Sugizo is the only solo stuff I've been into. I like his ways with trance music.

I'd probably still be listening to those mainstream american crap. *puts up language barrier*

I think they were major since the MUSIC album.

Obviously the first song I heard from them is the 1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou. I was watching a random ep of Rurouni Kenshin and that song came up as the ED. I was instantly hooked. I tried their other stuff but it didn't click on me. That was like 7-8 years ago. At that time I was still new to Japanese music and rock genre. That could've been the reason why I couldn't get into them. But the real reason was, I listened to the wrong songs. Then a couple months ago, I gave them a 2nd chance listening to all their albums. Wow, I missed out some great music. Now this is what I call hard rock. It's shame they disbanded. It'd be nice they do another reunion concert except this time, showing it on TV or selling it on DVD. Some of my fav songs are: 1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou Kumori Nochi Hare Never End Moon ADORENARIN Time's Ookina Kino Shitade

Mucc's vocals. I tried listening to them countless amount of times but that disgusting singing is raping my ears. I swear, right when I hear the vocals, my mind suddenly wants to vomit. Sounds like a drunken old geezer singing. Up to this day, I still don't understand why they're popular and how fans can tolerate that voice.

Lol. I brought 2 friends with me to the concert. One knew the band but didn't care for them and other never even heard of them. The guy who never knew them is now a fan! I achieved something that night.

They are remastered. But stuff from Shine and onwards are still the same.

Just got back from Chicago's concert. They played all the stuff from the new album except for Final Call. It was a good concert, although I was a bit disappointed they didn't play Horizon which is my personal favorite.
-
They did. "On November 18, 2007, the band briefly regrouped and performed at the Nippon Budokan, in order to honor SIAM SHADE’s chief manager Shinichi Nakamura, who passed away in April."Unfortunately, the concert was never recorded.

I highly suggest just try out all their materials cuz you'll never know what hidden gems you'll find. I started out with their PISTOL single and went on from there.

Abingdon boys school is what I listen to when I'm playing an action packed game. And sometimes T.M.R songs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCT4__fGn2M http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbEFvVhkjU4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaxjkyEpggY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86QsiReFrEI

If they re-record Rasen with the extended guitar solo they've always done in concerts, I'd cream myself.
-
Brand new recordings on older songs would be nice.

First off, no because I LIKE THEM. They got a few great songs that's worth checking out but that's for another thread. 2nd, I'll one up Cibicco-san on the last comments he/she made. However just to add, even if everyone did hate them, who cares? As long as you value your own opinions then you shouldn't let them provoke you. And since Herpes has been knocking it, bands/artists like Orange Range and Yui don't make songs exclusively for anime since they were officially musicians long before their songs were featured in the show. Anime studios only offered to have their songs in the show. This comes hand and hand not only in business sense but also growing fan base due to promotion.

I walked into the theater without knowing anything about this movie so it was a little confusing for me at first. After seeing it, I was like DAMN! This is going in my DVD/Bluray buy list.
-
Woooooow.... So they were popular enough to get the dome, that's quite an achievement.
-
Gah damn, slow ass drivers tick me off. Especially senior citizens. Get the hell off the road! You're only gonna create traffic and anger among the drivers behind you if you're going below the speed limit.

Just saw the first ep, dangerously cute. Can't wait for more.

http://www.amuse.co.jp/siamshade/index.html * Hideki Imamura - Vocals * Kazuma Endo - Rhythm Guitar/Backing Vocals * Daita Ito - Lead Guitar * Yasushi Nakagawa (Natin) - Bass * Junji Sakuma (Jun-ji) - Drums Siam Shade was a five-piece Japanese rock band which was quite popular during their post-breakup period. They broke onto the visual kei scene alongside a multitude of other artists in the early 1990s, enjoying a decade of relative popularity on the Japanese music scene before disbanding in early 2002. Outside Japan, Siam Shade is best known as the band who performed "1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou", one of the many ending themes of Rurouni Kenshin, a popular anime series. -Wikipedia Any fans here? Please post away. If you're new to them, give them a chance! Start out with "1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou" (1/3 PUREHEARTED EMOTIONS) and work your way through. =)
