Yup all well said. Especially that you point out about the harsh vocals. Tsuzuku historically has some of the best growling in VK, his gutturals are similar to Akane. On tracks like Apocalypse or that Gaichuu cover it's obvious, but current MEJIBRAY seems to have practically forgotten about death growls? There was a LITTLE bit of it On Venoms, Sounded good but Seems like Tzk falls back on his patented jaguar-howl in every song now. A trend I hadn't noticed until the THEATRICAL ROSES live DVD. Makes it seem like he's done damage to his voice, his high shrieks are different now, mostly engulfed by this cat-howl he does. I actually like ALL of these aforementioned harsh vocal sounds but not at the expense of one another.. Yes, som VanessA vocals would be so pleasing.

Dude as beautiful as the limited covers are, I'm gonna use the regular edition cover because as usual I will take a thumbnail of original artwork over a full image of just bandmen shots (Which MEJ does eeveryyy time haha) XD They are gorgeous though damn

It kind of irks me when MiA refuses to look any different. I really liked him with the long straight hair and hood. XD anyway the chorus is still not doing much for me but I cant really tell how much of this IS chorus. I'm really into the nature of the song though, the chaotic nature of their recent b-sides like on the Nepenthes and Eiki singles. but hopefully more focused since its a PV-feature title track.. but.. can we ever trust the boys to "focus" ? XD

Haha I really like the verse(?) in this? The guitar is interesting The PV and look are fucking awesome, VENOMS was kind of really basic on video. The chorus hasn't struck me really, I will try again when I wake up more

This is why I really consider DOGMA to just be one long ass song. ^^ As much as I see the dynamic of whittling down the track list to more focused like this (I do this often myself with albums) there are still sections from almost ALL of the missing songs that it feels a shame to forget about. I think in this sense the album is actually smartly put together, there are still no songs here that when playing, I think "OH FUCK NO" *skipskipskip* Which is something I found myself doing a LOT on Beautiful Deformity. More so than on DIVISION and probably even TOXIC. Could have used some SEs. but considering how Nihil turned out, they don't seem to have much in the way of ideas for them, shame. Malformed Box was actually tiiiight.

I'm only kidding haha, I'm actually in the camp of thinking they don't sound like ero Lycaon at all, other than the sheer presence of jazz band instruments. I was just waiting for you to personally smite these claims as only you can XD
