It has been announced in Swedish newspaper Expressen that YOHIO is confirmed as one of the contestants in Melodifestivalen 2013 the Swedish national selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2013. No more info is revealed yet, but a press conference from SVT will be held on November 19 where all contestants will be official. Also, YOHIO's record label confirmed to Expressen that they indeed have sent one song to the contest but they have no more info. http://www.expressen.se/noje/yohio-klar ... estivalen/

So they're signed to Warner Music Japan now, nice! Also, they're now three members. My friend were at one of their concerts this week, she said it was obvious that Ryo is really trying to put this band together. I hope they'll be active for a long time now!
-
Too bad it includes so many previously released songs!
-
The text on the OUROBOROS cover is not a font. It's an artist that has drawn each letter and put it together.

YOHIO guested "Vakna med The Voice" morning TV-show on 2012-10-19. YOHIO also guested Swedish/Norwegian TV-talkshow "Skavlan" which was broadcasted on 2012-10-19 (tonight) on SVT1/NRK.
-
Looking forward to it!
-
Interesting, never thought they would switch management, but apparently PONY CANYON see potential with this band.
-
btw, YOHIO debut mini album REACH the SKY is also released in Taiwan since 2012/07/27

Leaving PS COMPANY was his biggest mistake ever... see what he ended up with!

NEGA and Megaromania will most likely move to Indie PSC. that's my theory. Indie PSC. will be one band short in October when SCREW goes major on TOKUMA JAPAN, and BORN is the only band with indie status. They will reveal new indie bands soon so why not from UNDER CODE?
-
It was about time!! Should have been done YEARS ago. Well, most of the bands are ready for trash bin, but NEGA can seek themselves to a major label, they actually created some decent good pop/rock songs during PERESTROIKA and that "cold bed" song... NEGA would fit good on TOKUMA JAPAN COMMUNICATIONS 8-D

Actually, aren't they saying that they are leaving their management office "BACK COAT" (which belongs to FREE WILL) and their record label FIREWALL DIV. because they've established their own independed company "HEAVEN SWITCH INC." I'm such a besserwisser.. I WANT ANOTHER mar maroon PLEASE!!!

This may only be an exception for DIVISION, but the album was not released on the VVV Records label, but on J-pop label MASTERSIX FOUNDATION (http://www.mastersix.com/) at Sony Music Japan. If it wasn't an exception, they have now moved from visual rock label "VVV Records" → "MASTERSIX FOUNDATION". I prefer the visual kei label VVV Records. I wonder why the album wasn't released on VVV? :s

It has now been revealed which label on Tokuma Japan they're signed to: JAPAN RECORD (D=OUT are on the same label) Source: http://tower.jp/item/3136298/XANADU-%EF ... A%EF%BC%9E

Once again... PS COMPANY IS NOT A RECORD LABEL!!!! PS COMPANY = ARTIST AGENCY + MANAGEMENT COMPANY NAYUTAWAVE RECORDS = THEIR RECORD LABEL THAT RELEASES THEIR MUSIC (CD+DVD/BD ETC.) Over and out.. Stop mix it up everytime!!! PS COMPANY will still be their MANAGEMENT AND ARTIST AGENCY. SONY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT: the Gazette (Label: VVV Records) ViViD (Label: EPIC Records) TOKUMA JAPAN COMMUNICATIONS: D=OUT (Label: JAPAN RECORD) SCREW (Label: JAPAN RECORD) PONY CANYON: SuG UNIVERSAL MUSIC LLC: Alice Nine (Label: NAYUTAWAVE RECORDS) Peace&Smile music: Kra Indie-PSC: BORN

I always buy Taiwan edition because it's cheaper than Japanese edition, but sometimes YesAsia are selling the Korean edition cheaper than Taiwan, but since I've got all their previous albums in Taiwanese edition, I'll keep buying those. Also, the European edition turned out to be quite expensive? 19,90€ in Germany, while it's way more cheaper in UK (9,81£)... I suppost it'll be around 200 SEK in Sweden, and that's expensive for a Standard CD.
-
Maybe it's been mentioned already in the thread, but brand new UK label JPU Records will release the European edition of "DIVISION" on 2012-10-01 all over Europe (Standard Edition only), and digital release on 2012-08-29 https://www.facebook.com/JPUrecords As always, there will also be a Taiwan edition (Sony Music Taiwan), and a Korean edition (C&L Music).

And why is this? Because it seems that he can't really handle with the super long tour schedules USA always demand - twice a year (because ONE tour á 1½ month is not enough) Try to growl for ~2 hours, every day for ~2 months, living in a tour bus, with road food with no real sleep. That's not healthy for none of the members or crew, but especially for Kyo that begin growlfest everytime they visit USA.
-
All you major label haters, don't be so damn pessimistic all the time. Don't expect the worst whenever a band goes major... It feels like we're having the same comments everytime a band gets signed to major label.. Btw, their major contract must mean that Indie PSC are seeking for new band/bands right now to fill the empty spots at Indie PSC? Don't be that suprised if they welcoming -OZ- onto their label.
-
No offence, but I think you guys are really overreacting regarding Kyo's health. I think he has been fully recovered since MONTHS ago. He had his throat issues in beginning of this year, maybe he recovered in April? They've been in the studio all spring/summer, probably recording the upcoming album so there is definitely no problem with Kyo anymore. Also, their Japanese crew member updated on their Facebook a lot of weeks ago revealing they're all doing fine, including Kyo and there is no need for worry. So, you can stop speculate about his condition. He's fine, he's probably been that for a long time. He just needs to stay away from whatever is named United States of America.

OMG; FINALLY they doing their major debut... I was waiting and waiting and waiting and they released boring singles after boring singles after boring ALBUM... Maybe we'll have some quality songs from SCREW again. I thought they were near a disbandment, but this totally refreshed them! Looking forward onto this new single, it'll probably be really good, TOKUMA has got the best PS COMPANY bands (Alice Nine + D=OUT) so I guess they won't disappoint us.
