Strange magic An animated musical based off of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Singing. Dancing. Fairies. Elves. Love potions. Shenanigans. Evil forces with Scottish accents. I looooooooooved this movie. Like, honestly. I was watching TV, bored and stuff, flipping between channels. I usually have rough time swallowing small production 3D animations (small production = anything that isn't disney, pixar or dreamworks), but this one stunned me with it's beautifully polished artwork and smooth motion capture. It was stunning from the very first moments onwards. I watched it, and then I forced my husbando to watch it with me for the second time. There were also so many unconventional plot points in the movie that just made my heart flutter. First of all, the movie actually had a strong female lead. And not strong like, "strong until the correct man is found and then totally happy to be a useless housewife", but like... actually strong. With a sword. As a small con I would like to say that the movie did not have original music but rather borrowed a bunch of well known pop anthems. Buuuut it's a small flaw. Eh. A million stars out of five. Would watch again. Will watch again. Will cry. Need to send mail to Disney asking why they're so afraid of showing love between characters that might not be the image of a perfect boyfriend/girlfriend.

Meth. I can cook meth. (3 cups of sugar. Kettle. Put sugar in kettle. Boil. Stir until liquid. Add blue food colouring. Take off heat. Pour into a dish. Spread into a thin layer. Refrigerate until solid. Hammer it into shards. Distribute shards into zip bags. Sell in front of a high-school for maximum profit. Retire and get somma that cancer treatment.) No but in all seriousness. I don't cook. My slaves do it for me.

Ultimate protip: If they're more trouble than they're worth, drop it. There are so many people out there who don't see this and insist on "fixing" people. Yo, hun, not your problem. This tactic applies to all "fixer-uppers"; high-maintenance, basic bitches who bring nothing new to the table personality-wise; manipulative little shits and "playing hard to get" skanks. The bread has spoken.

I think this thread should be renamed as 'Date a fictional character', 'cause... ya know, why exclude TV characters (fictional ones, not actors), book characters etc.? Anyways. SO - FUCKING - MANY. Don't really have anime crushes, or TV crushes for that matter. I can definitely like a character from other medias and be excited when they're on the screen (i.e. Jaqen H'ghar from Game of Thrones or Daryl from The Walking Dead), but having a crush on a character requires for me to be involved with what they're doing. Anyways, onto the characters. Garrus Vakarian / Mass Effect trilogy I would fuck this alien's brains out in an instant if I got the chance. So - hawt. Citadel DLC had me biting my fingers so I wouldn't moan and orgasm when Garrus deftly tangoed femShep into oblivion. Also, he's funny. And projected as a skilled shooter, so... really, Garrus is a pretty perfect package. Why romance humans when you can romance stupid sexy aliens? Ignis Scientia / Final Fantasy XV Iggy was just the deepest character in the whole game and just depicted perfectly what a unconditionally loving relationship there can be between two friends. Ignis gave his all for Noctis and never wavered, even when he lost his sight. And after watching Final Fantasy XV: Brotherhood, it's even more than evident, that Ignis was special to Noctis. Prompto might've been his best friend and Gladio always kept his feet on the ground, but Ignis was, in addition to being a friend, like a parent to Noct, when his father grew too weary. Iggy is just so beautiful. *cries* Naoto Shirogane / Persona 4 Okay yeah I have a thing for boyish girls, especially as pretty as Naoto. She's just the picture of perfection. Cool and collected and sweet and adorable and everything. Wanna stick her under my pillow and keep there. Morrigan / Dragon Age: Origins/Inquisition My heart's desire. Morrigan. The most beautiful, perfect woman in the whole game world. Beautiful and witty, destructive and intelligent. She makes my heart tremble. In fact, I'm kind of mad at Bioware for not making her a companion or a romance in Inquisition. They improved her looks so much that I was swimming in my own saliva after 5 minutes of banter with her. Not that she wasn't already amazing in Origins but... maker, look at that face! Just wish she wasn't a baby mama (Kieran is such an annoying brat). Solas / Dragon Age: Inquisition Solas you little... nnh. Solas is definitely more of a personality crush than anything else, although I have to admit that sentinel armour in the .gif is sexy af. Shiny thighs. Anyways. Before I played Inquisition I was warned that Solas was gonna be really boring and that his romance doesn't proceed anywhere beyond kissing, but also that his backstory would be the most interesting out of all the companions. The warning about dullness almost made me not romance him, but he just made it waaaay too easy (kinda like Anders in DA2. If you've ever played DA2 you know Anders is way too easy to romance. He just kinda throws himself in your arms). So I went with it, and while it's slightly disappointing that you, indeed, don't get to do much else than smooch with Solas and have in-depth conversations about the Fade, the emotional investment in the romance is HUGE. I could write a fudging essay about how my feelings for Solas went from 'you're kinda boring' to 'omg you're actually really sweet' to 'I effin love you man' to 'YOU SHITHEAD YOU BROKE MY HEART IMA PUNCH YOU IN THE GUTTER' to 'why am I crying solas please solas take me with you solas we can burn the world together solas i'll love you forever solas'. Gotta love the egg. Cole / Dragon Age: Inquisition Cole. ;w; Just looking at him makes me want to cry. Okay maybe my love for Cole isn't as much 'I'd date him' than 'I'd take him home, feed him well, pet his head, brush his hair and take care of him until the end of times'. Cole is just a wee puppy. There're so many ways in Inquisition in which you can make him even sadder than he already is. If you're a generally bad person, he might leave and make you forget he ever existed, with the parting words: "You won't miss me." SO SAD I WOULD NEVER DO THAT. Also you have the option to turn him more into a spirit, and near the end game, in a conversation with him, you call him by his name and he says: "You may keep calling me that. After all, I'm here to help." ;;w;; Never again will I turn Cole into a spirit. (ALSO, SOMEONE NEEDS TO TELL PATRICK WEEKES TO STOP WRITING AWESOME CHARACTERS. 3 OUT OF 6 ON THIS LIST ARE HIS WORK.) So many pictures and gifs, enjoy! // Edit since march: I would like to add on the list: Kitagawa Yusuke / Persona 5 Okay so turns out I can't handle myself with any character that's sorta broody and eccentric. Yusuke is such a dork and oblivious and yet skilled with his words and observations of deeper meanings within the world. And he says things like he means them and it creates hilarious outcomes that are relatable to someone like me who occasionally also struggles to keep her pie hole shut when needed. Plus haaaay, who doesn't like foxes?

