A time long ago, when I had 56k modem, when Kazaa existed, I searched for a Rurouni Kenshin OST song, then search results came up as "Heart of Sword" sung by T.M.Revolution, my first thought was.... techno music? So I gave it a listen and the tune turned out to be pretty catchy. That was my gateway to the Japanese music realm.

I like PVs that have a nostalgia and timeless feel to them. No matter how much time passes by, it never feels old. I rarely see PVs like that nowadays. I love the gritty and the in-your-face type of feel they were displaying here. Usually those dirty film effects don't strike me as authentic and ends up cheesy but with the direction they went, it was put to good use. Showing staffs behind the scenes is a nice touch. Man of Steel Never liked superman but watching this as a movie in general, I found it above average at best. Too many illogical moments and action sequences relying too much on set pieces. White House Down Straight up fun action flick. Want to watch a movie with your brain turned off and just enjoy the ride? This is for you.

Just finished watching: Valvrave S1 One of those shows that's so bad it's entertaining. If you want to see Code Geass on crack, this is for you. The Devil is a Part-Timer! Satan working for McDonalds? Concept can't get any better than that. It's a pleasant surprise seeing how enjoyable this series is. I expected this to be mediocre cuz it's got light novel written all over it but good thing I was wrong. Devil Survivor 2 The Animation So cliche and predictable and some WTFs. I can see how the plot works for a video game but as an anime, it's hard to take it seriously.

Star Trek Into the Darkness Awesome special effects and set pieces but the overall movie was mediocre to the bone. Previous one was way better.
