    Two words: Thrift Store.

    I feel the inspiration for a lot of the younger bands is different than it was for the older bands. Which is a totally natural thing to happen. So those of us who got into it a long time ago or were attracted to the older bands when we came into the scene may feel like there isn't as much to choose from nowadays. Especially when a lot of us are limited in our exposure due to living so far away from the source. I have ups and downs, a few years ago I was really losing interest in vk but then recently I've been finding more bands that have brought me back. So it's become more of a waiting game for me at this point.

    I didn't think this would get better but then they added Takeshi Ueda. *-*
  4. I might be into this depending on the vocal.
  5. As long as it fits with the song/band's atmosphere, I'm good with it.
  6. doombox

    Awesome!
  7. doombox

    I didn't know too much about them but I really enjoyed one of their singles.

    I liked "Secret Mode" so I'm looking foward to this.
  9. Huzzahhh, One Ok Rock was magical and I got autographs. Life is complete... until coldrain in December.

    Haha yeah that makes sense, I've been curious how these new songs go over live. I miss his old stage antics. His stint with Kavki Boiz is probably my favorite era still.

    I'd go to that show. Lol if Miyavi is playing a more electronic set like he was a few years back, probably goes well with the others.
  12. doombox

    Damn, that's a bigger list than I was hoping for.

    I only like a few colors with it so far, but with the expanded color wheel coming, might get a few more. I never mess with baldwin, but I probably should start. Even if I don't like them much probably could sell some.

    Thanks for clarifying. When I read the part about them privatizing videos for partners who don't subscribe to red, I must have misinterpreted it to mean they would become part of the additional red-only content. It still makes me curious why some channels are pulling their videos from American viewership, and how many other channels will follow suit.

    To my understanding, and maybe I'm getting the wrong impression but it sounds like they are going to force anyone who is a YouTube partner into subscription and anyone who wants to watch that content will also have to now get a subscription. That's not adding value to me. If they kept the new features like Google music or whatever it's called, and the ad free experience as part of a "red subsciption" that doesn't force their current user base into paying for things they don't want or won't use, then I could get behind it. But from what I've read it just feels like they want to force people into paying to watch their favorite channels now.

    I totally get that they need to make a profit, but I feel like re-purposing the entire website to something that turns its back on the main reason people enjoyed the site in the first place is just bad business. The trick is to create a RELEVANT value and reason to throw money at the site. Not create a bunch of features that have nothing to do with most people's use of the site and hold it hostage until you get money from them. That's just a good way to make people walk away, imo.

    I'm gonna try to get all of the accents, even though I am on the fence about them. I feel like maybe with the right dragons I'll like them more later... i dunno. How are you feeling about poison/toxin?
  18. Thanks for that! Sounds great. I'm even more hype to see them now. ;;
  19. doombox

    Sounding good so far!
  20. doombox

    Yep. Need it. All my faves. ;_;
  21. This sounds just like how Kazuki from Crossfaith's paralysis started. Only it ended up being a much worse problem.
  22. Number one way to make your fans worry: Don't tell them what's wrong. But I hope he recovers soon.
  23. I took it as sarcasm. Like, it's so non-offensive and random that it becomes offensive to the actual punk movement.
  24. I'm not familiar, anyone care to explain why it's more offensive?
