I decided to finally make a profile on here because I kinda been lurking this forum for awhile lol, my name is Tristan im 21 years old from ontario canada I been listening to visual kei since I was around 11 years old some of my favorite bands are X japan, malice mizer, moi dix mois, AURA, D, syndrome, phantasmagoria, lareine, versailles, madeth gray'll, shazna, kuroyume, dio distraught overlord, vidoll, la'mule, aicle, ayabie, panic channel, metis gretel, megaromania and several others...im mostly into the old school stuff if it werent obvious haha but theres a few bands from the modern era that I enjoy as well like kiryu, la'veil mizera, scarlet valse, the gallo, and rides in revelion... . I noticed most people on here use band members as their profile pic but my picture is actually me, because I like to attempt visual kei looks sometimes lol anyways id love to meet some new friends on here ~ !

After going through Dadaroma's discography, it hit me. People, myself included, always cry whenever they release something that is not Oboreru Sakana. The thing is, there are more than enough solid songs in their discography if you are willing to look past the Masturbations and Pornographs. I, for one, am not interested in the group anymore after listening to this single and given their current history, but nowhere in my comments did I say anything negative, hateful, or spiteful towards anyone else. It's great that you like this, but people are allowed to have differing opinions. Chill out.

If you are talking about my last post, I was not being mean, I posted facts and explained why their statement was wrong. There are several other incorrect things they have stated in this thread but I wasn't going to quote and discredit every single one because that would seem targetted. At the same time, when one person is continually stating things as fact that are wrong, continually correcting them (with source) is not picking on them, it's just correcting misinformation. If they stated "I think, but I'm not sure" it wouldn't be the same. If someone is going to state that a band definitely released something you know they didn't and even make fun of you for "not knowing about it" I don't see the harm in pointing out that it didn't happen. Again, didn't want others wasting their time looking for something that doesn't exist. The only post I made that could be considered mean was my first post and I deleted it a few hours after posting it because I saw it didn't help and that they weren't going to change their behavior. The only reason it lives on is because zero quoted the entire thing; I can't delete that- they are free to do so if they want. I'm sorry you found my post mean. Hopefully someone found it helpful.

I feel lowkey bad when i see Genki doing his stuff all alone in his room. (i wouldn't be surprised if he recorded and mixed it all alone in his room) Koichi is on "world-travel" after arabic topic with salam, the last stuff seems to be chinese-themed (Was there a MV? Was there supposed to be a MV? I don't care too much, because what he is doing now is absolutly not my thing) Its just feel like all the money went to Koichi and Genki went empty handed? Or why Koichi seems to be able to have staff and shooting locations etc. Is Koichi going down on anyone for this stuff? Eitherway I think Genkis new project seems to be somewhere fine. At least better what he did till now, but yeah... I'd be happy if would stop the self-made MVs filmed in his room. Any lyric video with a plain photo, drawing, small animations in the background feels better.

I second kisaki. hes one of the worst people in vkei as a human being but I cant deny that I still love all his music phantasmagoria and syndrome still remain two of my favorite bands and I enjoy some kisaki project songs to. Dada from velvet eden could also be included hes known for doing lots of toxic crap. but yet I still will listen to velvet eden songs because some of them are just so good...especially the Kalm era

they do features once in a while... it's typically an ojisan member helping a start-up band or an approaching irrelevancy act to get up from their knees: miyavi's debut lives with Pata and later having a sugizo feature before parting ways with PSC also come to mind, or random one time session bands that play for a night or two and never record anything. soan project was a temporary project with bandmen from various active/semi-active bands that released stuff in two different line-ups so it's not the same, but it still more or less fits the mold crystal lake fronteuse seams to contribute his vocal effort pretty lavishly around sukekiyo b-sides and bonus disks are stuffed with features starwave is often shat on, but their acts provide more or less asinine self-covers with different vocalists every once in a while unless it's a legacy act providing the feature, there's little point in doing this in vk: gya stanning is typically focused on a single band or a particular member and his projects, and most bands regularly playing/socializing together would rather do split VA comp albums (which as a tradition seems to fade away as legacy labels close and major ones typically not bothering with this at all.)
