Honestly I've heard some of my guy friends say the same thing. I don't know if it's the same with you, but they were always looking for women in the wrong place, for example, at the clubs. Then they'd get hung up on these girls who clearly just want to use them and curse out everyone else.

There are plenty of women looking for romance, It'll take time to find, but it exists. Two of my friends who are the biggest awkward geeks I ever knew put themlseves out on tinder(!!!!) and now one is engaged and the other is living out a fairy tale romance lol don't give up. I promise you it's out there.

Yea,platy, your text is a fact....and I confess that I had some opportunities to be with real "good girls",I mean ,those respectful girls, but I kinda screwed that up with my approach. I gave up my University bcuz of my depression and now I work as a bartender in a big bar few days a week, and I can tell you that place is a cesspool of promiscuous people and vile girls with no values at all. Yesterday for example I saw my college of work staying there overnight just to have an affair with my boss and he's married with a new born child.i walked back to home wishing I could slit my throat, can't explain my level of disgust for that. In resume, I've been seeing the ugliest side of humans, that plus my previous bad experiences contributes for my lack of faith.

But I feel like your text gave me a North,so thank you

I'm sorry you had to see that. Humans have a disgusting side, without a doubt. If you can  focus on good news. There are pages on FB or twitter dedicated to positive things people do, like rescuing animals on the brink of death. It can be a good reminder, especially in this dark world climate. Don't give up :)

i think it is a good thing having all the singles together in this Album, cuz let's be honest, who's visiting their past singles? I don't remember a single note from any of the releases between the last album, they could be completely forgotten if weren't added to this album,so at least for me, it will be a good chance to enjoy these singles properly in a full length. Let's hope all of them flow well... ( Killer artwork !!!)
  5. I have a good feeling about NAZARE,and even more excited for the result of Seiya's departure from DEVILOOF. He's the magician of riffs!

  6. Knowing vk ,I'm almost sure they will release it all together someday lol
  7. Manji 卍

Am I the only one feeling some MiA vibes from the guitar work of this guitarist? It seems to be the period where the band is simply taking all the ideas out of the hat and throwing at the table to see where it ends. The potential is there,at least
  8. I wished they had released a full or mini album already, instead of these "complicated" consecutive releases. They could be just one more boring menhera kei out there, but the heaviness and tight production ,plus the vocalist's MUCC-y voice keeps these guys pretty interesting. (already miles away from the modern R-shitei,imo).
  9. Wow , that was very Dispina Excited
  10. I doubt that, but would be nice if KarasunaMei come up with something more Gibkiy-ish or Sukekiyo-ish. His voice is more than proper for it.

    1. karai · ebi

      karai · ebi

Considering how big a sukekiyo fan he seems to be, I'm surprised he hadn't done some sort of tribute yet...that would be awesome

    2. Manji 卍

      Manji 卍

Yea,on KTK we only saw some dir en grey gauze era  with kagerou and Korn influences, hopefully we could get some math rock in the Sukekiyo-ish style, with more singing, awesome ballads ,who knows..I hope so

  11. Manji 卍

Feels like issei just couldn't help restarting from where he left off. The similarly with DIMLIM must be accepted,i guess Furthermore,I think it's unfair throwing too much high expectations on the vocalist, he still fresh to the scene, and that MV was a decent beginning for him
  12. Manji 卍

OMG the vocalist looks like a Dragon Ball Z fusion between DIMLIM's and Deviloof's vocalists, That guy is interesting ! The whole concept/aesthetic is just some Ahawareta part 2,but definitely way more promising than I expected
  13. They sound more Kiryu than never, and that isn't exactly a bad thing, but i expected the agressivity of The first mini. The first track sounds like a remake of Zetsu no Nozomu from Kiryu. Overall, nothing especial, just good Japanesque vk style. The vocalist's distinct voice is what keeps this band interesting.
  14. SLIPKNOT back at it with new awesome MV doesn't even feel like time has passed , thank God they never change.

      Yes, of course. I agree.

Different than progressive bands like dir en grey that each album makes you think "how did they come from this to that?" ,and you simply don't know what to expect next. Slipknot's upcoming album didn't even dropped yet and you kinda know exactly what this is about

    3. Bear

Yes. I agree again. Two thumbs up.

  15. I've dropped DADAROMA for real, but despite of all complaints we may have, we can't deny that their music is sooo well produced, there's real quality here and in all of their releases. I don't understand the reason why I don't enjoy this band anymore.
  16. I have no patience for GTA but RED DEAD really seems to be my thing. Shame that Rockstar never made a sequel for Manhunt 2

RDR is one of the most boring games I've ever played. Not quite as boring as Assassin's Creed, but not too far away tbh. I'm a big, big fan of westerns and especially spaghetti westerns, so I do actually love the concept and atmosphere in the game. But the game play itself makes it into a massive snoozefest. Doesn't help that it's among the easiest games I've ever played either.

    2. platy

Assassins creed is definitely one of the most boring games out there.

