Came in here to ask what's with all the one-day revival nonsense and suddenly FUCK YEAH RARA. I'm so out of the scene I didn't even realise he had another band after ブレア, or that this new band had anything to do with UCP! I miss Rara, I used to stan him so badly. If this Cu[be] are any good, I might actually buy their releases to complete my Rara-related-discography. Are they? Someone on last.fm said they sounded like chariots and I didn't like them. :/ You know who else needs to come back? Gyackmen. Why can't they do a revival?

Does anyone actually listen to Gaga for the lyrics? I'm still into her, mostly because I don't pay attention to the media, so if she's behaving like a douchebag I would never know. Even if the fame has gone to her head, I couldn't care less. Music is still catchy and fun? That suits me just fine. That aside, I want more of her songs to reach number one because, frankly, there needs to be more music about (homo)sexuality, transexuality and powerful women in the charts. And I'd love it if I could listen to the radio without hearing anything Rihanna or David Guetta, so she better not have worked with him on the new album.

Definitely wouldn't use the word garbage to describe her music personally. It might not be as raw as demos or acoustics, but it's still fantastic. She's capitalising on the popularity of electronic music now, but I don't think it lessens the beauty of her songs one bit. It presents them in another way entirely that I still find enjoyable, but that's just me. She's wonderful live too.

On my PC, which is currently unusable due to it being in another town altogether, Rhythmbox. On my laptop, iTunes without all the bulk that lags it or Winamp. Off the computer, I have an iPod Touch that I rarely use. I listen to music on my consoles too while I game and on a shiny new stereo I got for Christmas.

I'm not sure now that you mention it. This is the official single's music video and the most popular version, if there was an original that was less electronic, hm... I know there's been lots of remixes and live acoustic versions of it. Honestly I really hated Starry Eyed when I first heard it, but it grew on me and now she's fast becoming one of my favourite artists. This Love (Will Be Your Downfall) and Under the Sheets are my favourite songs and the album is basically flawless. It really doesn't ever get old.

On the subject of unpopular bands who are around for a year or so, there have been cases where these bands have admitted to being in it for the girls. VK is a scene where, like Champ said, you can upload your photo to visunavi, record an appallingly bad demo, and start performing lives. You don't even need to know how to play your instruments well, and you will get obsessive female fans. Maybe only five, but you'll get them, depending on how attractive you are. VK is a predominantly female fanbase. In Japan, female fans have been known to pay bandmen for their company, they will fund their band activities if they can. It's alarming how often this happens. So even if they suck and they have no money to record a second single, at least they got some tail while they were active. ;D

Okay. I am critical of Square Enix and yes, even I can agree that the battle system, while executed poorly, was great. I liked the paradigm shifts. Hated what they did to summons a lot. Visually they were great. But that's where Squeenix excels, isn't it? They can render every single one of Lightning's eyelashes but GOOD STORY? WHAT IS GOOD STORY? The battle system really is the game's only saving grace. But in an RPG the story is key. It needs to be interesting and engaging and keep the gamer's attention, the characters need to be tolerable. A bad story is a deal breaker for me because who wants to play a game for X amount of many hours when the story sucks? Remember when the format of RPGs was basically identical but the story was cool? /nostalgia.

So I'm considering a bridge piercing. Do any of you know someone who has/had one? Pain isn't an issue, but I am curious as to whether people think it hurts in general.

I don't eat meat, but I'm not going to preach about that! This is far worse in my opinion because they had a cheaper method of disposal available (humanely euthanising them) and chose to spend millions more to send these pigs trotting into their grave and burying them alive. Pigs which might not have even been infected in the first place, at the risk of contaminating nearby water supplies. As it is, the animals you eat are generally slaughtered and then eaten. Not eaten alive. They're killed to sustain the human race, the ones that can't live without meat, anyway. These animals were buried alive out of laziness, greed and stupidity. If it was truly about protecting their own people from an outbreak, they'd have been better off culling them in a more humane way, but it wasn't.
