I met Game Grumps today, and asked Arin to sign the picture of Gackt in the Merveilles booklet since he said he wanted Gackt to fuck him in the ass. Awesome list. Kizuato was the stand out this year so far imo. Last year, many people commented on how Lime's limited vocal ability could be the downfall of kizu, but I think the title track should discard any doubts on that matter.

Nice to see Develop One's Faculties (Untelligible has been a true surprise for me), Chanty, The fin., Darian Marian and Kizu If I had the chance, I would have add Kamijo's Emigre/the whole Sang song to this list, top-notch tracks of his latest work (listened to it after having made my picks) Sad to not see Pura, Buck-Tick and Nocturnal Bloodlust.

So glad to see the recommend tracks make it's triumphant return! And so many good songs to choose from. Also I like the new quarterly format that way, with the larger amount of tracks we're getting we'll have plenty of time to listen to them all every 3 months.

Totally agree. Best album since ARCHE for sure. Much meta in concept. So memes. It's good to see them poking fun at themselves for a change instead of taking everything so seriously. My personal favourite tracks are 'Self-Indulgent Pretentiousness' and 'WE MADE VK BRÖÖTAL'. I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that 'Another Song About Suicide' is absolutely the greatest album closer they've done to date, seconded only by Taiyou no Ao. The cover of TOOL's 'Maynard's Dick' is just icing on the cake. Even though 75% of this album is just remakes, I still feel it'll go down as one of DEG's finest works. Hearing the entirety of Lindbergh's speech in the new MASK is especially poignant, especially after the crushing brutality of the new shovel-djent version of Zakuro. Don't know about you guys, but I absolutely love that they gave The Domestic Fucker Family the JEALOUS -reverse- treatment. I wonder if they would have performed 'INWARD SCREAM pt. 524' live the same way as it appears on the album or whether they'd have just continued on with 525 in the next show. Shame we'll never know. The coolest thing is that if you take all 523 previous INWARD SCREAMs and play them back-to-back at 325 times the speed, they actually make a demo of this song. It's sad we'll never see them live again. But hey, I guess being on the road for over 20 years will do that to a band. I'm happy we were able to get one final great effort from them before they disbanded.

It seems like we may have a dogma pt2 only the songs are more refined and not as predicatablely boring. This reminds me of when they came out with the undying single. That song was too strong to fit on that album with all that other stuff though it fit the era well. I would have put undying on this album if I could. I'm really glad Gazette is back! I wonder if they'll do another u.s. tour?

If it's at the same time as last time I'll try to record it (with jdownloader, hopefully it works). Someone else should try too though because trying to record livestreams always seems to fail. Edit: pls comment on this to remind me too
