Aicle. - i followed this band early in their debut and they instantly became a favorite. there will be no other band as unique and quirky in music as them. As if in the darkness - i know a lot of people think the vocals are shitty, but i think they were a rather interesting band with good instrumentals. i would have really liked to see improvements in the vocals throughout the years too. bis - maru is out of the scene and all the remaining members are in bands which i don't have much interest in... ClearVeil - same as bis, the vocalist saki is no longer active while the other members have moved onto other bands of little interest. they were my favorite ucp band too.... Zodia - another good ucp band, and one that left way too early. while the vocalist did some solo works, i would have liked to see the band flesh out as Zodia. Since1889 - after their disbandment yoshiatsu went on to form decent bands like crazy shampoo and dadaroma, but i think i would still prefer Since1889 over both. L'eprica - i thought their missa album was rather boring, but i love all their preceding releases. raya's later band ANGRAYSE had really great songs, but D'efend Chroma is just awful and nothing like L'eprica..... Black:List - they had too few releases, i liked them a lot :'( meth. - wow i don't know what to say about this band.....one of my favorites back then. i hope the vocalist hasn't completely left the music scene because he has a great voice, especially in conjunction with a metal band like meth. but unfortunately i don't think i can count on him coming back in a metal band. :/ well, i listen to quite a number of disbanded bands but let me stop being sad now...........

i was at a gazette concert doing heavy headbanging, and then born's ryoga was there in flashy outfit and he came up to me wrapping an arm around my shoulder and complimented about my outfit, which was actually pretty shitty lol strange thing is that i haven't even listened to these two bands in a while.

just had a vk dream...........

CAT WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MEEEEEE these two bands are like my all time top favoritesss i'm gonna have to choose plastic tree though since i've known them longer and they've carried me throughout my youth hood up to now. plus, i love ryutaro's voice over anybody else, not sorry.

I'm sure it's written in the booklet, but apparently the band, or one member, composed the second track. I found out through Eve's blog. It'd be nice if they write more of their own songs from now on too~ I really like 影.

Haven't seen that many live footages, but this one makes me smile. The big balloons, the sock/rag doll that Yuuki always flings around with whenever they perform this song. They look like they're having so much fun! Yuuki can't even sing properly sometimes because he's too busy having fun, haha. Jinkaku Radio - Oningyousan Gonna add this one too since I was watching the full dvd the other day and was quite touched by this one. It's quite a huge contrast from their song above. The flames and the reddish orange hues of the stage heighten the feeling of pain and anguish expressed by this powerful song. Beautiful and sad. Jinkaku Radio - Ubasuteyama

couldn't agree more! i love some of their later stuff, but nothing will ever top under the pipal tree for me. clearly their best work~

They're an alright band and the only release I really liked by them was Abnormal Head Machine. It's still sad to see them go though, but as others said, hopefully the members will move on and create new promising bands.

+1 on reila. such a sad song... there are many that i can list, but nothing as heart wrenching as plastic tree's dona dona. ryutaro's voice gets so harsh it almost seems like he is about to cry himself...so sad and beautiful at the same time.
