You have a good point. Uroboros doesn’t scream tracksuits and Hageshisa to doesn’t bring asymmetrical haircuts to mind. I really liked his ghoul look when he first used it for Blossoming Beelzebub, but then he overdid it. Now he’s constantly changing it up, which is cool.

DSS's theme came across very clearly. "While I breathe, I hope" and how it was a concept album based on the aftermath of the earthquake. I'm not sure what The Insulated World is supposed to mean yet.

You certainly wouldn’t be alone in that opinion.

Very subtle heaven and hell imagery, Kyo flapping around, drones all over the place, an elevator... ring a bell?
-
I actually really dig his Lingerie Voldo look in the Utafumi video. But then again that video just makes me laugh.
-
He looked cool when he had a TV for a head.

I can’t find a picture at the moment but before he shaved his head this time he had that nasty forelock thing.

I need a detailed review of the CD packaging on my desk by the end of the day!

I bought Homo Homini Lupus on Amazon because why not. Really digging it, even if Mirai says the rest of the album won't sound like it. A+ album cover by the way.

Toshiya always looks fantastic.

The real question is: does this commercial still fit in with the theme of The Insulated World?

Oldest song is from 2008. Huh.

At this rate they'll be able to play entire sets of Sustain the Untruth clones and you better enjoy it.

Waste of an encore slot. Play an actual throwback (like rotate in a Six Ugly track) instead of IKITSUUUITA

I really like Toshiba's part in Keigaku no Hajimari.

New Utafumi feels very much like a shot in one take. I can respect that. It's just rough.
-
Something about the remakes made me feel uneasy. Auditory uncanny valley or what have you. Something so familiar, but something is just... off.
-
I really hope this was the band's intended listening experience for the album. So deep.
-
Hey, I know these songs!

Better than the MIDI kit sound if you ask me.
-
Say what you will about Kyo's voice aging, but I'm happy the dude has stopped using so much falsetto and instead uses his head voice to hit the high register.

Seeing the spectrogram made me laugh, then weep.

Fingers crossed HARD that the CD rip sounds better.
