I'm interested to know more about those Shinya and Toshiya issues?! I thought the DEG members don't associate much with each other, precisely to avoid this kind of problem, so I wonder what happened ^^

When I got into vk and Japanese music overall, I was in high school, I start to get some real friends once I asked my parents to put me in Japanese classes, there were people who liked japanese music there, I also had friends online, since I've always lived in small Latin America countries, it's not like there are big chances of finding big groups who enjoy good music at all lol, and I remember in my class, some classmates who were not into Jmusic found gackt interesting, and they thought he was handsome I remember lol so I was successful getting some people into Jmusic thanks to Gackt's good looks XDDD but overall, some of my bests friends I met online, they were from other countries, later when I got old and became a working adult, I had to travel to one of those countries often due to work (Mexico) and we met in person, and it was awesome, last year we even went together to the Plastic Tree concert in Mexico and it was a great experience, so I am very grateful to Internet and the wonderful people that I've been able to meet through it.

I've only done cosplay of Kirito in the past, and many times in my live I've had haircuts inspired in Kirito's hairstyles throughout the year, this is one of the reasons I usually wear kinda of short hair. Also I loved the suits and shirts that Yasu from Janne da Arc wore at some point (around Will and shirubia singles), and thats when I also started to wear a lot of shirts and suits xD and now it stayed like that as part of my style, so both Kirito and Yasu I guess xD

Ohh I didn't know Gackt had been invited to the Malice mizer reunion concert and that he refused! ^^ now that's interesting gossip, do you have more info on that? I'd love to know more about Gackt's rejection and if Mana had any comments lol

Yeah, that's exactly what happens to me, I'm very skeptical about paying for something I don't own.. I use steam as well, but when it comes to games I don't mind, I usually don't play the game ever again after I finish it. But when it comes to music, I think there's no comparison to opening the CD case, go through the booklet, put the CD and play, there is nothing that compares to this enjoyment (imo haha), and for getting into new music, I usually rely on Youtube, I prefer watching promo videos and then decide if I want to buy discs lol, but I think this depend on each person.

hahaha yes, Plastic Tree is around forever xD they release singles every year and albums almost every year, and everything so far is awesome, the vocalist (Ryutaro Arimura) also started his solo career and he already has 2 solo albums and concerts released in DVD too ^^ I particularly love his second album, it's really great. I didn't know about the other artist by the name of baroque xD I haven't been able to get into spotify, it's still difficult for me to understand that concept xD I guess i'm really old after all LOL

haha I also wonder how they managed to put those videos in the web. Homestead was a web hosting service, and I remember I found some websites there that posted very bad quality Jmusic PVs, and they were split in smaller pieces xD so you had to download each piece and then join them with winrar or some other similar program. So from bands that I'm following since those times, there's Plastic Tree, LUNA SEA, Dir en Grey, GLAY (not vkei anymore) and baroque. There's also the musicians from former bands that have projects that I follow today, for example after PIERROT disbanded (my former favorite band) the band Angelo was formed, which is my current favorite band. Also after Raphael disbanded, rice was formed (disbanded too but the singer has a new project), aki former vocalist of Laputa has a very good solo career with some good music. After Janne da Arc disbanded, Acid Black Cherry was born too which is very good, after disbandment of ICEMAN project, the keyboardist has very nice projects (mostly Jpop though). Right now I'm also digging Alice in Menswear (former La'cryma Christi guitarist and former Maschera vocalist); and from the newer bands I really love RAZOR, Blu-billion and The Thirteen. ^^

Welcome to the forum fellow granny/veteran, I'm also on the way-above-30ties-table, I rather not dwell into how far I'm into the 30ties now XD but I can relate to all the things mentioned like dial-up connections and downloading videos with very low quality that for me were the equivalent of HD 1080 XD my sources were mostly homestead jmusic pages I happen to find (I think homestead doesn't even exist anymore). It's good to have more old vkei fans join the forum so we can reminisce about how things were in terms of vkei in those times xD I hope you find some new bands to enjoy, i'm still following my old bands from the past and going into jpop/mainstream jrock too.

I just cannot resist, I'm totally defeated hahaha, so I choose Kirisame hoho wo nurashite (霧雨頬を濡らして）！ Thanks, doing this was very fun ^^

also, people wouldn't be able to do the cool hand furi choregraphy or whatever its called if they were using cellphones to take pictures. I always find annoying when in concerts in other countries people are more worried about recording taking pics than actually enjoying the show, so I also appreciate this.

I would never leave any fandom just because there are "bad" people or something... First, the "fandom" should be a lot more about the thing you enjoy/like rather than the other people who also like it. Plus, there's "bad" people everywhere, in any fandom, group, circle of people, as long as there is people, there will be people with whom you can make a connection, and others not, some good people, some not so much etc. About Mejibray, I haven't listened too much from them, from what I've listened to, it sounded too basic and not very interesting, so I just moved over to the next bands xD but I don't "hate" them, couldn't care less. xD

The new PV and song are awesome!! I love their looks, michi with the hat looks so cool, kinda reminded me of Guniw tools but more visual kei style, and Koji looks amazing as always

The chosen Yumi Matsutouya's song is in my opinion her best song, I recommend everybody to check out that song, I'm very excited to listen to a cover of this song. The musician list also seems very interesting

What about "La'mule"? I was never able to take it seriously... I think about a donkey xD there's also "Anli Pollicino", sounds like a disease name.. "Cocklobin" is definitely embarrassing as previously mentioned lol ," Mongol800" is very random too, there's "LEGO BIG MORL" wth is this name, maybe they are lego fans? xD and "LUV'ra-Doll" I don't even know what to say about this one, just plain strange.. hehe

hahahahahaha that was priceless xD gotta love Gackt trying to troll everybody on april's fool; but i'm sure some people would be willing to pay that price for some new Gackt material XD plus the taxes of course
