Anything I scrobble that's not English (Japanese, Russian, Unicode) isn't scrobbling very well over to Last.fm. Has anyone else experienced weird things going on with the desktop scrobbler? Is it just the application or the website itself? I am using Windows. This is what it looks like. This is suppose to be 黒夜葬 - 焔葬 from the album Catharsis. Last.fm will still scrobble the correct band most of the time or it'll randomly assign a band to it. I was listening to Svarga (Сварга) and it was changing it to Girugamesh or just something totally unrelated. It seems to also retroactively change bands and songs that scrobbled correctly to a totally different artist. It has been going back and changing a band I was listening to last night to something completely different. This started yesterday and seems to just have been really buggy over the whole weekend. I normally listen to music and scrobble over my phone so I don't know if this is only for the desktop player or if this has been happening for awhile and I only now noticed it. Are others experiencing this or is there something going on with my computer only? I'm going to uninstall the player and re-install it to see if it'll fix whatever this problem is.

lol! This is going to sound stupid, but that just reminded me that MISARUKA and Secilia Luna aren't the same band. For some reason I've been reading all their news items as one band for the past months. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa - don't worry I think the two are pretty similar and when I first started looking into these bands I thought they were the same. Then I thought that Misaruka was a band that Secilia Luna members came from (because Misaruka was inactive or on break since Mizuki had left or whatever). I actually tend to build playlists and mix the two bands because Misaruka's discography is considerably smaller and Secilia Luna complements their music well.

Recently I started listening to a band that had an album come out in 2011, loved the 2011 and decided to buy their 2008 release but having a hard time getting into since the 2011 album made me expect something different.

Yes!! Like, it doesn't even look good from an aesthetic point of view. The proportions and kerning are so weird! I also hate it because you might look at it and think “oh, some weird little band of newcomers who don't know any better” but then you realize it's made up of 40 year olds. I think that's why I hate it so much, if it was some little no name band I'd just ignore it and assume they'll break up before even releasing a demo single. Then I realize it's made up of old people, old people that played in bands that I enjoyed and respect and I just cringe so much.

D≒SIRE, Mareydi†Creia'), but the ones that go crazy with Euro/Greek/Russian letter forms (the two above) are just too obnoxious! I also hate bands that don't know what their name is, eg. ZI:KILL / Zi+Kill / Zi∻Kill ... i'unno. Blame Arithmetica for using that tag since I pulled most of them out of her library ;O Heeeeeeeeeeeey that's how it came off the CD. I had grown to prefer the recording of this song then the studio but this version is great. I know the band hates playing it haha

Okay okay, that is true! There was a few times when RE4 gave me goose bumps but it didn't have that creepy suspense kind of scary that was prevalent through the whole game like the older games. RE4, I was Leon fucking Kennedy and I was going to blow some shit up. It kind of had cheap scares, you're walking along and some guy jumps out, you scream, pump him full of ammo and then carry on. I totally can understand why long time fans are unhappy with this change of direction in the series, it did lose that suspense and creepy feeling the older games had but at least now I can play it with out raging over the stupid backward ass controls. This is why, if not for the story, I can hardly stand to play Silent Hill either. Except that at least RES combat improved - Silent Hill is still insufferable. Guaaah, this is also why I never got that far in the first Silent Hill game. What could have been a game I could have really enjoyed only to have it ruined by terrible controls.

I didn't start liking RE series until RE4 because fuck the other games. I played the one were you're some girl and guy and I swear to god I spent more time originating my shitty inventory than playing the fucking game. Then there's this stupid door but oh you can't enter it because it's pre-rendered bullshit despite having a fucking grenade launcher. No, I need to walk through some dumb mansion, find a clock arm hidden in the antlers to some moon bust and then place it in a clock to unlock a hidden door and fuck you, fuck you. Don't get me started with the stupid awkward angles because the producer used some half assed excuse, oh I'm trying to make it like a movie. No, fucking limited ammo and I can't even see what I'm shooting at, what if the dumb bitch ain't even aiming at it. Whatever, different stroke for different folk but I prefer the more action oriented third person shooter. I honestly just hated the awkward angles, clunky controls and pre-rendered background shit. I understand that there was limitations with the old Playstation systems but I seriously could not stand it. It was just frustrating. Oh and the preview kind felt like the love child of RE4 and Left 4 Dead. Nothing against you personally, I'm just been drinking and ranting about my frustration with the earlier games. They just felt clunky and I was just more frustrated by just trying to play the game than anything else.

I use to think that tablets where going to be nothing more than oversized tech toys for old people to play Angry Birds and technophiles and fanboys to circle jerk over but apparently I have read that tablets are actually making a break out in hospitals with many places running pilot programs in which staff use iPads to keep track of patient data. Cool stuff.

I really don't want to have to dig through the depths of Google but when Miyavi was with PSC a fairly decently sized Western Miyavi fansite had to take down most of their content because PS Company had requested them to due to copyright. Content such as English lyric translations, translated blog posts and just about every single image of Miyavi.

I just bought both of In Solitude's releases on vinyl I'm starting to collect vinyl but only for releases and artists that I really like. I'm going to try and stay reasonable since this can get pretty expensive pretty fast.
