Well, I can't stop you from leaving, but I would love to have you stick around. It's true that VK is the main focus of this site, but we really strive to have musical diversity here. In fact, I would be willing to say that most of the staff members listen to more music outside of the VK genre than in it (I think the staff best of list for this year does a good job of demonstrating that). As far as uploading Touhou stuff here, I know there are many members that actually appreciate it (including myself).

I very much agree. lynch. seems like they pull from their best songs a lot there days, wish is good, but it ends up with a lot of that same-ness. I don't think it would have included it in my best of if I had non-Japanese releases...but honestly I still think it is a really solid release and I had no problems voting for it. For sure. I didn't vote for Praparat, but I still found it a very enjoyable release, but hardly Boris's best. It does come off and feeling very disjointed though and that is one of it's largest weaknesses.

Really glad you are liking some of the stuff on this list! I am pretty happy with how it had turned out so far and we still have a lot of great stuff coming.

I used to bike around on campus all the time with my technics rp-dh1200 headphones...and I am the kind of person who bike fast and dangerously lol (though my campus is not what I would call a bustling city). One time I was going down a set of stairs and my headphone fell off and I rode over them...nothing more than just a scrape. Man, those Technics were built like tanks.

Woooo! First time in a while I feel like we have someone new who's musical list isn't a ton of VK artists. We're really happy to have the diversity here (especially when you have such great tastes in music like yourself).
