  1. I think they literally just became everyone's favorite Artery band over night. lol. All the American responce has been overwhelmingly positive. I'm so happy for them.
  2. I'm still trying to process the new HNIB and Crossfaith and between these new coldrain and Crystal Lake videos I'm gonna explode!

      That new Crystal Lake track completely shits over HNIB's whole EP, haha... holy fuck, what a tune!

      LOL it does. I still love the new HNIB but the Crystal Lake track is JUST THAT FUCKING GOOD. DESERVING OF ALL THE CAPS. I've been listening to Prometheus on repeat pretty much all day. So so good. ;_;

    Basically my Japanese ver of Isles and Glaciers, lol. Vocal: Taka (ONE OK ROCK) Vocal: Masato (coldrain) Screams: Ryo (Crystal Lake) Prog: Teru (Crossfaith) Guitar + Backing Vocal: Ryosuke (a crowd of rebellion) Guitar: Pablo (Pay money To my Pain) Bass: Makoto (HER NAME IN BLOOD) Drums: Eiji (FACT)
  4. Awww yeahhhh. Was waiting for this. <3

    "I honestly can't even see why American metalcore enthusiasts would enjoy this " Maybe I didn't choose the best way to word my point, but it should be obvious that when you say you don't know why someone or anyone likes something (with the implication being that it's because it's bad), you're policing others for liking it. I just don't understand why people seem to do this all the time. Especially on MH. What's so hard about simply saying you don't like it and not trying to speak for an entire group? Whatever. I wasn't trying to derail this thread. It's my own pet peeve, I guess. Carry on.
  6. doombox

    Oh well. People have different opinions. You don't have to act like no one is allowed to like it. I never understand that. I think its got a lot of good stuff on it if you can get over the genre change.

    All of the above. I buy all three media types, depending on what band it is and how much I like them. Also convenience and how I'm doing financially at the time will factor in. I find digital purchases are my most common. They're the most affordable, give me pretty much instant gratification (no waiting on shipping or shipping costs for that matter). If the band is one of my favorites or I am a fan of their artwork and lyrics, etc I will collect CDs (and recently vinyl) from them. But to me I view these as collectibles. Much like t-shirts, DVDs, cheki, etc. They come secondary.

    So they had Tenten, then left. They're bringing back Sin, for one day. Can we just get a vocalist, please? I'm starting not to care who it is anymore. Just get one.
  9. doombox

    Dammit, Sin! D;
  10. doombox

    Me too. I liked the last release.
  12. doombox

    It's only a temporary upload, do you expect DVD quality or something?

  16. If it's a long standing band, I prefer listening to a best of. But this is usually only after I've done what @yakihiko mentioned and generally watched a pv or heard a song that sparked my interest in the first place. If it's a fairly new band or there are no best ofs, I'll gravitate to whatever their most recent release was. Because I find it really discouraging to learn bout a band and find I only liked their early work. I'd rather be on board with their new stuff or spend that time finding another band who is currently making music I enjoy.
  17. Too bad that one is live limited. ;n;

    For post rock we might have to adjust the general video length cap, though... I'm sorry I've been MIA for the last couple of weeks. I miss you guys too. ;; <3

    I was checking the old list (sorry I haven't been updating it, btw) And it seems like we got it mostly covered with the exception of Lounge/bossa nova post rock/shoegaze youtubers Any of these sounding interesting? I wouldn't mind a post rock/shoegaze session.
