Also curious who your faves were before you left. Maybe we can build some recommendations off of them. I used to be into A7X and BFMV pretty big a few years back, too. I kinda moved off into other genres since then but I have fond memories of seeing both bands live a few times. I don't really like spotify so that feature has always been a source of annoyance for me. I keep forgetting that it makes previewing tracks there impossible if you don't have a spotify account. It feels like a forced partnership... like google+ and youtube.... But that layout is looking pretty spiffy. Hopefully they work out the kinks with beta because I'd like to see those profile pages soon. ^^ Thanks for the screenshots!

You can't go wrong with FACT. That's good stuff right there. Crossfaith - "Quasar" gets me pretty damn hype. EDIT: I put it behind a spoiler tag so I don't bog down the loading time for the thread... >>;;

Seconding that Mucc sentiment. They are amazing. High energy, sound better than their CDs, good crowd interaction. Honorable mention for Duel Jewel. Even if you find their music boring, they are intense live. It really surprised me.

Updated my nuzlocke tumblr. Pentos and Nyda also have some babs and only 1 got to survive. That'll be included in the next chapter, but I was behind on introducing Ammock so... Also is anyone else excited for the first Flight Festival since the new reg window that starts tomorrow?! Water Flight's Wavecrest Saturnalia is gonna be a lot of fun. Festival familiars and apparel, plus flight raffles, new skins for sale in the marketplace plus chest drops in the coliseum. If anyone needs help figuring out how the festival currency works (it's separate from normal treasure and gems) just make a post or PM me (ign: demiseandkiss) and I'll be happy to explain it.

It's a good time to bring up a theme if you'd like one. I'm open for whatever.

Snowpiercer (2013) : I wanted to see this one because I love me some dystopian future, sci-fi last-of-humanity -esque films. The cast is amazing and diverse, stretching across big names from America, Europe, and Korea. The action and suspense is well done, the fight choreography doesn't get boring or redundant (I could have done with less guns, just because you would think ricochet bullets or running out of ammo would be a major factor. But it is conveniently forgotten for the sake of pushing the plot.) A gripe I have is the character development feels like an afterthought, when I felt it should have been the driving force. There are also slight bits of comedy that are apparently director Joon-ho Bong's signature but don't sit well because the characters don't particularly have senses of humor (but the lack of humor suits this kind of film to me). So a few things may have been "lost in translation" but overall, if you want a film that's gonna make you eat that entire bowl of popcorn and cheer when certain characters reach their final destinations (see what I did there? XD) then this is a good movie for a night in with friends. Trailer: EDIT: I meant to comment on that Leto picture too. LOL. I don't mind his look as much as I just hate his tattoos. They need to fire whoever thought that looked okay. OTL

If this was a demo, they should have stuck with this sound. This is nice. Good way to go out.

Sounds like we only got the melodic bit and there's heavy stuff they aren't sharing so much. I just hope the heavy parts are equally as good.

I think Ghostly Me was the first thing I heard from them, and I love everything else I've heard since. So I'm excited for this too.
