http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gn1suv5f2MY/T ... odamap.gif Here's an interesting map for your soda vs pop argument, I thought it was pretty cool. My Mom is from Texas so she has always said coke and so we pretty much always referred to it as coke. However, we also ONLY drank Coca-cola so it made sense to call it coke. I tend to flip flop and call it soda, pop or coke generally preferring soda and coke. It doesn't really matter because I also don't drink the stuff anyway. I also say begg-el and krans, haters gonna hate.

I dunno but their singer is a total dick bag. He harassed my friend at a live because she didn't give a shit about his shitty band and hung out in the back waiting for their set to end. So he kept spraying her and her friends down with water until they had to leave the venue because he wouldn't stop. She said there's a difference when a band does it to the crowd and just having fun with it but when you single out certain individuals it's obvious that he was being passive aggressive dick bags. They were probably one of the worse Starwave bands anyway and I'm not saying that because of my now bias opinion they really were just awful. Kiwamu did himself a favor by letting them go.

Jeebus! Then again Japanese t-shirts, CHEAP shirts I found are usually like $30-35(USD) a pop so I guess album cost plus t-shirt and all that other shit makes since why it would cost so God damn much. Interested in the regular edition of the album, they released that one single on US Amazon so hopefully the album will make it there since I'm a pretty casual listener. Interested but not interested enough to pay $60 to import a CD.

It's beautiful.

I doubt Kisaki will bring again UCP bands to Europe after this D: Nah, if the European lives have good turn out I bet Europe will get more bands. We just might not have another opportunity like this again for more web content I dunno man. At this point I feel as though I'm a pretty casual fan myself, the only active band I follow is Megaromania. Yet there's gotta be at least more than 40 fans, just look at the activety on Last.fm. I'm just frustrated at the lack of support from a community that flops around claiming how tr00 VK they are. I'm also just being a brat and in a grouchy mood this morning :-S

Scumbag Visual Kei fans, claim they are fans but can't even spend $20 and expects everything for free.

Not a fan of Chariots and have no problem saying that I was happy to hear they were disbanding. Now getting back together? Bleeeeeeeeh, BUT! I'll keep an open mind because if they get new members they might create something that is finally good. Now if it's the old line up I don't even want to bother. New people, there's a chance that the music will improve unless it was Riku that was writing all those previous crap songs. Lin has been a humongous let down for me, the whole band felt like Chariots part 2 but with more synth. I may not be articulating myself very well here but it just felt like a bunch of people thrown together with different musical backgrounds and now they suddenly have to work with each other making songs that just sound like they were put haphazardly together and then a layer of synth thrown on top of it all to try and make it catchy. Which is what Chariots felt for me, a bunch of people KISAKI randomly found and told them to make a band and felt like a big trainwreck. There was just something about Lin that didn't click with me, that last album of theirs was such a let down.

Haaaaaaaaaaa, yeah that's pretty funny but y'know I was actually thinking about that Japanese band when I was replying, I remember you had posted something about them but I don't think I ever listened to them. That's also very true, I wasn't really trying to imply that either with my initial comment. With the US, we tend to promote that we're a mixing pot because we're primarily made up of immigrants from all over the globe. I think this is kind of an American thing but because of that when you ask someone what their background is no one will say they're American. I knew a girl in school who claimed she was Asian because she was a quarter Native American (everyone always has some Native American in them it seems) and since Native Americans originally came over from the land bridge during the ice age from Asia THAT MAKES HER ASIAN. Well then shit, since humans are said to originate from Africa that must mean I'm also African right????? Time to start claiming minority status!!!

Wuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh, I want to listen to Inca Metal THAT SOUNDS AWESOME. I'm at work right now so I can't listen to these at the moment bwwwaaaa D; I've actually heard Nekrogoblincon before but I thought they were a joke band. Okay, this is cool. I've listened to Agalloch, they're from Portland or something and they really seem to capture the gloomy rainy overcast feel of this area. I only own one album from them though but their music kind of left me with that impression. I guess they're not the kind of Folk I am used to hearing from Europe with lots of banjos, flutes and yodeling.

HEY! LOL, a thought came to mind last night. Is there even such a thing as American Folk or Pagan metal? I ask this because Pagan Fest III is going through the US and they have an American band called Huntress with them. I checked them out on YouTube and they're more like a Heavy/Thrash metal band and not really Folk metal in my opinion. (it's pretty terrible) Has anyone actually heard an American Folk Metal band before? Send me links? Is it even possible LOL? I mean, we don't really have that rich history like Europe does, we were founded by a bunch of puritans. Sure we have the Native American population that we exploited but a bunch of white people dressed in a feather head dress singing about how the white man fucked them over is just dumb and I wouldn't be able to listen to it.

LOL that one is Juka?? I thought he was the one second to the right. I like that guy's hair though.
-
A lot of people seem to have that impression. Years ago when I was with an ex-boyfriend, he had been listening to Arkona and had assumed it was a man for a really long time. I think we started chatting about it and I had mentioned Masha's gender and he was pretty floored by it.

I know right! The first thing I did was check to see if there was Christmas avatars available.

I always buy the B-Type but their last mini-album was rather pricey but that's because the DVD that was included had more than just the PV it was a full live DVD. Maybe the reason this one is pricey is because it's going to be more than just the PV? Just a thought, it is expensive but I don't buy the DVD releases, someone always puts it on YouTube eventually and UCP doesn't make any effort to take down videos it seems. Anyway, looking forward to it.

Ahhh yeah, thinking about it. I'd be okay if other people wrote music for Satsuki but at least he tries.