      Manji 卍

If i say that I had a lot of fun playing RDR I would be lying, for me it's more like a relaxing game like the Sims or age of empires

Well,i liked the blast beats and it's impressive how they still capable to come up with original riffs after all this time releasing constantly. BUT again,I despise the keyboards, to me they are unnecessary, they are always competing with the volume of the guitars, however that piano in the end was nice. Ready for Shuka Ensen 2.0
  18. It's hard to make slasher movies that makes "sense",and this subgenre became too stale throughout the decades, but fans of slasher movies like me are in need of a NEW character to refresh the scene. It doesn't really need to make sense, just make it with good effects,a badass killer and good victims in interesting situations. The world needs more slasher movies. I'm tired of possessions.

have you ever watched Terrifier on netflix? i watched that recently and it was pretty damn good 😮 (and I don't even like horror movies)

    2. merchenticneurosis

      merchenticneurosis

Terrifier is amazing! Also "not-really-slasher", Mandy was such a highlight, great 80s horror elements.

    3. Manji 卍

      Manji 卍

Funny that those effects from the 70's 80' and early 90's doesn't even scares you,but you keep visiting those movies bcuz of the atmosphere they can make, which is something very rare to find nowadays. And this is very personal but I don't even think that good atmospheric horror movies should be filmed in HD lol .that bad quality from the old movies is everything

@YuyoDrift well that wasn't a bad movie, and wasn't so good either,I would say regular 6/10. Maybe i had too much expectations on this one.

@suji @merchenticneurosis thx for the recommendation, I'm gonna watch this week

Just now I realize that Mei is following almost all the ex sibilebashir members on Instagram, they might be involved with his "original" new band that goes to the studio with him,idk

  21. Manji 卍

MiA,Koichi,Tsuzuku...why don't you guys stay active only on Instagram like Meto and get into music again when you all have something not disappointing to offer? Please. It makes me cry tears of blood watching these three guys wasting their PHENOMENAL talent doing goofy projects
  22. since I started my 20's I've been paying attention to the 80's and early 90's metal , something I didn't care when teenager

    1. YuyoDrift

      YuyoDrift

That, and your appetite for something new will eventually run out of the "current" stuff and you'll crave more. Where else to look but back to older times, right?

Have fun though. If you haven't already noticed, the 80's and 90's scene was so simple, yet the arrangements still echo in today's Metal.

      Manji 卍

That's right, guys. And it's always funny when you take that album which you left behind some time ago and you try it again and you find out that you got "ears" to listen, and you enjoy it. Always happens to me with many bands

  24. Back at the classic horror/survival games of ps2 and I really hate those puzzles or secret passages

    1. monkeybanana4

      monkeybanana4

Cool. Do you have a favorite game within the Silent Hill series?

I've heard of Fatal Frame but haven't had the chance to play it yet. Never heard of Kuon, though. How is the game?

    2. Manji 卍

      Manji 卍

Actually I just tried silent Hill the room for ps2 some years ago,and I'm definitely wanna start playing the series

Fatal frame is a good one if you're looking for some atmosphere.i mean... it's a really good game to play at the late night with all the lights off .

Kuon is very similar to fatal frame, you're locked in an eerie mansion and have to deal with ghosts, but Kuon has a very traditional Japanese ambient, like those ancient Shogun giant houses, and the character is wearing a kimono, so it's pretty cool

    3. monkeybanana4

      monkeybanana4

If you get a chance, you should start from Silent Hill 1. The story in each game is pretty good, but it also has those notorious puzzles and dungeon layouts. Silent Hill 4: The Room is somewhat different from its predecessors, but is still quite solid.

Nice. I'll have to try those games out when I get the chance. I've read that the later Fatal Frame games never got released outside of Japan - quite a shame since the first ones look pretty good.

Out of curiosity, have you played the Resident Evil series?

Yes go for it, formal lessons for anything are...optional unless you're being a surgeon or something.
Take it from someone who's wasted the past seven years and just now took the initiative to make use of my art. The only thing you can really have is regret, and you don't want that shit on top of everything else that sucks. Just push for whatever you're most passionate for cause it's all that matters really.

@Manji 卍 That's awesome! Guitar is an amazing instrument. Like the others have said, you should totally go for it. Music is a great way to express oneself, so don't let anything stop you from doing that.

As for resources, along with YouTube and books, there are many online sites with free guidance on how to read music/play acoustic guitar. There are also many sites that have free guitar scores for practice. When you start learning and ever need any help reading music, then don't hesitate to ask. (I'm not an expert on the guitar, but reading music is the same for all instruments.)

    3. Bear

      Bear

You can also produce music without knowing how to play anything. I have three projects going on at the moment (metal/punk/surf/rock/rap with a friend, electronica and rap), and I can't play shit. Hell, I can barely use a computer. But that's not a big problem in 2018. For the stuff requiring actual instruments I just write riffs on my computer (using guitar pro), add bass/drums/synth/whatever in the program and get people I know to record it for me/us.

Very easy. So anyone can become a musician in 2018. Not everyone can live off their music as that requires both skills and plenty, plenty luck, but everyone can have it as a hobby.
