I agree on a lot of points and I start to believe these conversations are going a lot deeper then a lot of other VK band fans would go haha (which I mean possitive it means GAZE 'fans' are being forced to think about a lot of elements) I understand a lot of the points people point out in this topic but for me it is a little bit different. The chord progressions in choruses of a lot of gaze songs (which is like a low chord a high chord, a higher chord then the low one and then again a higher chord of the high chord) is being used a LOT indeed. But for me that is just the 'GAZE' sound. I like it that those same kinda chord progressions come forth in a lot of different songs. Ballads, Heavy songs, dramatic songs. All the songs have a different kind of feel but with the same GAZE elements. I get that some people find this repetitive. But for me that is just the GAZE sound. The same is with Kai his drums. the fast (kick snair kick kick snair) like in sludgy cult. the end of tomorrow never dies, it is being used in Venomous spider, and so on and so on. It dates all the way back to akai one piece and miseinen. Whenm t i hear this for me it is like that is the GAZE sound and I wouldn't like them to change it because they have used it so often. Also the choruses of GAZE never have dissapointed me and I like every song they have made. But this being said I get some people would find it anoying that when you listen an overall setlist of gazette you will indeed hear a lot of the same kind of things. For me it works but like I said i get people who may find this annoying. I personally can't wait to have more GazettE songs to listen to and I really can't wait till August ! Also maybe a factor and I think this is being said a lot is the harsh record company deals. It is known that Japanese bands (esspecially when it is a band that earns the companies a lot of money) have to work beyond there limits. Sometimes it results in bands not getting the chance to evolve and stay in a ceritain drag to deliver. For GazettE I think they pull it off but it also results a lot of band going on a break or disbanding. And let´s hope the GazettE isn't going to do one of the two any time soon.

refering to the topics above. How is it bad that Ruki has been writing lyrics and vocal lines in the same sort of key. It's not really Ruki his fault to sing in a certain kind of key you have to blame the person that has invented music. Songs are going to be in the same key that is not really that weird. A key is based on 7 notes. There are in total 12 notes and how many music in the world is written with those notes. I bet you can't number that. If a song is bein written in the same key so be it there are a lot of songs in the same key. Choosing certain notes within that key to write a vocal line me be in the likes of Ruki. Maybe ruki likes singing an A after a C# okay so what it is important to write songs that people like moreover writing songs that sound unique. And again this is indeed a topic concerning the new album and to spectate about what people maybe think will be in this album. Not to bash early work. I get that you maybe concerned about the sound because there are things you don't like about the previous work but don't start about the key he is singing in. Or do you want him to come up with some crazy vocal line that is flat with the rest of the song? Again my opinion is not golden just saying what I am thinking when reading the comments. And I don't hold your opinion less important

I reallyyyy can't waitttttt for dogma. And reading people's comments kinda pisses me off. I mean i know everyone can have there own opinion about everything and all but I have the feeling people are just bashing on GAZE because they have become such a big band. Talking about the music like it lacks something and about TOXIC and DIVISION being not as good as the albums they brought out before. I hate to say this (I really do) But being an (very) experienced musician and studying and playing there songs (from the official band scores). If there is one thing GAZE hasn't done is brought out albums that aren't that good. Sure you have the freedom to dislike albums but bashing on the music within that albums is just wrong. NIL and Stacked rubbish where great albums but the music wasn that great. DIM matured sound wise. But with TOXIC and DIVISION they really got the hang on writing great songs. Beautifull deformity confirmed that. Playing and studying those last 3 albums just blew my mind on how 'genious' they composed the those albums. Recent interviews even confirmed that some of the members of GAZE didn't even really knew what they where doing untill DIM and playing old songs at recent concerts they even had to change some parts because they didn't musicially match the rest of the song. Ruki his vocals have become so muchhhh better (esspecially his screams) and hearing some of the old songs at recents covers I just can listen only to the 'new' versions. I have been following GAZE ever sinds DISORDER (which for me has been most part of my life) And I really am sooo happy to see where they are since then. So if you don't like TOXIC or DIVISION because it's not what you prefer sound wise go ahead and say that. But don't say the songs are 'bad' or 'bland' because comming from an experienced musician *again hate to say that* those albums are insanely good and there is not one VK band out there that has matured and became soooo good musically wise like GAZE Again can't wait till BD!!! Also I heard from people that went to the concert that the new song reminded them of Dim scene which I find awesome, a Dark ballad.

can't wait to hear this and about song titles come on it's not like the song names they use now and other bands have used are really original i mean Regret it's not like they've stole that from the GazettE or anything. You should count how often the name Mirror is used. (Gackt, -Oz-, D'espairsray)

haha awsome zero on bass! It's not like he is doing anything after D'espairsRay disbanded And Hizaki on guitar wauw. But my oppinion even though it's awsome is that it is kinda weird that Hizaki plays the music Gackt writes. The songs of Gackt are awsome and I m a big fan. But the music is kinda easy compared with Versailles haha. Hizaki may get bored haha. But still Awsome

wow this should be great! I can't wait to see/hear the project which includes Aoi on vocals. I know he has a great singing voice. He sings along on reila and on shiver and on many more songs, also there is alot of backstage footage of him singing and playing a guitar. I really can't wait to hear what kinda music it will be! I hope there is going to be footage of the bands

he's composing most of their stuff afaik, and I don't really like Uruha or Aoi's input; Reita's composing parts are almost non-existant too. If the band popularity starts declining, Ruki's gonna jump off that ship and star cashing in himself. About this, ruki going solo will probably never happen they've said that if they were to disband that it would be ruki, uruha and reita their last band. So i don't see ruki going solo. Also the song it's base comes from a member but it's not like one of them makes a whole song. They are together the GazettE and think up songs with eachother. So I don't get people telling that they like one of the member's input but doesn't likes the rest Just saying

Yay a new Gaze Single =) I think I'm the only one who liked al the previous singles: Before I Decay, Shiver, Red, Pledge and Vortex. I like what they've done with their sound. I think from NIL till now their sound has inproved a lot. But I have the feeling they had a contract that they had to do a couple of singles, and that they want to finish the contract so they can disband. I hope it's not like that because it would be shame if a nother great band disbanded. But for now I can't wait to hear this new single=)

I kinda liked rouge and can't wait to here this new mini album. but i hate what they've done with the new look they kinda remind me of alice nine or something like that so I hope their sound stays heavy
