I compared single to the "new" version and it's very little difference. Very little as in, almost none Remains of Mind even has the effect on his vocals like the original... Feels like a waste of time to re-record the same song, just with your new "improved" vocals. I'm still probably going to buy the cd because I like Salome and I never got the single + I want the Hora and Ken tracks, but over all this release feels kind of meh to me.
  2. I wouldn't change my opinion about a band because of the fans, but I can get a more negative image of them if I already think bad of them and then it shows their fanbase is completly fantarded too. Some fans are really interesting to talk to and exchange feelings towards a band with, but some fans are just pure annoying...

I'm going to get A version, sorry Kaya but your song doesn't sound that tempting (at least not compared to a Morioka song). I'm a bit disapointed by the fact he said there would be remakes of the songs, but the previews sounds just the same as the original...

Oo, you made me intersted I'm also a big horror fan, but I prefer older movies (I love Hitchock for example), it's like the new stuff is just out of ideas now. ANd also they tend to overdo everything, sometimes less is scarier.

Yeah, you should try it if you can find it. I really like these kinds of "cute" JRPG's. They always have amazing fantasyworlds =) I've heard from friends who also played it, that they didn't like it (weird people), maybe the game didn't recieve that good credit in the west? (haven't read so much about it)

    Thanks for the link=)

American Horror Story's really hyped here too and everyone around me has been all "you have to watch it!!", so I did see the first season and from time to time, it was good, but I didn't like the fact it felt like a comedy with horror theme from time to time. Like, the end was horrible Don't know if I'll like the second season, when I'm out of school I might give it a chance...

I'm currently playing Odin Sphere. Really cute, reminds me of the Mana-series alot. Also I think it's great you can chose the spokenlanguage! One thing which pissed me off was the fact that you can't throw items away during a tutorial. I wonder if that's a bug, because it acctually says "your bags are full, you need to discard items". I had to restart the game and empty one of my bags before the tutorial

I used to be a hardcore gamer during PS2 era, but now I'm completly lost. How does everyone play their old games? Do you buy them again from the ps online store and play them on your ps3? Will you be able to do that on ps4 too? I've been thinking about upgrading my videogames at home but I'm just too scared to get anything new because I really want to be able to play the old goodies XD About PS4's releases, I'm highly disapointed. I went to a big gamefare here just 3 weeks ago and the PS4 corner was deadboring (IMO). But like mentioned Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts will probably be nice...

I just noticed they've shared the cover art and I'm highly disappointed :/ the art looks childish in a bad way, makes me feel like the songs will be in Night-ship"D"-spirit (really don't like that song..)
  11. Aw, too bad. Well, I'm very intersted in those, in case you ever find them=) I'll keep an eye on your store^^
  12. I don't know if you take "requests", but I've been looking forever for Rudolf Steiner's Perfect Garden demo tape, Velvet Eden's: Kumo Onna, Rouge de Noir and Fushigi no kuni no arisu tapes (and of course E-Typ and Kalmia tapes)! (there's an interest for these if you ever get the chance to buy them to the store ^_^')
  13. Filth in the Beauty with Gazette. It was the first song I heard by them and I thought (and still thinks) it was really awesome. Can't say I've listened to all their stuff, but what I've heard hasn't been near as good. Did they ever release a similar song?
  14. You use a shopping service to bid. I can highly recomend shoppingmalljapan.com =)

So far I've been able to sell the cd's I really regret buying (for even more than I bought them for ), but as my music collection looks now, the only records I regret buying are the ones I have 2 off, which is Blam Honey - Providence of Decadence, Moi Dix Mois + D+sect and Moi Dix Mois - Dixanadu limited edition. (may seem weird I have 2 of these releases, but I tend to buy 2 if it's a band I love, I open 1 and save 1. The thing is, I've grown a little tired of Blam Honey and Moi Dix Mois, I still like them and I buy their releases, just not 2 anymore )

Well, it's not always so obvious that asking for an opinion means they want the brutal truth I don't think japanese fans do that for example. If you have negative thoughts you probably rather not say anything (in Japan). But yeah, Kiwamu's probably even worse when it comes to that thinking about how much shit he's been saying about Ken
  17. Igyou_Hime

I don't want to defend Dada being childish (and also posting REALLY weird comments), but I also think Kiwamu and Dada seeming rude have something to do with the fact there's a huge difference in how you talk/act in Japan and the west. First off, manymany VK/none VK bands NEVER respond to fanmails, that's probably the most common thing, they just post on their blogs etc, people comment and send fanmail (and hopefully the band reads them), but they never respond and I think that's a great way of preventing these kinds of misunderstandings. What people don't seem to get here IT IS RUDE (in japanese culture) to directly speak your mind. You don't (if you want to stay polite) just post: I don't like this new release. Or: your voice was better before. These are very direct and rude things since you in Japan almost never speak your mind, especially not to a person superior to you. And I think these types of comments coming from fans and the fact they're barely speaking english (google translate can really f** with the simplest sentences), help making situations like this worse. ^ Dada's 43 years old!
  18. I feel like most stuff released after Noble's been bad... I sort of liked Holy Grail (Masquerade and Judicial Noir was really good), but the last release was just a big meh IMO.
  19. I really like the old releases of Buck-Tick but that cd just doesn't do it for me... It's just like 1 long song XD I felt relieved to read Atsushi doesn't like that cd eitherXD
  20. I get what you mean about Buck-Tick's Yume miru uchuu, but still think Aku no Hana is their worst record X*D I can't believe it's their most sold album... I don't really have any song that gets on my nerves by any of my favorite bands, but I do raise an eyebrow at Malice Mizer's claire~月の調べ~
  21. Igyou_Hime

True, but I felt like Madame Rosa was released as it's own, TABOO was a single of the gothic theme he's been doing, + the B side's on the cd. I also assumed GOTHIC would cover all the singles he released under that specific theme.
  22. Igyou_Hime

I think that preview was a bit disappointing... I used to love Kalm's songs but I feel like he lost it. I was certain I'd buy this but now I feel like I'll have to hear more. I still look very much forward to Hora and Ken's songs. Isn't it weird TABOO's not on this release?
  23. Igyou_Hime

I'm looking forward to this release. I don't really care about the label, I don't like Kiwamu but there's not much I can do about him helping Dada to make this cd... Velvet Eden in general has surely lost quality on the way, the first 3 eras had a magic about them this new thing never will have. Also, Dada's driving me mad about this dancer***. They can't dance, they make it look tacky. Since when did a band (of this type) need dancers? I remember Dada mentioning a DVD with the PVs long time ago when he mentioned that they'd plan a release... too bad he let that idea go.

I'm proud over most of my cd's, but especially my Malice Mizer and Velvet Eden collection which has grown quite big=) One of the items I'm most proud of is the kind of rare version of Velvet Edens demo tape Madame Tarantula which features a different cover (see picture). My UNPOPULAR opinion: Miyavi is one of the worst musicacts ever heard. He may be a talented guitarplayer but the guys music is awful. Whenever I've said this I've got hoards of fangirls going crazy but I just think he's one of those musicians who's gotten famous over nothing. Last year when I was at the Closet Child store in Ikebukuro and they played some live cd with Miyavi and he kept repeating "funky monkey", well, at that point I sort of realised nothing will change my mind about him being an awful songwriter ._.
