Visual kei fans have an aversion to anything made by people not Japanese, anyone not dressed in gawfy dark "kvlt klothes" or rainbow vomitus, and music that's not chugalug metalcore or nyappy pop rock. It is known. If anything, the paradoxical struggle between wishing to keep visual kei underground and wishing for mainstream acceptance of visual kei is neatly embodied in the existence of this band. No matter which way the tide turns, haters gon' hate. And that's just pretty sad, because in the grand scheme of things they're both unique and generic at the same time. Or are the visceral reactions the result of what happens when the mystique of the visual in visual kei is subdued and leaves the music, however good or bad, to stand for itself? Think about that for a few seconds. Now to jump off the bandwagon: I also notice a complete lack Japanese in the tracklist, which is a surprise to me. I would like to wager that they're going to be doing something completely original, but expecting anything is the first step to being disappointed in visual kei music, Japanese or no. Hodor. The ironic thing I find is a lot of Visual Kei fans want to be in a Visual Kei band and want to be Visual Kei, and be a part of the Visual Kei club scene BUT FUCK THAT IF SOME OTHER WHITE PERSON DOES IT!

Yes, like the bullshit name † яi ¢ к. Their name is so stupid it makes me not want to even listen to them lolol... Anyway, I'm excited to hear their release. Woooo!

Naw, it's ok. Being released on a japanese label is good enough reason for me to leave it here. I'm not going to move around topics based on the racial makeup of band members. Speaking of which, I can't help to think that if this was some random vk indies band made up of japanese boys, they would be getting a lot less hate and a lot more drool around here, even with the weak vocalist and plain compositions. Indeed, sounds like the same generic bullshit you hear from Japanese bands. Don't understand all the hate myself.

FUCK YOU GUYS! YOUR FOOD LOOKS SO GOOD T________________________T I already did my shopping for the week but I think I'll try Champ's next week, I already have pasta but I don't have farfalle. I am thinking I should try Biopandas and cook a ton of it on a Sunday night, have it for dinner and keep the left overs for lunch to eat through the week. Just not sure how I'll do the eggs for lunch, fried egg like that would suck cold :-\

Spell of Mystery, the instrumentals alone, especially before the chorus I can imagine this being a track to a beat 'em up video game.

YOU SHOULD ALL DRINK WITH ME :D:D
  7. TheBistroButcher666

If it was Misa I imagine that the music would be better instead of bad indie bullshit rock.
  8. aRQR-M_8sDc I only know two of the people in this video but I was entertained.

ALRIGHT! Really wish I had some pictures but pretty much GARLIC MAKES EVERYTHING BETTER even cereal. Lately my favourite dishes is pan seared asparagus in olive oil and garlic. It's pretty damn easy, just chop up the asparagus into small bite size pieces, cover it in olive oil, toss some minced garlic on top, some salt, pepper and cook that shit. Once they are cooked through you're done! Another but a bit more expensive is buying tuna steaks and searing that. Pretty much the same as above, coat the pan in some olive oil, heat some minced garlic in the oil on the highest heat setting. Toss the steak on and sear all the sides and sprinkle some salt and pepper on it. Cook it to how raw you want it. COST Overall it's about $10 a meal. A 16 oz tuna steak is about $27 but I'm also buying it from Pike Place so it has tourist mark up and it's sashimi grade so marks it slightly more. You don't need sashimi grade but that's pretty much my only option. Since it's only me, I can split that into three meals so $9 of steak each meal. Asparagus is pretty cheap, depends on where I go but last I bought it, it was $1.88lb and usually I only cook about half that per meal. You can get cheaper tuna steaks at Costco but Costco is pretty far from my home and the time spent getting there really offsets the money I would save buying it there.

I had sashimi grade tuna all week for dinner but I always sear it, liked it to be a little cooked but middle still raw I like the song! It's not typical metalcore sounding bullshit most VK bands are doing, it's still good old Yuuga.

Hope they come back, they sort of dropped off my radar but always find their music entertaining.

