Wow, no luck for these guys.

No worries, I totally understand why you would make the comparison (plus it was also funny). It totally makes sense why Lycaon's music tanked when they lost their main song writer. Kind of interesting that their main composer was the drummer (or was it bassist?) because at least in VK, you don't really ever see the drummers being the ones doing most of the composing. No worries, yeah losing your main composer is like losing your kidneys. You either die or go on dialysis and never be the same again. Even if you got a transplant you're still stuck eating a cocktail of drugs for the rest of your life and can never go back to how you use to be. So yeah, that's why I would rather hope it would be a role that is a bit more replaceable and the band keeps on going because I'd be pretty bummed if Kiryu broke up.

When I dated a douchebag that had trust issues every time I went to hang out with my male friends. If it was a gay friend I'd of course be like, Dude he's gay he'd probably want to bang out more than he want to bang me. GUILTY

No, not Lycaon, I never listened to them so I don't care about their drama. I mean isn't the red hair guy (the guitarist) of Kiryu the main composer, so I really don't see how losing the bassist or drummer would have that drastic of an affect. (It certainly depends from band from band) I'm just saying that if someone does leave I would prefer it to be one of those two with the hope that the band continues doing what they do now without any huge music changes. Similar to what happened with Megaromania when they lost their drummer.
  7. Just bought their self-titled. My leasing office is probably going to be like "Women! You've had a package come everyday this week!"

... I only have one thing to say to this: Oh, the humanity. Well wasn't Lycaon's bassist their main composer? I thought the red haired dude in Kiryu was the main song writer. Losing the main song writer they'd probably end up doing shit music like Lycaon but bassist or drummer I'd imagine it'd be like when Megaromania lost their first drummer and not have much of a huge impact since he wasn't the main song writer.
  9. Oh awesome! Thanks for the link! Digging that song! So I bought the album The World; The Flesh: The Devil on a whim from a band called In Solitude. I saw them being promoted on a forum and OW MY FUCKING BALLS this is so good. One of the best albums to come out in 2011. Nothing ground breaking but it's just pure fucking perfect heavy metal. I really dig the vocals though, he reminds me of Calabrese's vocalist and seems like something that would be in a classic punk band. No complaints, I think his voice is fantastic! aZ9thguGySI

  13. TheBistroButcher666

I imagine losing their bassist and drummer would have the least impact on the band.

Kyo ones would be perfect hahaha
  15. TheBistroButcher666

Yeah, Jasmine is the Hide of this generation of (Western) VK fans.
  16. TheBistroButcher666

Should I do a Daisuke one? Or too soon? I don't see as much wank for Daisuke as I do Jasmine though but maybe because I don't find myself interacting with Daisuke fans as much as I do Versailles.

Oh God this, kotekei fans are whole different level of crazy. They're like what Black Metal fans are in the metal fandom and spend vast amount of energy trying so hard to prove how tr00 they are. Doing things like making sure not to scrobble anything that is NOT a kotekei band or some obscure Goth band. Oh shit, you scrobbled one track from Versailles? YOU ARE NOT TR00 KOTEKEI.

I think the UCP and Megaromania livejournal groups are great, though it is Undercode so I am pretty sure there are some cray-crays, especially when you look at some of the last.fm shoutboxes for some of these bands and the wank you see in there. Yet, I just don't even see any of that behavior with the We Love UCP community and the Megaromania community, both ran by some nice cool level headed people. I agree that Buck Tick fans can be nice, some of them can be a little elitist, "Oh you only started listening to them because of Trinity Blood?? Well I've been a fan for blahblah". I've also seen some fans get into superiority kicks but it's not that bad. I mean, nothing as bad as Dir en grey's fantards y'know?

I edited my post, not you I meant Emiru's blog post. I read it in his duck voice.

I read all of that in duck voice.

I hope their guitarist moved onto another band and countinues doing all the cool shit that he does.
  23. TheBistroButcher666

Well damn, I wasn't a huge fan but back in their earlier days when their music was weird and quarky I was really into them. Even people I knew that swore off Osare or just your general rainbow vomit bands even liked them because their music was spunky and weird and it just wasn't your typical happy pop rock.
  24. TheBistroButcher666

Pretty sure that guy is trolling, especially after watching his WoW vid.

I was wondering that, I never seen a Pacman frog before so I didn't know if that bite really hurt that much.
