Lol Saku, yes I only watched the first season, thus I did a review for the first season. I have every intentions of watching the second season as well. 5/10 isn't a -shit- score imo, it's directly in the middle. Not good, not bad. Overall Silver Spoon was a pretty good mindless watch and provided for some decent escapism...the perfect stuff to watch while unwinding before bed. I am going to be hard on slice of life stories though because most of the time what they are doing is pretty basic. And yes, I would say that Silver Spoon is one of the best of its kind. Hopefully the second season fixes the problem of all the other characters being bland by giving them some extra dimension. As far as finding anime overall to be average to bad, yeah, I totally agree with that. I would say most stuff that is coming out right now is pretty bad. But I don't think it is because I am tired of anime, I just think I am more critical than most, or at least I am more critical than I used to be. A lot of the stuff I used to be able to enjoy in high school doesn't fly with me anymore...I would like to think it is because I have matured lol. BTW, the best Slice of Life anime in a long time is Usagi Drop

Are you running windows on a bag of doritos? lol And I mean you could at least run in windows basic which imo still looks a hell of a lot better...and if game performance is what you care about, most game switch you over to the basic theme anyways in full screen mode. Edit: Not that it matters what I think about how your desktop looks at all lol. If you enjoy it, then I guess that is all that matters XD

FFX was (and still is) my favorite FF. I feel like I am one of the few that doesn't care for the ATB system and FFX's battle system mixed with the sphere grid just works for me perfectly. It is the only RPG I have played through more than once other than Golden Sun on the GBA.

Just got FFX HD (lets face it, nobody cares about X-2) and I am a little bummed. The packaging makes my OCD rage (I just want a standard case with the limited edition stuff, not a bullshit book-case-thing) and I can't fit it on my shelf...and some of the trophies are dumb as shit. You are seriously going to make me dodge 200 lightening strikes and complete the sphere grid with ALL the characters?!?! Yeah, no thanks.

I can't speak for the servers overall, but my experience was flawless.

Right now I am just keeping on working my way through Gran Turismo 6. It still feels like just an expansion pack to 5, but I still love it all the same. Other games that I am working on: Brother: A Tale of Two Sons - this one got a lot of praise but I am not enjoying it all that much. I find the controls to be clunky at best, and while the mood and visuals are interesting, the story is pretty blah. Here's to hoping it picks up. Titanfall - played a decent chunk at a friend's and really really enjoyed it. I still need to pick it up, but I kinda want to get a new gpu first :/

Welcome to the forum! We're always glad to have some more old school fans here...though not many of us can say we have been in since the mid 90's lol. I really started listening to Jrock in 2003 or so...damn, has it really been over 10 years? XD If you ever have any questions though, feel free to ask anyone with a blue or red name! Linh beat me to it lol.

Just finished Attack on Titan. In the end I felt like it was fairly average but enjoyable. Great setting, interesting plot, mixed character (Eren being terrible), god-awful pacing, and a couple (kinda) plot holes that bugged me. That and the ending...though I knew that was coming lol. I can't say I would really recommend it, but you could do faaaaar worse and it is still probably the best anime of 2013.
