I quite like Reminiscence and Anemone, I also prefer Chronos over the last few title tracks they've released!

Have you heard the preview of their new single "the silent one" on Twitter? They are hyping it absurdly and saying it's gonna be heavier than within the void

Just replying to your second paragraph since the first is purely down to personal tastes. I agree. This song is not that good. I feel like after they left PSC, they don't know exactly where to go musically. They started off promising with their 1st two mini albums, but then it seems they haven't been able to recapture that magic. They've had good songs but none of them really stuck with me after a few plays. This won't stick with me after 1, but I still have hope. 
 
On another note, I missed the reason why they decided to go back to alice nine instead of being a9.

By the sound of it "mymymy" is going to be my sh*t. I wish it was the lead song.

There's one guy making these top PV videos on youtube on a monthly basis and when you get through one of them you'll think "I never heard of any of these fucking bands" and they sometimes actually look like they got money behind them as well. 
 
 
fantastic resource to see what's going on the scene as long as you know what you're getting into. of course most of the bands sound "generic" because the amount of bands is absurdly high and that's how this music always sounds like anyway with slight variations.

like literally no other country other than japan does this and it's dumb as hell

I also find br00tal stuff to be mediocre the majority of times, but Cazqui's work with symphonic arrangments, contrapunctual guitar and bass lines, harmonic modulations, heavy emphasis on melody, etc. makes the easy-tiring blast beats, guitar chugging and screaming instead very pleasing and interesting. I think thats the reasong why I, who always was suspicious about anything br00tal, came to like Nokubura a lot back when they were still active with their original line-up...

This is some of the most bland, cookie-cutter, inoffensive piece of copy-paste djenty-hip yawnfest I've heard in some time. A ghostwriter is making hella money somewhere producing all these weirdly similar bands with weirdly similar (and somehow totally unremarkable) songs.

I'll follow Tenten to the edge of the Earth. He's my favorite. I just like going along for the ride. If anything, he has a great discography of banger songs. Honestly, I don't even care about the other members. I'm there for Tenten.

I hate that chorus part. It sounds so contrasting that I can't fully get into this song. I thought it was a different song at first.   Other than that, they have potential and I enjoyed everything outside of that.

Their first live will be on 2019.06.05 at Takadanobaba AREA. They will distribute 2 songs off their first mini album 「蟻地獄」(Arijigoku). It will be available at Toukyou's Like an Edison (05.26) and Nagoya/Osaka's Like an Edison (05.27).