I started reading Mouse Guard but the store didn't carry the first volume so I purchased a book with side stories from guest authors and artists. A coworker ended up getting the first one during free comic book day and says when she's done she will lend it to me :E

That would be amazing! Really looking forward to it! Also interested in 妖-ayakashi-, don't know about ROSE, is it going to be a ballad? Not a fan of the ballads and happy to see there's going to be a Japanese version of Love will be born again since the Engrish in the other version is awful.

Inartistic is much more tactful than I am. It's just a pretty dickish and idiotic thing to say.
  15. TheBistroButcher666

Scumbag VK fan. Kentz suffering from terminal cancer but may recover/live longer. BLAME KISAKI ANYWAY. Sorry to meme it up and not be a very good meme at that but come the fuck on, seriously shut up.
  16. TheBistroButcher666

    That would be amazing :U
  17. At least label it as a fake since you're just using an old song.
  18. TheBistroButcher666

So pretty much, I need to make a really bad music video and people will hate love me?
  19. TheBistroButcher666

Since they have a new look, does that mean that the new single might have a PV then? I have to admit I'm not THAT interested since I didn't really like Rhapsody of the Darkness. Illusion was a nice song though but I listen to Versailles because I want to listen to metal and Illusion is something I would only listen to here and there. Rhapsody of Darkness vocals felt too poppy and bland. I wonder what to expect from this single? Another soft easy to digest pop metal song or something with some real grit? Jasmine would steal the show.

Indeed indeed! I've been hanging out with a guy at local metal concerts, I know if I was in a relationship I'd have to do some politicking to make it clear to my partner and to my friend that nothing more will happen other then sharing some beers and rocking out. Now I don't have to do any of that political delegations, I can go out and hangout with whoever the fuck I want. Also I always stopped and appreciated cute guys when I was in a relationship, I don't think that's a bad thing at all. As long as nothing else comes of it, looking in my book is not a bad thing. I fucking listen to VK, so should I not listen to VK if I'm in a relationship since no one listens to VK for the music anyway. Anyone who has a partner that gets worked up at you for just looking might need to have a serious discussion about their personal problems. If they don't even want you looking what else are they going to restrict you on? I had a stupid ex that had jealously issues, it gradually manifested itself over the course of the relationship but never again! The moment I pick up any hint of jealously or controlling I am done with that person. We will destroy our livers due to the copious amounts of liquor we consume!

So I just saw Suidakra and Diamond Plate last night, left before God Forbid and Overkill came on since I need to go to bed for work haha. Diamond Plate was a lot of fun, the vocalist has a big toothy ass grin across his face the whole time, met him after their gig, nice guy. Also Suidakra was a lot of fun, also really nice guys. They really interact with the crowd, did a bunch of fist bumps with the bassist and singer. Opeth and Mastadon where also in town so the venue was pretty empty, during an instrumental the singer came down in the crowd and head banged with us and we all had a golly good time. Also met them after the show and really nice guys. This Sunday I'm going to see Negura Bunget with Eclipse Eternal and Din Brad. It's awesome being able to walk to this venue!

My friend that came to visit said that he wants to live in Seattle because we have so many cute boys. For me, trying to adjust to single life after getting out of a four year long serious relationship takes some work. I also lost a best friend and for example I just made some bomb ass food but no one to share with or brag to, I can brag on Facebook or something but still it's those little things that I lost that I have to get use to. I got plenty of friends, plenty of male friends that also want to be more then friends (fuckers) but losing someone I've been so close too all these years is taking some time to adjust to. I know in the long run I'll be fine but it's the little reminders that are kind of a drag.
  23. TheBistroButcher666

Don't ever live in Seattle if you're a single male, because of the big male dominated companies here. It's a big fucking sausage fest. Great for me, sucks for you huehuehue.

You need a hair cut? I need a hair cut! Lets go to the spa together, no wait that sounds gay. How did you do the second picture, MIND BLOWING.
  25. TheBistroButcher666

Well I'm making the most of it, being productive and hanging out with with friends. Might get a bike and start biking.