Personally I think it's good, but then again, me and Craig did co-op and it might've been more fun that way. However, I do think it's funny and the DLCs are super entertaining.

Ew. Trying to have a conversation with dog owners who believe in the "alpha dog" theory and "pack mentality". How 'bout you give up your dogs and get a goldfish and do the alpha roll on that. At least the goldfish forgets an unpleasant experience in like 15 seconds, unlike a dog.

Unless the people getting hurt are just absolute pussies getting hurt only because they can. More like, when someones opinion intentionally hurts other people its no longer an opinion only and you don't need to respect that.

Am I the only one who sometimes finds herself obsessing over completely regular people? It seems that's how my friendships always start out. First I'm like "omg this person is so cool they must think I'm a total tool no matter I'll talk to them and tell them how awesome they are and then I'll ask if they want to be my friend and if they don't that's like fine but if they do IMMA GONNA HYPERVENTILATE." PS. Finding someone with the same interests as you but seemingly not part of the fandom is awesome.

FFXV here too. Late to the discussion since I've been doing nothing but playing the game. Can't remember what chapter I'm in but I think I'm level 57 or something. We actually didn't download the first day patch to correct all the glitches, so I've had a few funny moments in the game so far. How dare you~~ Iggy is like the least annoying character. Ignis lights my panties on fire~ Also I second that fishing is addictive. I think I'm decent at it as well. Have been beating all the fish-bosses (?) so far.

Cheer up bae, it just won't fall through. My hubby here is saying they already tried to ban porn all together at some point and look how that worked out. There'd be a public uproar.

I'm saddened to see I'd be the first one to remember Arc ~superlongnamenooneeverremembers~. Every now and then I slink back into YT to watch their PVs and remember how endearingly horrible KO-JI sounded back then. Other than Arc I actually never cared much for Oshare. These boys were just special enough.

