TO TAKE ANY REAL RISKS SO YOU STICK TO THE SAME GOD DAMN SETTINGS WE HAVE SEEN A MILLION TIMES OVER! Also, once you have passed the age of 21, it kind of become really gross when you realize that all of the ecchi shit is with chicks that are WAY to young. And come on, people are not that smart at that age. This is why stuff like Madoka was terrible just based on the age of the characters. Am I really supposed to think that a group of 14 year old girls have that mature of thought processes. I can't tell you a single 14 year old that I have met that acts as mature or are as intelligent as anime seems to make them out to be...not that they don't exist, but it is at least 1 in 1000 or something. Moral of the story: GIVE US SOME GROWN UP CHARACTERS THAT AREN'T IN SCHOOL!

Ah, SC...the memories. I have sunk soooooo many hours in to 1 and 2 playing with friends. SC2 was literally the only fighting game that I have ever played that I really spend any time trying to get good at (well, maybe SSB Melee, but I am not sure that fits in with what I am referring to as a fighting game). I used to play mainly Seung Mina and Yoshimitsu and my friend would use Talim. He played on PS2 and me on Gamecube and we would always own each other depending on who's house we were at because of the different controllers. SC really lost me at 4 which was just so bland imo. It had lost so much of it's fun...you could even say that its soul no longer burned (lololol). With 5 dropping (swapping?) so many characters and still keeping the utterly bland aesthetic I was just kind of done. I am not saying I will never play SC again, but I will say that I think that I would rather play SC2 any day of the week over 4 and 5.

Ordered my copy of the bluray I'm working on going through the series with my girlfriend right now...she wants to cosplay as Yang lol

Wouldn't it be shutting down and not disbanding?

Yeah. I played the crap out of GT5 (or at least the modes I liked) and I want to grab 6 when it comes out, but I have heard the rumours about it coming out for PS4 as well...but I really don't want to buy it in PS3 and be like "fuuuuuck" later. All I know is that Forza 5 look just plain amazing...I really want to play it >.<
-
Man, I really wish Gran Turismo 6 was coming out on PS4 and not PS3, it sure would make feel a whole lot better about being jealous towards Xbone and Forza 5.

Ok here's my full list: Japanese: the cabs Really solid indie rock with some math influence. I have heard there name tossed around a bunch but I didn't really give them a solid listen until their album that came out in January of this year. DAM Great alt/indie rock band. Their music feels really raw and pure, the screams are just fantastic, you can really feel the power and emotion behind them. Their album from this year, a.b.c no koten, is all I have heard from them so far, but I love it. eri-nyo indie pop that also includes a flute, I away sold from the first two songs off of their album from this year. Kinoko Teikoki Atmospheric post rock with female vocals. Their album from this year easily is making it on to my best of. Lament. Oh man! I am so happy I discovered this band while they are still going strong. They take up a similar space as the god and the death stars with their melancholic music, but they have a more old-school vibe to them. Matryoshka I found their 2012 album Laideronnette a couple months back and feel in love. I love the ambient mood they provide with the soft and air female vocals and light piano and violin. a picture of her Upbeat post/math rock with complex patterns of sounds that still manage to stay catchy. All I have heard from them is their album C from this year, but it is awesome. IT really filled the gap with having no new toe release this year. Rhycol. Another great indie rock band, but their vocalist reminds me a lot of Yomi from Nightmare, which is really odd but great at the same time. speaker gain teardrop Atmospheric and sprawling post rock. Great stuff. Stereo.C.K Tora from Sel'm and Kazu from DIMMDIVISION/the god and death stars. Need I say any more? Tam Tam Indie dub/reggae...I never thought that this would be something that I would like, but their album Polarize from this year won me over. Undead Corporation Metalcore touhou music. I discovered their 2012 album O.D. earlier this year which I really liked, and then their 2013 album Boukun came out a little bit ago and that impressed me a lot as well. the unknown forecast this band is indie rock, but something about them really gives me a bit of a VK vibe. I dig the hell out of it. Found them through their 2013 mini Auction. WAKUSEI ABNORMAL I have no idea how to describe this band, so I won't. Their mini from really early this year was beyond awesome...not sure if I am feeling their album that just came out nearly as much, though. International: Balmorhea Fraking fantastic post-rock band (though I am hesitant to call them rock). They tend to use a lot of more unorxodox instruments (violin and banjo come to mind) and a whole shit ton of acoustic guitars. I found them through their 2012 release "Stranger." I then dowloaded some of their other albums, and while they are good, Stranger is just fantastic. Deafheaven Already explained this one a few posts up. Sunbather is absolutely immense. The Evpatoria Report Post rock from Switzerland. They have been on hiatus since 2008 apparently, which is a real shame, since these guys seem to know how to make some of the best post rock I have ever heard. They easily moved to one of the top spots from post rock bands in my book. The Watermark High I first found the Watermark High through their mini Slow Motion Clarity which features some awesome electronic/post rock "chill-wave." I tracked down some of their other releases (one from 2009 which was WAY different and another from this year) but neither of them hold a candle to how great Slow Motion Clarity is. I found myself putting that album on repeat a lot at work.

Hello and welcome to the party Hope you stick around for a while!

The first band that comes to my mind is Deafheaven. Their album Sunbather was getting super hyped and I came in to it expecting not to like it. Dear lord was that album immense. It was good it pretty much all the right ways, the only track that I didn't care for much was a kind of "intro-ish."

My palmtree-hair dried all wavy and visual after the rain. Worth a mirrorshot. Rain or not, that is a fucking cute picture >.< You look like you are deep in thought XD Cool shot though!

Real artists use MS Paint.

Pretty sure that it is on PSN for $10, but it is just one of those games that really could use the HD boost (Just look at how great Dragon's Crown looks). I will probably get it here soon, but my backlog is so huge as it is XD

So I don't have a PS4, but I want to PS+ game that are coming to the PS4. The only way to "download" said PS+ games is to have an account on a PS4, which I do not. Make sense now? i.e. right now Resogun and Contrast are free for PS+ members, but since I don't have a PS4, I can not "download" them to save them for later, so I essentially miss out on them, which blows.
-
I have always wanted to play that game. I was really banking on a HD remake of it cause it deserves one (along with Muramasa) XD
-
Are you a PS+ member now? Cause perhaps you would have noticed a bit more as to how it works. PS+ games are offered to you for the life of our subscription, but only if you choose to download them. One you have "downloaded" them (all you need to do is start the download then cancel it), you can redownload them whenever you want. Usually games are available for about a month online, but once they stop featuring them, if you haven't downloaded them they are gone. Q: If a game rotates out of the collection, can I still download it free with my Plus membership? A: If you did not download the game when it was in the collection, you will not be able to secure your free download. However, if you downloaded when it was in the collection, but it’s no longer on your hard drive, you can visit the PlayStation Store and re-download it anytime, as long as you’re a member.
