A band that sounds more like a host club.... >_>
  4. doombox

It really irks me when people judge why someone is attached to a band. Everyone likes them for different reasons. Stop thinking your taste is better than someone else's. News flash: It's not. You don't get attached to bands and the music they create? Good for you. But when I love a band and find something special about their music, for whatever reason I deem fit, it's sad to know I'll never hear new music from that group again. Not in the same way it was created by that line up. Yes, we all know indies bands have a high likelihood of breaking up but that doesn't mean people shouldn't support them and believe in what they are doing. I actually find it sad how cold and detached some people can be.

    WHAT?!! Oh maaaaaan. *throws things*

Czecho is always adorable. That band just makes me happy every time I hear them.
  7. Oh hell yes, this sounds GREAT! ♥♥♥
  8. Someone obvs didn't read the last Dir en grey reviews.... This song is a total regression in their writing abilities to me. But I'm hoping its a one-off ~heavy~ song and they'll go back to more melodic stuff asap.

Seconding KTHEAT. They should have had all the members help write songs a long time ago. I'm always happy to see a bad that could have easily gone more pop, chose to go heavier instead with practically all of their electronic influence thrown to the wayside. They sound gritty and fresh again. I love it. Check: The Way Down Shizune - Le Voyageur Imprudent Highly melodic Italian screamo. This was my first introduction to the band but it quickly turned me into a fan. I just love their duality with lots of atmospheric distortion and effects to cloud up their instrumentation but the delivery ends up being intensely emotional and not just your stereotypical angst. Check: Vesper Too Close To Touch - Nerve Endings A rather young band, on the trendier side of emocore, the Sleeping With Sirens and The Word Alive guest features kind of tip you off, but I don't think this album needed it. This band is really good and seem to have the M.O. that they want to be taken seriously as song writers. Which I can appreciate. The album is strong but the title track really sold me. I think it's great. Check: Nerve Endings Edit: I've wanted to jump in this thread before but just ended up too busy the last couple of months. Hopefully you guys keep it up. I love reading it!

Did anyone say Kiwamu yet? lol. And basically everyone in Nocturnal Bloodlust...
  12. doombox

Moved this into the request forum for you.

I agree, I wished ETF stayed with the original line up too. ;~; <3 I'll send you a message with some Japanese bands recommendations! And yes, you worked the multiquote perfectly! To talk to people in the forums, you can do just as you are doing in this thread, quote them or post normally if they have posted the most recently. For a private coversation (PM) you can hover your mouse pointer over their username, and a button will appear under their avatar that says "send message". You can also do this by going directly to their profile (clicking their username).
  14. I'll make sure I play his music again in the next FFA plug session, he's fun electronic pop rock. I also posted his last single here.
  15. theCharmPark 1st Full Album "Reverse & Rebirth" will be available May 2nd, 2015. Tracklist TBA.... Teaser: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENQffdqWPgc&feature=youtu.be

Those samples aren't too bad. Worth keeping an eye on them.
  17. doombox

Glad to see they aren't slowing down at all.
  18. I already have guns and some food and water stockpiles (my family runs a food pantry with the local church). I'm grabbing the family (luckily there's less than 10 of us total) and my dog, stealing a boat and riding down the coast until I find some nice island, that's hopefully much less populated or even zombie free, and start a fisherman's life.
  19. doombox

No problem! Yes ETF are maybe not so popular in some circles, but I like them a lot, and Falling in Reverse as well. And a lot of other bands in that genre (Pierce The Veil, Chiodos, Memphis May Fire... I also like a lot of Japanese bands of this genre I'd be happy to talk about. lol) Well you mastered the first step. Make a post. XD As @beni has said, you can use the "MultiQuote" button at the bottom of every post to reply to multiple people in one thread. Then they will all show up in the reply box at the bottom when you go to reply as you usually would. They will all be down there. Next it all depends what you're in the mood for. The header at the top of the site always has new reviews and monthly song recommendations, as well as the chat room. Forums are just that and there are all kinds from artist news to music and general topics. There's a place here to talk about basically anything you could think of. A little look around should help you get the idea.

Or you know, people could actually have liked vistlip for a rather long time because some people like mellow pop rock. js.

Vikings has a killer DOP. Whoever it is is amazing. I've seen lots of good reviews on How to get away with murder, but it looks like a drama? And I don't fair to well with dramas that don't lean more on the suspence/thriller side of the genre. I'm usually attracted to action, horror, sci-fi, or fantasy shows. But there could always be room of an exception.

In all honesty, it's probably residual Tora bias carrying over. Ryuga isn't a bad singer, but I just haven't heard anything I found special out of him yet.
  23. doombox

Ah nooo, my girls. ;; You both will be missed.

Oh this is exciting. I am only familiar with Luke Cage (ironically enough I was never into super heroes when I actually collected comics but the movies and shows I love) but I'm be eager to check them all out in the future! Nice to know there's a lot coming down the pipe. Agent Carter was great. I hope we get more based on her character. Even if it's another mini series at some point. Also good to know the rest of Daredevil is worth watching. I'm just trying to make time for everything so it's a couple eps here~ a few more there~. I'm already like 3 eps behind on Vikings (so many spoilers =__=; ) but I got ahead on the Game of Thrones leaks so... Haven't heard of Banshee. I'll look into that one.

I think means they don't agree on the terminology. That they find it an insult to call 8 songs a full album. And it's been argued that it comes down to how long each of those songs are. So if those 8 songs run longer than 30 minutes, I'd say it's a full album.