If a similar topic exists, mods can move or destroy or transfer this to a black hole. Are you part of the generation that absolutely can not get off their phones? At the silent moments you pull your smart phone out of your pocket and start playing candy crush because boredom is just so... boring? Maybe you've got a really good time-killer at your hands and would like to recommend it to others who might be equally tired of being bored. Or maybe you are the bored one, trying to find ways to pass the time while waiting for buss or a doctor or a friend or a coffee. This is the topic to all of those who feel the need to do something with their hands, constantly. Okay for me this is just a outlet for my continuous HoDA addiction. I don't play other mobile games but this is like pokemon with more complex rules. Fans of Biowares Dragon Age franchise get the most out of this game, as it features tons of characters from Origins, DAII and Inquisition plus all the DLCs, and numerous variations, but I managed to get @Biopandahooked on this for a while and he has absolutely no idea of Dragon Age. Pros: + Easy to understand + SO MANY HEROES TO COLLECT + Chances of getting rarer heroes increase with level + A truly freemium game, with absolutely no need for real-life cash if you've only got patience + No need for actual human interaction Cons: - You need wifi to play it - PvP has the worst match-making mechanics ever (seems to not even want to match you up against someone of your own level. Will offer matches with people with a lot higher level heroes than yours) - Gems tend to be hard to obtain unless you constantly take part in the PvP events - Once you're out of stamina and power points... well, too bad. Wait for a few hours for them to regenerate. - F U CAN I JUST HAVE A COLE PLEASE Pls try this one out if you've got too much time in your hands and would like to collect nice, shiny heroes from the Dragon Age universe.

Frogware's new Sherlock Holmes game was on sale on PSstore so I went and bought it. I'm already loving it a lot. It's been a long time since I played Crimes and Punishments and The Devil's Daughter is almost exactly like the previous game, but with new plot of course. I mean, why fix it if it ain't broken? Have to admit though, this was the one time when I kinda regretted buying the PS version instead of PC version. Normally I prefer consoles just for the sake of easy control, but since the Sherlock Holmes games don't really require fast reaction time I'd be fine using a mouse and keyboard. All in all I just love the brain teasers the game gives me. Just like with Ace Attorney.

I sometimes forget that I'm merely a temporary phase in people's lives, but it pays off to see them happy.

I only understand marriage from the legal point of view. Otherwise it's rubbish. I used to dream about my wedding. Having a medium sized party in a Japanese garden, wearing a quirky black dress and having one of my dogs as a ring bearer. But nowadays? Fuck it all. I can't stand other people long enough to put up a bloody reception for them. When it comes to love and marriage, I don't understand that either. I mean, by that point you're already in a relationship. If marriage is changing the standpoint of your relationship, you're doing it wrong. If you think marriage is gonna make you or your partner more committed, more loving, more understanding etc. than what he or she was before getting married, you're gonna have a bad time. Things just don't work that way. I already give 100% in a relationship instead of playing around and being indecisive. But from a legal standpoint, yes, I would like to get married. I would like all the legal and financial benefits of being married. That's all marriage is to me. I'm cynical.

Wanted to show you guys just how much of an awesome retard my other dog is (for some reason, the floofy one appears smarter in pictures, while everyone who's ever met him knows he's a total dork). When you're flopping out of your bed but are too tired to adjust so you kinda look like you're dead. Soon... The multifunctional corgi now also works as a table for your laptop. Easy to carry around as it fits in a standard car and runs mostly on kibble. Paint me like one of your french bulldogs. They said I could be anything, so I became a fusilli pasta (what is this spine you speak of?)

Heroes of Dragon Age. Man I got so addicted to it like a while back and gathered myself a nice set of heroes, but then the server (or program or whatever) decided to throw a tutorial at my face in the middle of things and erase all my hard work. So I got so pissed that I stopped playing. Now a few weeks later I'm back in business and hoarding them heroes again. Every time I get an epic I scream internally.

Wait. Wait. Wait. Holla holla holla hold up. Since when has Rame had a production company? Also, Rame should totes be the next Kisaki of the VK. He'd do good. Although maybe less entertaining.

So hey, I've got a couple. What happened to Hasune? You know, the gayest of the gay bassists? No? Fine. Hasune from エゴ≒徒. I think he was in some super tiny band for a while after leaving Egoist, but since then he's disappeared. Anyone have any idea what he's up to? Another one is CO- from Futurism Boyz. He had the dealio with the police, but a) no one clarified what he was accused of and whether they found him guilty or not, and b ) he left Futurism Boyz afterwards and... disappeared. God, I miss him.
