I don't get NETFLIX, they have the part 3 of some horror movies, but they lack the part 1 and 2.no good classics, very disappointing

Does any of you know about any blog or page dedicated to Asian horror/suspense movies. I'm kinda tired of the north American ones and I don't know from where to start with the Asian ones .Just watched Noroi and Ju-on (again) and they were just super eerie, that caught my attention .if you know about one dedicated to the Italian ones, would be a good as well. THX!

Do you want old classic Japanese horror movies (50's through 80's), or more modern?
As for older stuff you got superb movies like The Depths (1957), Ghost Story of Yotsuya (1959), Jigoku (1960), Curse of the Mushroom People (1963), Onibaba (1964), Kwaidan (1964), Illusion of Blood (1965), Kuroneko (1968), Ghost Story of the Snow Witch (1968), Ghost Story of the Snake Woman (1968), Goke, Body Snatcher from Hell (1968), Horror of a Deformed Man (1969), Black Cat's Revenge (1970), Hausu (1977), Evil Dead Trap (1988), Tetsuo, the Iron Man (1989) and hella lot more that's mandatory as far as Japanese horror movies goes.
For newer:
One Missed Call, Suicide Club, Marebito, Retribution, Cure, Uzumaki, Dark Water, Grudge, Audition, Kairo, Ringu, Exte: Hair Extensions, Gozu, Ichi the Killer, Battle Royale,Strange, Circus, Tokyo Gore Police, The Machine Girl, Meatball Machine and so on.
A lot to choose from, and a lot of different type of movies. But from what you're saying I would say movies like One Missed Call, Cure, Dark Water, Kairo, Exte: Hair Extensions, Marebito, The Depths, Ghost Story of Yotsuya, Jigoku, Onibaba, Kwaidan andGhost Story of the Snow Witch could be close to what you're looking for. Atmospheric, suspenseful and very good, albeit some better than others. But all worth seeing.
Some of the other movies I mentioned, like Gozu, The Machine Girl, Tokyo Gore Police, Meatball Machine, Tetsuo, the Iron Man and Hausu are more on the weird, fucked up and surprising side of things. But all are great, and I consider all of these must see for fans of splatter and gore (The Machine Girl, Tokyo Gore Police, Meatball Machine), and fans of complete and utter madness and weirdness (Gozu, Tetsuo, the Iron Man, Hausu).

man, you're the wikipedia itself, thanks for the time doing that for me. i heard about some of them but never gave it a chance, the last ones i saw were FEBRUARY,BABADOOK (highly recommend these 2 ,if you haven't seen yet) ,noroi and ju-on as mentioned,i'm looking forward those with that ominous atmosphere, which is built while the story develops itself, without those cheesy jumpscares...well,i do like jumpscares, but not the forced ones.
i saved your text on my laptop,i'll certainly check them out this weekend

Impossible not to feel pathetic when you say positive and motivational words to people when deep inside you don't even believe in any of these words you just said.
-
@123Sandman321 yeah, that's what i thought.making someone important feel better is what matters, even if it's against your own "beliefs"

i know what you're talking about, my first ex commited suicide a year ago. of course it's not as bad as losing your relatives, i can't even imaging how horrifying it must be. but being half dead - well, i know that feeling. life is a fucking joke huh. i don't even think focusing on new things is a good solution - suppressing your inner thoughts doesn't solve the problem. idk what will work for you, but i've read some books and they helped me accept different things. i still don't think life is a piece of cake or something meaningful but now i'm like okay whatever, let's have some nice moments at least before i end up in grave
-
@yomii your thoughts makes sense again, and sorry about your ex. I really need this "whatever" button in my life. But we need something meaningful to hang on while "enjoying" these moments, don't you agree? like a well succeeded career, family and a true love. My cat and my geek stuff won't give me the "structure" I need to stay strong living in this shit world

Euronymous and Naaaaani reacted to this

you know such things as successful career, family and true love are not so common, even among people who don't struggle with depression...but i think the point is in trying to achieve such things anyway. maybe you will achieve an ideal, maybe you won't, but step by step you will make your life much more comfortable. you've said you have some things to finish, and you want to find a better job, so it means you do have some goals in life, so, can't these goals themselves become your "structure" instead of geek stuff? if you find a better job that will be your first step to a good career. and maybe you'll meet the love of your life there~ maybe not, who knows. but anyway it will be more comfortable to work in a place that doesn't disguist you.
tell me about your cat btw .w. - Show next comments 9 more

Judging by the live samples on his Twitter ,KarasunaMei's new band/songs are going to be a "Super Saiyajin" version of Mamireta. Kinda amusing to say it cuz he is one of mamireta's inspirations.

Everyone knows it,but a nice trick to stop spending money with new clothes is buying repeated cheap black clothes ._.
